After lengthy conversations with experts on privacy and technology, it appears that the initial apps developed for this purpose, were totally fine. They had been checked by some of the world’s top hackers and showed no sign of being useful for government control. These hackers were known to be especially sensitive to that sort of thing as well.

But not all apps are safe that way. The Canadian one for instance, as posed on this site some days ago, is not fit for a free people. And it looks like the concept itself has moved from its initial purpose, which was arguably a good one when we were expecting to see bodies on the street and hospitals overflowing with Covid sick and dead.

At this point however lesson learned.

Never give up any freedoms for a good reason for our own good. Because there will ALWAYS be a good reason for our own good that government needs to take our freedoms. And so far, most of them look like bulls**t in order to create more state control.

Freedom is nothing more than our individual rights to do our own risk assessment. This goes for gun ownership to taking a vaccine. And a society that forces us all to own guns, like Switzerland was for a long time, even if it doesn’t anymore, will be a more functional and free society than one which forces say, how you apply sex differentiation pronouns.
