The demonstrators assembled before the park where the town would set up a centre of incorporation, like at other places in the city. Then, they headed for the mayor’s office, chanting slogans hostile to the roma population. But when they arrived at the townhall, a police detachment barred them from entering.
So the group made a u-turn, trying to find the mayor whose resignation they demand. They finally found him in a municipal saloon, a bit further down the road. The dialogue was lively, FrÈdÈric Marchand was being jostled.
The tone was rising. Several members of the crowd spat [at him], some even kicked. Given this dead end, the mayor wanted to leave, but the demonstrators blocked the way for him. The use of elbows was necessary. While insulting him, participants of the protest march even tried to persecute the mayor when he escaped through a door.
Then, the troup left the municipal saloon. Shortly after, FrÈdÈric Marchand confessed to the press that he was afraid, but still more determined than ever to follow his project through.

Most of all by the media, featuring reports on all major radio and tv stations, more than 250 articles in the regional and national press, and innumerable reprises on the internet. Then by the politicians responsible, from the most rancid extreme right-wing to the most stupid extreme left-wing, en passant by the grand [political] formations, all of them were thus forced to position themselves vis-‡-vis our action. And finally, it has been heard most of all by our people, something no-one can contest while observing how rapidly the social networks took up the issue, or the explosion of the number of visits of our launching video. One hundred of young men and women from all France just entered the Great Mosque of Poitiers and occupy its roofs. On the front, face to the minaret, we unrolled a banner where one can read a clear message : « Immigration, building of mosques : REFERENDUM ! »

Massive immigration radically transform our country : according to the recent work of INSEE (National Institute of Statistics), 43% of the 18-50 years old people from the region of Paris are immigrant or descendants of immigrants. A people can recover from an economic crisis or a war but not from the replacement of his native population : without French, there’s no more France. I haven’t read all that is available yet on this ongoing event. However the press is attempting to demonize these people as ‘far-right‘ as they always do instead of as typical indigenous people of France fed up and fighting back against Islamic beachheads, which is to the letter what a Mosque is, and was intended to be by Mohamed when he started the damn things.
Even the Geneva convention allows for attacks on enemy positions disguises as religion or schools and further, the protections of the Geneva convention do not apply to those who do disguise military intention as civilian. So in fact, these people opposing the mosque are in full obeyance of military law one could argue.
However, as I stated, I haven’t had a chance to look into this completely yet.

BAMAKO (Reuters) – Al Qaeda-linked Islamists in Mali threatened on Saturday to “open the doors of hell” for French citizens if France kept pushing for armed intervention to retake the rebel-held north.
The renewed threats against French hostages and expatriates came as French-speaking nations met in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where French President Francois Hollande was expected to urge the rapid deployment of an African-led force to rout the Islamists.
Hollande said the threat would not deter France’s determination to quash the Islamists in Mali.
“If he continues to throw oil on the fire, we will send him the pictures of dead French hostages in the coming days,” said Oumar Ould Hamaha, a spokesman for Islamist group MUJWA, in apparent reference to the six French nationals still held by armed groups after being seized in the region.
“He will not be able to count the bodies of French expatriates across West Africa and elsewhere,” Hamaha said by telephone.
MUJWA is among the Islamist groups which seized control of the northern two-thirds of Mali when fighters swept into the territory in April following a coup in the capital Bamako.
Regional and Western powers are now considering armed intervention to retake the area, with former colonial ruler France seeking swift military action by regional bloc ECOWAS.
Imagine. The name one of the gang-rape victims but give no name or information whatsoever of the 10 men CONVICTED of aggravated serial gang rape of teen girls in France. I get it that names should not be given of the accused. After all, you should not be able to destroy the lives of good people on the mere accusation of sexual misconduct. This would make blackmail a national sport. But these men where CONVICTED.

French prosecutors said Friday they will appeal the acquittals and light sentences handed down to 14 men accused of repeatedly gang-raping two teenage girls in a run-down Paris suburb.
The court decision on Wednesday sparked widespread outrage in France, with one feminist group saying it sent a “catastrophic message” that rape is permissible.
Ten men were acquitted in the case while four defendants were handed down sentences ranging from one year in prison to three years suspended for raping one victim, identified only as Nina, now aged 29.
Prosecutors had called for eight of the accused to be given sentences of between five and seven years. They made no sentencing recommendations for the other six accused.
“The verdict is too far from the prosecution requests, both on the sentences given and certain acquittals. It does not take into account how the crimes were committed,” said Nathalie Becache, chief prosecutor for the Paris suburb of Creteil.
This is quite a little report. I wonder how many areas like this exist to varying degrees within our own cities. I bet more than we think.

French politicians such as President François Hollande hope that Qatari funds will help fight poverty in disadvantaged Muslim neighborhoods, They assume that poverty is the cause of France’s social problems. They should, however, know better. The problems in the suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis and elsewhere are not caused by poverty, but by the unwillingness of many Muslims to integrate into French society.
Qatar announced last February, when Nicolas Sarkozy was still the President of France, that it was willing to invest €50 million ($65 million) in the French banlieues, the suburbs which are home to the vast majority of the six million Muslim immigrants in France. Meanwhile, Qatar has doubled the sum to €100 million, which it is apparently going to spend through an investment fund in support of small businesses owned by Muslims. Last month, the French government approved the fund, which the French newspaper Libération describes as a “Qatari take over of the banlieues.”
