A court case where the method is far more important than the result

In the following Project veritas video, James O’keefe video, a teacher who had been secretly filmed by a Project Veritas associate, sued for defamation and lost.

To be honest, I think it was a weak bust. A teacher who, for all we know, had a really difficult large class of tough kids who make teaching a near impossibility, not saying it is this way, but its more than a little easy to believe it was, had a routine he did where he offered to let students fight him. No idea if this ever really happened and no idea if it wasn’t a schtick to earn street cred with students.

But there is one thing that is critically important and critically good about this case:

The judge decided 100% based on what was true and not true.

He decided against the claimant as there could not have been defamation because what was said about him and the video evidence showed it to be true.

This is as central to classical civilization as anything can be.

In communism as we are learning very quickly, what is true does not matter but what collective the parties involved are imputed to belong to. If the plaintiff is white and the defendant is black there will be a different outcome than if they belonged to other groups as assigned by the authorities’ prevailing ideology.

In Islam, it is very similar but much simpler.

The decision again, has nothing at all to do with truth, and everything to do with whether or not Islam is advantaged or disadvantaged by the information presented.

Defamation, liable and slander in any culture that is an intact descendant of Greek thought, MUST make its verdicts based on what can be shown to be true using logic, reason, and evidence.

But in Islam it is 100% based on what serves the interests of Islam and its position of authority. What is true plays exactly no part in any verdict.

This is not me saying it. This is codified in The Cairo Declaration of Human Rights presented to the UN via the OIC as official doctrine.

So whatever you feel about this odd case between what I think is a high school teacher and Project Veritas, we can rejoice that at least our legal system at that time and that place is intact.

Ottawa monastery’s Buddha statue vandalized for the third time

The following article is from an April 17 2019 link from the Ottawa Citizen.

It should be noted that this area over the last few years has become heavily islamic, and although the writing on the stick smacks of Christianity, there is not a long history of Christians smashing up other people’s iconography in Canada. And certainly not Catholics. Glass houses and all that.

Last March, we went and filmed the area after the same statue was ‘decapitated’ in what was to become a series of attacks on this same statue. That video below the article and more recent video from security camera footage of the current attack:

Members of a Heron Road Buddhist community say they are fearful after a statue of the Buddha was vandalized for the third time.

A surveillance camera caught a vandal hitting the statue with a piece of wood early Wednesday morning, the monastery’s chief incumbent monk Rev. Nugegalayaye Jinananda Thero said.

On the wood was written the First Commandment from the Bible: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Police confirmed they were called to a mischief complaint at the monastery Wednesday.

“This is the third time and the whole Buddhist community is threatened by this — it’s not only vandalizing a statue,” Jinananda Thero said.

“It is an uneasy feeling.”

Some stunning cruelty in this robbery of a man in Belgium

I am hoping C can fill in some blanks here.

At the moment the most I know is that someone who speaks in a fairly hoodlumish way, that might be Moroccan, robbed a homeless man in a way that suggests he was more interested in inflicting pain and cruelty and the robbery was more an excuse to ‘justify’ the torture.

This happened in Antwerp, Belgium (“premetrostation Astrid”), I hevan’t seen anything about the ethnicity of the teens, though they’re clearly of foreign extraction.

The man is called Jef, is 59 and lives in the Linkeroever area (west bank). he went to the opening of a bar in merksem (eastside) and missed his connection, so he was waiting for the first tram home.

1. Liberal Feminist Mother Warns Transgender Activists Are Taking Control of Mental Health Profession.

A liberal feminist mother of a gender-dysphoric teen warns parents that transgender activists are ensuring it will soon be “nearly impossible” to find a mental health professional who is willing to help these children evaluate their self-perceptions.

“I quickly discovered that it is nearly impossible to find therapists who do this kind of work,” wrote the anonymous mother in a piece that appeared at the Federalist Tuesday. “If a girl presents as transgender today, the vast majority of therapists will immediately affirm the girl’s declared gender identity and ask her what steps she would like to take toward transition.”

Currently, transgender activists are celebrating their success in pressing lawmakers in 16 states and the District of Columbia to ban what they call “conversion therapy.” These political supporters of gender ideology claim therapists who do not immediately affirm the perception of young people claiming to be a gender that is incompatible with their biological sex are “harmful” and “abusive” and must be outlawed.

2. Saudi sisters plead for help from Georgia after running away from parents

Two Saudi sisters appealed on social media for international protection on Wednesday, claiming they were in danger if they were made to return to the kingdom.

Maha al-Subaie, 28, and Wafa al-Subaie, 25, said they had arrived in Georgia after running away from their family and were worried they would be forcibly sent home, in the third such public case of Saudi runaways in recent months.

“We fled oppression from our family because the laws in Saudi Arabia (are) too weak to protect us,” said Wafa, without elaborating. “We are seeking the UNHCR (the UN’s refugee agency) protection in order to be taken to a safe country.”

3. Hard to scrub the Islam out of this murder:

(The thing that really gets me about this, is how European and Canadian news sites would never have included the internet search aspect of this story in order to protect Islam from the hatred, scorn, contempt and defiance it has so truly earned.)

4. Salvini probed for kidnapping migrants,Libya surge seen

(ANSA) – Milan, April 15 – Interior Minister Matteo Salvini is under investigation for kidnapping migrants, Salvini himself said Monday – as a feared surge of 800,000 refugees from Libya’s conflict was seen by the UN-backed government there.

Salvini said he is being probed for allegedly abducting migrants allegedly held on a ship stopped from landing in Siracusa from January 24 to 30 this year.
Salvini said the prosecutor in the case, Carmelo Zuccaro, had filed to dismiss the case at the same time as he had submitted the charges.

Earlier this year the Senate voted not to lift Salvini’s parliamentary immunity to face charges in another alleged migrant kidnapping case.

Salvini took the opportunity Monday to respond to fellow Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio who on Sunday said Italy’s blockade of ports to NGO migrant rescue ships was “only temporary”, sources said.

Salvini said “I take the opportunity to reply to the minister: for me the ports will remain closed”, reiterating his long-held stance.

Ilhan Omar a Muslim Brotherhood leader in USA? Links 1, April 16, 2019

1. Ex-New York police chief: Omar ‘infatuated with terrorists’

A former New York police commissioner has said that Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is “infatuated” with “terrorists” including Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and that she should be removed from office.

Bernard Kerik appeared on Fox News yesterday, where he added that as a member of Congress, “you can’t support terrorist organisations”, pointing to Omar’s appearance as a keynote speaker for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Since November 2014, the UAE has listed CAIR as a terrorist organisation, claiming that they are affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood.

(I guess there isn’t an IP doorbell or refrigerator that is not now massively pinging some taco stand in Ecuador)

The arrest of Wikileaks founder and dissident Julian Assange has precipitated a deluge of cyber attacks according to the Ecuadorian government.

Ecuador’s Telecommunications Vice Minister Patricio Real confirmed the startling rise in cyber attacks on Monday, saying the government has fielded 40 million per day since Assange’s arrest on Thursday, according to Reuters.

The influx of attempted hacks has propelled Ecuador from 51st place in terms of  volume of cyber attacks worldwide to 31st, said Real.

7. Ilhan Omar met with Turkey’s Erdogan, who came to the US to meet with Muslim Brotherhood leaders. Just in case you wanted to know.

Conservative Review reporter Jordan Schachtel recently came upon an interesting tidbit in the Tusmo Times, a publication that covers the Somali community in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, area. He found a story there by the Somali-language paper’s founder and editor, Abdirahman Mukhtar, about a “closed-door meeting” that took place in New York City in September 2017 between visiting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and a then-relatively unknown Minnesota state representative named Ilhan Omar.

Omar, a Muslim immigrant from Somalia who won election to the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2018, reportedly led a delegation of Somalis from Minnesota to meet with Erdogan in New York. Erdogan was in town for the annual UN General Assembly meeting and Omar flew in to meet him at a local hotel in downtown New York City.

Thank you C., M., Wrath of Khan, Xanthippa, @AmyMek, Richard and all who contributed so much recently.

A twitter thread from a stone mason at Notre Dame

The following is a twitter thread by a man who claims to be a stone mason on historic sites, and worked at least twice on the Paris Cathedral of Notre Dame.
Marine le Pen follows him, so that’s not a bad bona fide.

Take this for whatever you want. But it tends to go to evidence that incompetent at best, people of muslim migrant backgrounds are working on these sites with no choice at all about it by the contractors.
People in Canada who do any sort of trades may want to comment if their experience here is similar.

One last thought:
How is affirmative action, not a type of communism, where you decide that people should have certain jobs, not because of level of skill, but because they represent some arbitrary collective which central planning has decided needs to be more represented in certain fields.

I am working in Paris since year 2000 as a mason.
I work at plenty of construction sites.
You need to know that concerning the (construction) teams,
they forced on us, Malians, Cap-Verdians, Maghrebis.

Many hate us, pray on the construction sites.

Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris.

The Notre Dame Cathedral, I worked there.
And its a symbol for me, additionally in being a bad memory
Because during the summer, my boss on the construction site
went on vacation and put me in August on a different construction site
where a Malian attacked me from behind in a surprise attack.

The Malian apprentice has attacked a young novice stone-cutter
and an ancient stone cutter from Alsace.
He told him, “Dirty white, I am not your slave”.
He refused to carry a wheelbarrow of stones
at the construction site
where we were placed in August during (his boss’) vacation.

The Malian waited for me, Monday morning
at the August construction site,
he was sent while our construction site (Notre Dame Paris) boss
was on vacation.
He, (Malian) spat on the floor.
And I did the same.
He called me a dirty bastard
And I answered him
he was a dirty bastard.

And then, when arriving on the construction site in the building
At the moment when I am warning the supervisor of the site hired for August
the Malian punched me hard several times by surprise in the back.
He hated whites. He tried to break my spine.
I still have damages.

The Malian was stopped by the team
The supervisor who liked me
sacked me from the site and the company.
He was protecting himself because
this black Malian was an illegal.
I have been humiliated and this caused me to
feel even more hatred against those people.
He hit me from behind.

All that was in 2005.
The company accepted to rehire me temporarily in 2007
at a different super construction site on the level of historical monuments.
I found out the terrible news at that moment
which caused me to hate those people even more.

In 2007 I am working again with my former supervisor from the construction site of Notre Dame
However at a different construction site.
MH. Manu, I’ve got your back.
We understand each other very well.
He admitted to me that they haven’t fired the black Malian in 2005
but only me.

The Malian choked my site supervisor
who was an affable and friendly guy
Everybody likes him.
He was choking him in the tower of the
Cathedral of Notre Dame.
Just after my boss was joking
He said to him, “Your wife is in Mali, how do you manage?”
They hate us.

Because of this SOB Malian, I couldn’t return to cut the stones in September
when my actual supervisor came back from vacation.
My supervisor hired me in 2007, then in 2008,
then in 2013.
I saw him for my aches and pains because he is a healer.

When the supervisor of the works of the company
for which I was temporarily hired
said precisely “you are fired, both of you. Go home”.
I was devastated. But at that point I did believe that
the other guy was fired as well.
Angry, I told (the supervisor) “I’m going to file a complaint”.

I left humiliated and angry.
I started walking to find a police station
to file a complaint.
A police officer received me in an office
which he shared with his female colleague.
He asked me to explain what happened
the name and description of the worker.

When I said that he was African,
his (the police) female colleague yelled at me.
I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it.
“You could lower your voice!!! I am just calling the office
of the prosecutor, so quiet down.”
FYI This female office was wearing the hand of Fatima necklace.

I will write under this tweet everything that happened to me in Paris since 2012
on construction sites restoring historical monuments.
I had plenty of problems and issues with the people with immigration background.

Pierre Cassen of Riposte Laïque on the state of Christianity in France

This is a highly worthy rant on the state of things in France. I would ask you all to watch and spread this please.

Frankly France has had a Causus Belli with Islam now for a decade at least. At this point it doesn’t matter who lit the match at Notre Dame. There is more than enough already to start fighting back.

I made an error in the original title as well as in the video itself. This was not Maxime Lepante, but Pierre Cassen of Riposte Laïque

Very sorry, at the moment I do not even remember why I thought it was Maxime.

Please forgive. I will likely fix the video somehow later on.

Poisoning the Holy Water at Notre Dame

From Gates of Vienna:

The Pollution of the Lavabos in Notre-Dame de Paris

The following article is poignant in light of what happened today at the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris.*

Daniel Hamiche is a French Catholic journalist and writer. In a brief post from 2018 he quotes Le Parisien in his discussion about the deliberate contamination of holy water in the stoups (a stoup is a basin or font of holy water that worshippers dip their fingers in, commonly known as a lavabo by American Catholics):

Stoups of the Notre-Dame cathedral polluted

By Daniel Hamiche
August 12, 2018

I prefer to use the word ‘pollution’ rather than ‘poisoning’, which was even put in the quotation marks by Le Parisien. It is rather common that imbeciles or villains pollute the stoups in churches — in my own parish one Sunday, a couple of years ago, I had to clean a stoup whose sacred water was dyed red…

An act of vandalism? Of malice? Vengeance of a pagan? Bad schoolboy joke? The mystery is still there… This Saturday morning, a team of police from the police station of the 4th arrondissement [of Paris] arrived at the île de la Cité, at Notre-Dame de Paris, after mass. To investigate. On Friday [August 10th] Catholic tourists, who came to gather together at Notre-Dame [the verb “to gather” here has the connotation of “worshipping”, or praying together since it is also used for going together to someone’s grave to pay respect, or meditate], were allegedly poisoned by… holy water! “They complained about burning around their faces after crossing themselves with the water from the stoups, at the entrance of the church, according to the police source. They also suffered from headaches. A Church representative, worried, went to the police station of the 4th arrondissement, responsible for the area [where Notre-Dame is located], in order to report the events. To elucidate the facts. To protect his flock. […] In the alleys, a priest, in his alb confirms the incident: “It was above all very smelly, the water.” And, while looking towards the sky: “What can you do! It’s unfortunately an evil act. They want to poison the world!” […] Finally, after an investigation, the fine bloodhounds from the police station of the 4th arrondissement concluded the absence of danger. No complaint was filed, and no official investigation was opened. In Notre-Dame, it was decided, per security measures, to empty the water from the stoups and to bleach them! The stone basins have been completely cleaned and filled with fresh water.
