Nigerian Muslim group slaughters 20 young women

Maiduguri– Friday, about a day after 10 men were killed in Maiduguri, at least 20 women, some clad in mini-skirts and others in slacks, were slaughtered in their Maiduguri homes and college dormitories.

While members of the Boko Haram terrorist organizationare suspected of committing the heinous terrorist acts, police have not confirmed the identities nor arrested any suspects.

Members of the radical Islamic terrorist group believe Western education is sinful. The group is a jihadist militant organization based in northeast Nigeria that violently opposes man-made laws and modern science, according to an allafrica.com report.

Friday, the Nigerian Joint Task Force, Operation ‘Restore Order,’ placed a bounty on suspected terrorists and members of Boko Haram.

The new execution-style violence is different than other recent killings conducted by Boko Haram Muslims in that it targeted women only. Authorities believe the women may have been slaughtered due to dressing in Western style.

The deadly sect says it has put its house in order for more attacks

Gunmen, early Monday, attacked the headquarters of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in Abuja leading to a shootout for many hours.

The men are believed to be members of the Boko Haram  sect who attempted to free their members being held by the police.

PREMIUM TIMES learnt that the attack was repelled by the police. No casualty was reported.

The daring attack came less than 24 hours after suspected Boko Haram members detonated explosives at a church in a major military training compound in Jaji, Kaduna State.

A man, who claimed to be a senior member of the sect told PREMIUM TIMES, Monday, that “we (the group) have put our house in order and Nigerians have not seen anything yet.”

Also, read the comments at that site. They may seem spookily familiar. Political correctness and selective enforcement seems to be an issue in Africa as well as Europe. One feels an instant kinship with the Christians and secularists of Nigeria when you read them.

White House Deleted Al Qaeda From CIA Talking Points

Senior Republican members of Congress confirmed Sunday that the Obama administration changed CIA guidance to senior officials that had identified the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi as an al Qaeda attack.

“The intelligence community had it right, and they had it right early,” said chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Rep. Mike Rogers (R., Mich.).

The CIA “talking points” on Benghazi initially identified the attackers as al Qaeda or al Qaeda-linked terrorists but senior administration officials removed the reference, Rogers said on NBC’s Meet the Press.

AFP – Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has urged Egyptians to restart their revolution to press for Islamic law and called on Muslims to kidnap Westerners, the SITE Intelligence Group said Friday.

In a video released on jihadist forums and translated by the US monitoring service, Zawahiri also lashed out at President Barack Obama, calling him a liar and demanding he admit defeat in Iraq, Afghanistan and North Africa.

Criticizing the new Egyptian government — led by a president drawn from the Muslim Brotherhood — as corrupt, he said a battle is being waged in Egypt between a secular minority and Muslims seeking implementation of Shariah law.

FRANCE 24 journalist (sexually) assaulted in Cairo

Sooner or later we, the Western world, are going to have to have a chat with ourselves about our values, what they mean to us and whether or not we are ready to defend them.

The Western world likes to pretend that men and women are equal in all ways as opposed to equal before the law, which is a rational, not to mention actionable, way to look at reality.

The Muslims of course, have their own version of what women’s rights are and this is evidenced by what you see wherever Islam has the whip hand no matter what Muslims tell you when they are trying to seem liberal for the purpose of rhetorical attack or defense.

Western news agencies continue to send women to cover events at Tahrir Square despite the multiple rapes and various forms of gang-sexual-assault on female reporters because they have to. If they send men instead, then the savages win in a sense. They have forced us to submit to the reality of Islamic views of women despite our insistence that the risk or danger is the same for both, or perhaps more importantly, that women may be able to sue a news organization for discrimination if they are not sent because they are women and at greater risk. At the end of the day, we have some things to sort out on our own before we can start enforcing policies. Women’s groups really should start writing policy in terms of home and abroad rights and responsibilities as well.

The time for dealing with reality is now. Islam and it’s fictions and violence are forcing us to deal with our own fictions. We cannot put up a decent fight till we are aware of them and ready to revise them or fight for them.

FRANCE 24 journalist Sonia Dridi filed a police complaint with Egyptian police on Saturday, a day after she was assaulted while reporting on a protest in the capital Cairo’s Tahrir Square.

Dridi had just finished giving a live news report at around 10:30pm on Friday for FRANCE 24’s French language television when a crowd of men teemed around her, shoving and grabbing at her body.

“I was surrounded by my team, so I didn’t feel like I was in any particular danger,” Dridi told FRANCE 24 in a televised interview, saying that the camera crew had attracted a crowd of curious bystanders. “I was able to do my live report but at the end of it the atmosphere was really tense.”

“The crowd encircled us…It was mostly young men, but not only. They started to touch me and I held onto my colleague, who tried to reassure me and hold my attention so we could get out of the crowd as fast as possible,” Dridi added.

35 killed in Nigeria violence

Abuja: More than 35 people were killed overnight following a series of bomb blasts in the northeastern Nigeria by the radical Islamist sect known as Boko Haram.

In Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, multiple bombing that rocked the city on Monday killed 10 civilians while in Benue state, herdsmen believed to belong to Fulani community killed 25 persons in Yogbo.

Eyewitnesses said those killed in Benue were mostly children and women. Residents of the town said more than sixteen explosions punctuated by gunfire echoed Maiduguri, Boko Haram’s home state.

In his book ‘Inside Al Qaeda and the Taliban’, slain journalist Syed Saleem Shehzad who spent considerable part of his research with al Qaeda militants, described comprehensively the formation of the new al Qaeda players and their strategic objectives in the lawless FATA region of Pakistan after the crippling defeat of the Taliban and al Qaeda in 2001.

He magnificently illustrates this al Qaeda strategy in well-crafted 3 points:

  • The re-grouping of its militant structure and development of a battle strategy against the Pakistan Army and Nato Forces in Afghanistan
  • Conduct peace deals with the Pakistan Army and used the breathing space to strengthen its struggle against the United States
  • Extending the war into Pakistan, and from there strategising and launching the war from central Asian Republics to India for the sole purpose of defeating the Nato forces in Afghanistan.

In order to achieve this strategy, al Qaeda annihilated the centuries-old Pakistani tribal structure and traditions by killing thousands of tribal elders as well as clerics and launched a new generation of militants. However during this time Al Qaeda’s objectives were constantly under assault because mostly whenever a new leader was nominated and trained, he was eradicated by the formidable drone. This notorious drone is known to have successfully struck down not only the key al Qaeda and Taliban operatives but also fugitives responsible for hijacking of Pan American World Airways Flight 73 and 1998 United States Embassy Bombings.

According to The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, since the outset, there have been a total of 349 drone strikes in Pakistan to date, killing approximately 3300 people of which 500-800 are estimated to be civilians and this estimation has also been credited by the Stanford/NYU Clinics in ‘Living Under Drones’, a recent report heavily critical of the drones which was commissioned by London-based charity Reprieve that represents Guantanamo Bay prisoners .

Gunmen kill 20 at mosque in northern Nigeria.

KADUNA (Reuters) – Gunmen opened fire on Muslim worshippers as they were leaving a mosque in northern Nigeria on Sunday, killing at least 20 people, a local official said.

The attack happened in a remote village called Dogo Dawa, in Kaduna state, said Abdullahi Muhammad, the traditional ruler and councillor of Birnin Gwari, a local government area next door to the village.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. Like much of northern Nigeria, Kaduna is plagued by an insurgency led by radical Islamist sect Boko Haram. They usually attack security forces, government officials or Christians, but have hit Muslim clerics and mosques in the past, especially ones that do not follow their hardline brand of Islam.

Kaduna also lies close to Nigeria’s volatile “Middle Belt”, where Nigeria’s mostly Muslim north and largely Christian south meet, and where tensions over land and ethnicity often erupt into violence.

I guess all that apologizing by Obama really didn’t help. Well I can offer a hint should Mr. Obama desire it.

Even a full on surrender to Islam and conversion won’t stop these events. Because Islam knows when it loses. But it can’t possibly know when it wins. Because when the only guaranteed way into Mohamed’s beer-and-brothel afterlife is dying in the way of jihad, how can you possibly stop fighting?

CAIRO – The leader of Al-Qaida has urged Muslims to wage holy war against the United States and Israel over a film that insulted Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

Ayman al-Zawahri praised as “honest and zealous” demonstrators who breached the U.S Embassy in Cairo and attackers who stormed the U.S. “embassy” in Benghazi in violence linked to the film. The American ambassador and three others died in the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in the Libyan city.

The amateur film “Innocence of Muslims” was made by an Egyptian-born American citizen.

Nigeria church bombed in Bauchi, Boko Haram flashpoint

A suicide bomber has attacked a church in northern Nigeria , killing at least two people and injuring 48, according to the Red Cross.

Witnesses at the scene in the city of Bauchi said they heard a blast near St John’s Church, possibly in a car park.

Bauchi has often been targeted by the Islamist Boko Haram group, which wants to impose Sharia law across Nigeria.

Sunday attacks on churches took place regularly earlier this year but had eased in recent months.

Attacks in central and northern Nigeria blamed on Boko Haram have killed some 1,400 people since 2010.

On 16 September, Nigerian security forces said they killed Boko Haram’s spokesman Abu Qaqa in a gun battle.

However, the group has not confirmed his death.
