  1. Note how it is the Dem controlled states where the Governors are acting like petty Dictators. The Dems are so blind to what the people are thinking and feeling they don’t realize how close the entire world is to civil wars.

    • Richard, could this an example of politicians and bureaucrats using regulations, instead of laws, to suppress and destroy rights?

      • You got it, last Century the left discovered that they could get legislatures and executive branches to shift a lot of their jobs over to bureaucrats who would then write regulations which the left could then get activists Judges to say were legal. Going through the leftislature was lengthy, costly and iffy, Politicians tend to shy away from controversial issues which might piss off enouigh voters to cause them to lose an election.

From their actions some of the leftists in Executive positions (or their handlers) have decided that a large enough percentage of the population has been beaten down far enough they can stop acting like they are concerned about the common people and their rights and start actling like the Dictators they have always wanted to be.

If you don’t have a bug out bag packed and an E&E route(s) picked out you need to do this ASAP. All of the indications are that this summer or this winter the left is going to start disappearing the people who are opposing them. I can’t think of any nation that I have decent or semi decent knowledge of that isn’t on the verge of massive violence. Either internal, external or both, but massive violence. It won’t be large unit actions but asymmetric war with the usual terror attacks. People who are openly against big government will all be targets as will populists and (US style) Conservative politicians and media opinion writers. Down here I am betting on the Patriot Base of the country winning, I don’t know the opinion of the ordinary Canadians so I can’t make a prediction on who will win.

        • Maybe for the survival of the Nation, the House of Un-American Activities Committee should be revived.

          • The Dems control the House and there aren’t enough Repubs in the Senate with balls enough to start one in their Chamber.

  2. I can’t help but think that this video relates to the one that is posted below it. If the President’s men face abuse and kangaroo courts, then that empowers abusers to exercise their new-found superpowers.

We have travel bans (more or less) on travel to Cuba and to N. Korea. What would have happened if the Illinois Governor’s wife had taken a jaunt south of Florida? Would the Governor consider it improper to question?

Here’s an old example, when the press asked and when the politician squirmed. https://www.nytimes.com/1995/05/04/us/ex-worker-rattles-gov-wilson-on-immigration-stand.html Gov. Pete Wilson, who has said he will make strict immigration controls a major campaign issue if he runs for President next year, once hired a Mexican house worker in the late 1970’s who now says she was an illegal alien at the time. – Mr. Wilson, who was then Mayor of San Diego, also failed to withhold and pay to the Government the woman’s Social Security taxes, as required by Federal law.

In statements issued today, in response to reporters’ questions, the Governor and his legal aides said he did not know that the employee, Josefina Klag of Tijuana, had no immigration documents when he and his wife, Betty, whom he has since divorced, hired her as a maid in 1978 for $25 a day. – In any event, the statements added, it was not until 1986 that Federal law required an employer to verify an employee’s legal status. Further, they said, the actual hiring and paying was done by Mr. Wilson’s wife.
