Anderlecht [Brussels]: Clash during swearing-in of Islam list alderman

A protest was launched after the swearing-in of Redouane Ahrough, elected alderman for the Islam list at Anderlecht, around 7.30 pm on Sunday. ‘It’s the extreme right who express themselves, who do not swallow that we are integrated’, replied M Ahrough, after the incident.

Monday evening, the swearing-in of one of the two elected aldermen of the Islam list was disturbed. David Erzet, president of the Nonali association, an association that simply advocates the banning of the Islamic religion, rose at the end of the ceremony, in order to declare that it was illegal and anti-democratic to tolerate an alderman who ‘wants to install sharia in Belgium’. He was accompanied by Alain Wagner, president of ICLA France.

‘You have seen where the extremists are’, reacted alderman Redouane Ahrough, interviewed by our journalist Vanessa Costanzo. ‘We, we are loyalists. But some people want to be above the law. It’s the extreme right-wing who express themselves. We have been insulted for 30 years, we the 2nd and 3rd generation of Belgians. Today, they don’t manage to swallow that we are integrated, and that we quite simply will work democratically within the political system.’

Mischaël Modrikamen, the president of the Parti Populaire (PP), and five to seven members of the extreme right-wing movement Nation were present during the swearing-in of Redouane Ahrough at Anderlecht, but did not intervene.

The disrupters were rapidly removed from the hall of the municipal council.

In contrast, there were no disturbances at the swearing-in ceremony of Lhoucine Aït Jeddig in Molenbeek [Brussels], second alderman elected for the Islam list for Brussels capital.

Michael Laudahn translated this video for us of a fellow who should be quite familiar to most of us by now. Depending on the sentence, I may go over some of my footage of him that I believe Christian Action Network shot and see if any more of it is worth publishing.

Really though, will he ever get more than a few weekends at Club Fed and then win a lawsuit for USD $10,000,000 for unlawful persecution or something? Will whatever happens to him be a deterrent to him or any other jihadi in Europe?

Sooner or later we need to treat this like a war as opposed to a crime. They do. And it is.

Books which portray ‘traditional’ images of mothers caring for their children or fathers going out to work could be barred from schools under proposals from Brussels.

An EU report claims that ‘gender stereotyping’ in schools influences the perception of the way boys and girls should behave and damages women’s career opportunities in the future.

Critics said the proposals for ‘study materials’ to be amended so that men and women are no longer depicted in their traditional roles would mean the withdrawal of children’s classics, such as Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five series, Paddington Bear or Peter Pan.

The document, prepared by the European Parliament’s Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, also suggests EU-wide legislation is needed to tackle the way women are depicted in advertising during children’s television programmes.

It further complains about the number of women in EU parliaments, and floats the idea of fixed quotas on a minimum proportion of female MPs.

 

The report says: ‘Children are confronted with gender stereotypes at a very young age through television series, television advertisements, study materials and educational programmes, influencing their perception of how male and female characters should behave.

‘Special educational programmes and study materials should therefore be introduced in which men and women are no longer used in examples in their ‘traditional roles’, with the male as the breadwinner of the family and the female as the one who takes care of the children.’

Brussels town Councillor Bianca Debaets (CD & V) regrets that there will be no traditional Christmas tree anymore on the ‘Grote Markt’ Central Market Place) this year. will stand. “I suspect that its reference to religion has settled the matter is the decisive factor.” The city denies that this is the case.

“The Christmas tree as such is not necessarily a Christian or a religious symbol, but it bears obviously a reference to Christmas. I suspect that this very reference of the tree will ban the Christmas tree from the Market. And that is a shame.”

Debaets thinks a historical and multi religious city should respect the traditions alive and should allow space for all convictions. “For a lot of people who are not Christians, the tree should take part in it,” she concludes from the reactions she got from residents and merchants.

“What will come next?” Debaets wonders. “All Easter eggs banned from the city because they refer to Easter? If this is the new style of the brand new Brussels City Board I fear for the outcome.”

According to Nicolas Dassonville, spokesman for Mayor Thielemans (PS), the change has nothing to do with anti-religious motives. “In that case we would have cancelled the crib?” he tell brusselnieuws.be. “But that will stay, and moreover, it is not true that there is no Christmas tree. On the contrary: by turning it into an illuminated artwork, we highlight the tree even more. Therefore, it will more than ever be in the heart of the ‘Grote Markt’.

Well, at least this is honest. In stark contrast to the fake IRI ‘Islam is Peace’ nonsense the son of the former Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Iran acting as a reporter for Press TV, the Iranian government’s official propaganda wing pulled in Ottawa the other day.

I really hope people who see this send the link out everywhere. There is simply not one spot on earth where Muslims are not planning to force it to become a sharia state either through terrorism and intimidation, thuggery, crime or illegal influence, or via misuse of the electoral process as you see below. In most places probably both.

Multiculturalism will render all state institutions ineffective and dumb down the population

Here is another component of the problem of multiculturalism that is subtle compared to jihad, but no less, and perhaps even more damaging.

The idea that not only does the teacher have to dumb down lessons for students who feel no pressure to properly learn the local language, but that on whatever day they feel they don’t have to appear at school the teachers are forced to do reviews and pointless exercises to the few students who are there in order to avoid repeating it all after the holiday.

Aboe Haniefa, deputy for Fouad Belkacem at Sharia4Belgium, has been arrested. Antwerp police suppose he was the instigator for the Borgerhout [Antwerp] riots [last saturday].

Wednesday morning after a house search, Aboe Haniefa (also identified under his real name, Hicham C) was arrested and presented [to the custodial judge, probably], writes De Standaard. He remained under arrest, suspected for instigating to hatred and violence against non-moslems.

Last weekend’s rioters protested against the american anti-islam film ‘Innocence of Muslims’. Similar protests in the moslem world led to violence and deaths. In Borgerhout, 230 persons were arrested. According to De Standaard, the court deems that there is sufficient evidence to suggest that Hicham C was the organiser of the Borgerhout riots.

This 30-year old moslem is known as the number two for the radical moslem group Sharia4Belgium. Earlier this year, after leader Fouad Belkacem (alias Aboe Imran) had been sent into prison, he posed as the group’s new chairman. On wednesday, an assembly prohibition had been proclaimed for Borgerhout.

Moderate moslem leaders reported that they received threats.
