Contributor’s links post for April 22, 2019

Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We muse use it while we can.

1. Denmark: Days of Muslim rioting in Copenhagen after anti-Islam campaigner throws Koran in air

AT least 23 people were arrested in connection with violent riots that broke out when a far-right anti-Islam activist threw a copy of the Koran in the air.

Police threw teargas after missiles were thrown at them when the unrest spread on Sunday to several parts of Copenhagen, Denmark. Rasmus Paludan, the founder of the anti-immigrant party Hard Line, held a demonstration calling for Islam to be banned from Denmark. He had thrown the holy book more than once in Noerrobro, which is an anti-immigrant area in the capital.

Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen he condemned Mr Paludan’s “meaningless” actions.

He said on Twitter: “I strongly disagree with Paludan’s meaningless provocations that have no other purpose than sow disunity.

“Meet him with arguments – not with violence.

“Protect democracy and freedom of expression.

“Do not let derogatory actions directed at specific groups in Denmark destroy our unity.”

Mr Paludan had cobblestones thrown back at him by counter-protestors, before police then took him away.

2. The burning down of historic buildings and churches has a long tradition among the enemies of the Occident. For example in Gelsenkirchen, Germany

Yes, the haters of the Occident like to set fire to it. Unglorious destruction of cultural assets also in Gelsenkirchen,Germany  in 1995. For example the Gothic vicarage of Schloss Lüttinghof (photo at site).  I could not believe it when I read in the newspaper about a fire exercise at the place where only one house stood, the old vicarage built in 1516. Thereupon I rode my bike to the Gelsenkirchen district of Hassel and sadly it was true. The historically valuable building was burned down in the context of a fire exercise!

3. Report: Lord Ahmed of Rotherham Facing New Charge of Buggery Against Boy Under 11

Lord Ahmed of Rotherham has been charged with another alleged historic child sex offence at Sheffield Crown Court.

A former Labour councillor and magistrate elevated to the House of Lords as a life peer by Tony Blair in the 1990s, Pakistan-born Nazir Ahmed had already been charged with two counts of attempting to rape a girl under 16 and one count of indecently assaulting a boy under 14, between 1971 and 1974, at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.

An additional charge of buggery against a boy under 11 has been added to his charge sheet at the higher Sheffield Crown Court, the Rotherham Advertiser reports.

Ahmed, of East Bawtry Road, Rotherham, has not entered any pleas during his hearings, but the BBC reports his lawyer, Haroon Shah, as saying he will be pleading not guilty to all of the charges against him.

Ahmed’s brother Mohamed Farouq, 68, of Worrygoose Lane, Rotherham, is also facing charges, and has pleaded not guilty to four counts of indecently assaulting a boy under 14 between 1968 and 1972.

Another brother, Mohammed Tariq, of Gerard Road, Rotherham, pleaded not guilty to two counts of indecently assaulting a boy under 14 between 1970 and 1972.

4. Interesting interview with a member of the Polish Government inn English about why they don’t feel they need to listen toGermany when it comes to waves of muslim illegals.

5. A decent clip from FOX about the state of the counter-investigations on Barr, and those who colluded to overthrow Trump by less than legal means.

6. Sri Lanka: Priest says it is ‘time to forgive killers’ after Batticaloa bombing

(To this priest I would humbly suggest that he has not read Ecclesiastes 3, but if he has, he does not understand which time this is. The time for forgiveness is after you are safe from what killed you all yesterday. Till then, its another time. The Bible is not a suicide pact.)

7. Check out the new blue goo the police use on French citizens from their water cannon trucks. FF to 9:45 to see the blue goo. I’m pretty sure its not Perrier or vitamin water.

A few assorted news items to cap off Saturday: Links 1, April 20, 2019

1. Just Outside Denver, Black Male (Oghaleoghene Atuno) Deliberately Targets Two White Boys in Hit-And-Run Racial Assault

First it was Landen Hoffman (a five-year-old white boy) targeted in Minneapolis at the Mall of America by a black man who was looking to kill.

Now, a black man has targeted two white kids in the suburbs of Denver, deliberately running them over in a hit and run. [Security Video Leads To Arrest In Hit-And-Run That Injured 2 Boys, Denver CBS, April 16, 2019]:

Law enforcement said security footage from the area showed Atuno circling the cul-de-sac several times before allegedly hitting the boys. The boys were walking on the sidewalk.

State Patrol used surveillance video from homes and schools to identify the vehicle in the incident. After the image was released to the public, someone reported a similar vehicle at an apartment complex.

The vehicle matched the description, and belonged to Atuno’s mother, an arrest affidavit said.

2. April 1: REPORT: ILHAN OMAR IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR MISUSING CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is facing a probe into her campaign spending after complaints alleged that she misused contributions for personal use, according to a report published on Monday.

The Minnesota Campaign Finance Board is investigating Omar after Minnesota GOP State Rep. Steve Drazkowski filed two complaints alleging she spent nearly $6,000 in campaign funds for personal use while she served in the Minnesota legislature, reported WJLA. Some of the improper expenditures include payments to Omar’s divorce attorney and spending on travel to Boston and Estonia.

“I had observed a long pattern,”

Drazkowski told WJLA. “Representative Omar hasn’t followed the law. She’s repeatedly trampled on the laws of the state in a variety of areas, and gotten by with it.”

3. Music store employee, 46, who abused an elderly man, 74, wearing a MAGA hat outside a Palo Alto Starbucks and boasted about it online has gone missing after she was fired

(When the doxxer becomes the doxxee)

A music store employee who ranted at an elderly man because she saw him wearing a Make America Great Again hat outside a California Starbucks has gone missing after she was fired from her job.

Rebecca Mankey, from Palo Alto, failed to return home to her husband on Friday after a trip to Lake County, the Sheriff’s Office there say.

Her cellphone last placed her in Aberdeen, Washington, and desperate friends have posted online for help in finding her.

Melissa Demyan wrote on Facebook: ‘My friend Parker is missing. It’s been over 24 hours since anyone has seen or heard from her. I last saw her when she was leaving Lake County to head home yesterday.

‘Parker if you’re reading this: we love you so so much and we just want to know you’re safe. Please let us know you’re okay!’

Mankey, 46, allegedly branded the 74-year-old Jewish Trump supporter ‘racist’ and a ‘Nazi’ before boasting about her attack online earlier this month.

4. Greece: Police Stop Truck with Arab Migrants Inside

Greek police said Saturday they have stopped a truck with stolen license plates and found 59 undocumented migrants, including Arabs, inside.

The truck was stopped Friday afternoon on the highway about 30 kilometers east of Thessaloniki, because it had Bulgarian license plates that had been reported stolen.

Behind a few boxes of insulation materials lay the 59 migrants, about half from Somalia and the rest from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Eritrea, Iraq, Palestine and Sudan, police announced Saturday.

The migrants told police they had paid 1,500 euros ($1,690) each to a trafficker in Turkey who helped them cross into Greece by boat, before boarding the truck.

The 61-year-old Bulgarian driver was arrested.

5. Churches Desecrated in Ongoing Attacks Across Europe

Across Europe, there has been a growing rise in attacks on churches. Countries like France and Germany have seen a spike in violent vandalism, desecrating cherished churches and Christian symbols in recent months and years.

According to the German news site PI-News, every day in France, two churches are desecrated. They report 1,063 attacks on Christian churches or symbols like crucifixes, icons, and statues in France in 2018, marking a 17 percent increase from the year before.

The Middle East Forum reports that attacks on Catholic churches in France since the start of the year have included smashed statues, broken crosses, and demolished tabernacles.

6. France silent about 2K church attacks over 2 yrs.

In the wake of the colossal fire destroying a significant part of the 850-year-old Notre Dame Cathedral, many French authorities consider the blaze an accident – despite the fact that there has been a major surge of incidents where churches have been destroyed or vandalized by hostile Muslims.

“Nearly 2,000 Christian houses of worship in France have been desecrated in the past two years, according to police, [while] in Germany, there were four such incidents in March,” WND announced. “Some French politicians have attributed the church desecrations – averaging more than two a day – to ‘militant secularism.’”

Continentental coverup?

However, political correctness across the Atlantic has made reporting on Islamic attacks against Christian buildings and monuments taboo – and when Islamic adherents are exposed, their crimes are oftentimes excused.

Thank you SB., Xanthippa, M., Wrath of Khan, EB, Richard and all who contributed in any way to our effort this holiday weekend.

I must say, its starting to look like Socrates had a good run for it, but people have just lost the desire to remain reasonable.

Communists torch cars of AfD members, burn building nearby

Funny how these guys never get caught. These are big crimes. In fact it is terrorism. Violence for a political goal.
But it’s also arson and reckless endangerment and Im sure in Germany, it is three or four hundred zoning and fire regulation breaches as well.

Yet they never seem to get caught.

ANTIFA is the thug army of the left wing political class. In Germany, that is Merkel. In Canada that is Trudeau. And we know no non-leftist would get away with anything even 1% of what these self admitted communists do.

Candidate, tell us what you really think of America

1. Sydney Archbishop: French Church Burnings Attest Christians ‘Under Siege’

Sydney’s Catholic archbishop said Thursday that Christians around the world are “under siege” and hopes the fire at Paris’ Notre-Dame Cathedral was not a deliberate attack as others have been.

Archbishop Anthony Fisher said that after hearing of a recent “catalogue of fires” and arson attacks in French churches, “it really struck me that we are, in some ways, under siege.”

“In a sense, Christians are always under siege, even when they are very popular in the world. We have our own spiritual battles to fight,” he told radio host Alan Jones.

“Particularly at this time,” he said, “we know there are those in the world who are opposed to all religion or opposed to our religion and it looks like some of them are determined to make that clear by burning down our buildings.”

“I hope that’s not what was behind what happened at Notre-Dame Cathedral,” he added.

2. Trump? Or Kim Jong Un. Who would be better as leader

3. Sudanese protesters participate in Friday prayer in front of army HQ

4. Surge in Muslim migration sees spike in attacks on Christians in France

5. UK: “Devout Muslim” screaming “Allahu akbar” stabs man 6 times in neck, is getting treatment at psychiatric hospital

(From Jihad Watch. Original article here)

“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)

“The court heard he is a devout Muslim who prays 15 times a day after he converted to Islam on his 20th birthday while in prison. He is being treated at Ashworth high-security psychiatric hospital in Merseyside…”

How “Islamophobic” of British authorities, to treat devoutness in Islam and obedience to the commands of the Qur’an as if it were mental illness. Will Islamic groups in the UK complain?

Note also this: “The following month he threatened two men in a takeaway pizza shop in Slough, Berkshire, with a large kitchen knife and said to them ‘Can I kill you now?’ and ‘You are not Muslims.’”

Where did Ahmad Ibn Abdillah get the idea that he could kill non-Muslims but not Muslims? Could it have been from the Qur’an, which forbids Muslims to kill fellow Muslims (4:92) but commands Muslims to kill non-Muslims (2:191, 4:89, 9:5)? And who taught this young convert about the Qur’an and Islam? Is anyone in Britain investigating that, or are the implications of the question too ominous, such that they’re waving away such inquiries with the all-purpose dodge that he was “radicalized on the Internet”?

Dan Park speech in Malmo from 2015 at PEGIDA Rally

I am restoring this speech because Dan was beaten up today apparently kicked while on the ground, by what are described by witnesses as, “Leftist Fascists”.

June 2017: Muslims go on desecration and destruction spree in Philippine Church

After Notre Dame, whoever or whatever caused that fire, the determination of muslims to obliterate all other religions, and in the West, primarily Christianity is clear. The entire Government-media complex attempt to cover for it, to deny, mistranslate and otherwise attempt to prevent the public from knowing what Islam intends for us, and our cultures and legal systems cannot be successful.

So I am restoring what videos I can find of Islamic desecrations, arson attacks and attacks on any place of worship, or site of religious significance that has taken place since the recent new jihad against the West.

German Comedian Loses Case Against Merkel over Anti-Erdogan Poem

Just in case you forgot that for the second time in a hundred years, Germany has fallen to leftist totalitarians who decide what you can say, laugh at, and criticize.

From Breitbart:

A Berlin court has dismissed a lawsuit from comedian Jan Böhmermann who attempted to ban German Chancellor Angela Merkel from criticising a poem insulting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.

The poem, which was published in 2016 on the television programme Neo Magazine Royale hosted by the left-wing comedian, was labelled as “insulting” and “deliberately hurtful” by the German chancellor, Die Welt reports.

The broadcast also nearly led to charges being laid on Böhmermann that could have seen him spend five years in prison for insulting a foreign head of state.

The actual poem aired on German TV:

Spain moves the goal posts left, Facebook tells you who you are not allowed to compliment: Links 1, April 18, 2019

1. Spain bans only non-far leftist party, VOX, from TV debate.
It likely won’t be long till Social media bans them as well, and I think we can all bet odds that Social media has rigged the game against them already.

2. Electrical short-circuit is believed to have started Notre Dame blaze, investigators believe

Investigators believe an ‘electrical short circuit’ was responsible for starting the blaze which devastated Notre Dame cathedral this week.

A French judicial police official said investigators brought in to work out the cause of the inferno made the claims – despite them not having been given access to the church yet for safety reasons.

The official, who spoke anonymously about the ongoing investigation, said the monument is still being consolidated with wooden planks to support some fragile parts of the walls.

Only after it is fully made safe will investigators will be allowed a closer look in order to accurately determine the cause of the fire.

One of the architects of the renovations, who retired in 2010, might disagree.

6. Facebook bans UK far right groups and leaders

(How much more totalitarian-communist can Facebook go?)

Facebook has imposed a ban on a dozen far-right individuals and organisations that it says “spread hate”.

The ban includes the British National Party and Nick Griffin, the English Defence League and the National Front.

The list also includes Britain First, which was already banned, but this latest action will prohibit support for it on any of the US firm’s services.

It said it had taken the action because those involved had proclaimed a “violent or hateful mission”. […]

In addition, praise and support for the groups or named individuals would no longer be allowed.

(Close any Facebook or Instagram accounts you have now, or at least use them against Facebook and its clear mission to force an end to Western democracies.)

7. Canadian sentenced to life in prison for US airport attack

(Because Canadians are always running over to the US and stabbing security personnel or otherwise attacking airports and yelling Allah hu ackbar. Its just the Canadian thing to do. I bet he was smuggling in a bunch of maple syrup at the same time)

A Canadian man convicted of terrorism for nearly killing a Michigan police officer while yelling God is great in Arabic was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday, after boldly declaring that he only regretted not having a machine gun during the knife attack.

Amor Ftouhis statements stunned U.S. District Judge Matthew Leitman, who said hed been wrestling very hard with a decision about whether to allow the Tunisia native a chance to someday be released from prison.

Leitman said the remarks persuaded me beyond any shadow of a doubt that a life term was appropriate for the 51-year-old Ftouhi, who moved to Montreal in 2007.

He was crystal clear today: If he had the opportunity to kill more people, he would, the judge said.

Ftouhi drove 1,000 miles (1,609 kilometers) from Montreal to the airport in Flint, Michigan, where he repeatedly stabbed Lt. Jeff Neville in the neck in June 2017.

(ABC is contemptible for translating Allah hu Ackbar, which is undoubtedly what the man said, as “God is Great” in English. Clearly a deflection from the Islamic intent of the attack)

Thank you Xanthippa, Richard, M, Wrath of Khan, EB., and a lot of new people as well, who are making the effort to help wash the sleep out of the eyes of the rest of us. Lets hope we get to enough in time.

Video on restrictions in the Catholic Church against Pope Benedict’s writings

I am really hoping that people familiar with Catholicism and its inner workings can write on this video in the comments. I have no idea if any of this is true or not.

What I do know is the following:

Pope Benedict set up and guaranteed the largest canonization in Catholic Church history. It was the mass-canonization of soldiers who fought against Islamic Invaders of Europe and chose to be killed by the muslim pirates of the 15th century, rather than convert to Islam.

Trying to google this gives narrative versions of the events but that is what happened.

Pope Benedict set up the canonization and left Francis with the job of finishing it which he did after sanitizing the language so that no mention of the real reason these men died could be mentioned. And had Benedict not mysteriously abdicated his role for the PoMo Pope, Francis, he would have finished this ceremony properly.

We can safely say he would have, because in another speech where he quoted a Persian king, that was under siege by Mohammed’s armies in a speech he gave, which became for some unknown reason, a major controversy in his reign as Pope, even though it was an accurate quote, and the context made sense.

But we don’t live in a world of truth. We live in a world of “hate-facts” where truth will set you to a reeducation camp of one sort of another.

So if anyone knows more about the subject matter of this video or of the rest of this post, I welcome it in the comments.
