Perhaps it is time people stop relegating Dear Leader to the confines of low-brow name calling such as idiot, petty tyrant, Soros-led sycophant, spoiled brat, brainless airhead, and power-hungry CCP ass-licking retard. (I, myself, would not dream of using such crudities.)
No, this pandemic is giving him the opportunity to spread his wings to become the man his father only dreamed of becoming–more than just a Nazi sympathizer. Where is our representation? Why must resistance come from the grassroots and not the parliamentary opposition? Besides a handful of elected representatives showing some integrity, our politicians are anemic. Where is Maxime Bernier beyond Twitter?
Dear Leader bought and paid for our MSM. He is effectively squelching free speech. The majority of the people and companies are now on his corona payroll (except The Rebel, VTB and all other independent-minded outlets.) The people are thoroughly socialized in the sense that they have been as nationalized as much as any privately-owned company can be bought out by the Fed. And viral mutations, not to mention the likely release of new bio-weapons now that the CCP has seen their effectiveness, will allow him to consolidate power in the next round of our “new normal”. Look for a suspension of the next federal election under the guise of public safety, initiated by Theresa Tam, buck-passed by Dear Leader.
Little by little, step by step. The police are on board because they want a paycheck. Everyone needs a paycheck. But what is the relevance to public health when the cops bust down your door somewhere in Newfoundland and proceed to go through the books on your shelves? That’s the kicker, see.
Now Dear Leader is using this to look for crimes of the mind.
Dystopia is not sovereign from the United States of America, despite illusions of such. The appearance of autonomy is an American grace. How long will she ignore what is going on up north?
My guess is that we will ignore what is happening until we see an urgent threat to our national security. Canada has become a major battlefield between China and the US, they are seeking to turn Canada (and the rest of the world) into a client State where they decide what is done and how it is done. If the Canadians are unable to remove this Communist/Fascist government once it becomes an urgent threat to our National Security we will have to act.
If you are correct (I think you are) and Trudeau “temporally suspends” the next election (like a lot of Dems want to do in the US, they want the Propaganda Advantage that would give them) he will remian in power and the next election will be held once he dies and then it will be an election in the Labor Party only the ordinary people will have no say about who will govern Canada.
Actions like this in Canada are why it is vital that Trump is re-elected in November and that we find some one like him to elect in 2024.
The US has had one President for LIfe (FDR) in our history I don’t know enough about Canadian History to know if this is your first President for Life or not. If it is as young as he is you will have a hard time removing him.
Canada has imported a huge new voter base that’s changed the electoral equation. Maybe elections will become a “safe” for the Enemy. No need to call them off.
I worry about us heading in that direction, but our electoral system gives us somewhat more protection than Canada’s.
The electoral college saved the world last time around. It was a genius concept.
The Founding Fathers and the Members of the Constitutional Convention were the best in their states, all of them were very smart. They looked at history and tried to block all of the past power grabs by politicians. For a wile it looked like the Left had found a way around the Constitution but as you said the Electoral Collage saved us. Hopefully it will save us again in 2020 and in2024.I shudder to think about how close the Left came to seizing total power in the US.
I pray our Canadian Brothers and Sisters find a way to regain their freedom without the US having to intervene.

There’s only so long we can tolerate a ChiCom puppet on our longest border.

Something has to be done and I am afraid it will include the US having to move in and regime change Canada. I know there are a lot of Canadians who want Canada to join the US but I don’t think they want us to use the military to conquer them.
Where is our representation? Why must resistance come from the grassroots and not the parliamentary opposition?
Your elected Representatives need a leader, that is why were wasn’t a violent revolution to over throw Obama when he was busy destroying the US traditions and physical infrastructure. We got lucky and Trump decided that he had to lose a sizeable fortune by running for President and serving 8 years to preserve the United States. We found out leader but you haven’t found yours, I pray that you will find yours and regain your freedom before JT grows to become a large enough threat we are forced to move. Fidel Castro is burning in hell but at times laughing at the success his bastard son is having in carrying the communist revolution to the mainland of North America.
