Increasing Number of Dutch Jihadists

The Dutch Intelligence Service (AIVD) mentions in its annual report that the number of Dutchmen who travel to troubled areas to participate in the “Jihad” has increased. A number of them have traveled to Afghanistan to participate in Jihadist activities. Dutch Jihadists have also succeeded in developing contacts with key people in international jihad networks. In addition, Dutch authorities have prevented a number of potential jihadists from leaving the country.

329 YEAR OLD CARTOON IN DUTCH MUSEUM ANGERS TURKS, RIJKSMUSEUM ‘DISTANCES’ ITSELF FROM THE DRAWING

File this one under “Whining Muslims”.

You see, no Muslim or anything Islamic can be seen in a less than flattering light, for long,  especially by the hand of a non-Muslim. This is a sharia based concept. What the Dutch museum should have done, was to tell the whining Turks that it’s part of history and will remain in the exhibit, and grow up. Remember folks, the Turks are the ones who are saying that they are ready to join Europe, and then prove themselves not to be ready, if ever.

NOTE: Mehmed IV was from 1648 to 1687 the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. His reign of the Turkish Empire was a short, abruptly coming to an end with the battle of Vienna.  The koran is seen lying on the floor at the foot of the bed next to the portable ‘royal commode’.

Rijksmuseum Distances Itself from Its Islam Cartoon

MSTERDAM, 12/04/12 – The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is distancing itself “from the significance” of a cartoon from 1683 which it is currently exhibiting. A furore arose in Turkish media.

The print shows the Ottoman sultan lying sick in bed after losing a pitched battle by Vienna. A remarkable detail is that the royal commode is beside the bed with the Koran next to it as toilet paper. Such prints were popular in Europe after the Ottoman defeat in the siege of Vienna.

Wim Pijbes, director of the Rijksmuseum, has meanwhile placed an explanatory text beside the print. This says that such a print is part of the full picture that the museum wants to give of 400 years of Turkish – Dutch relations, but that “this does not mean that the Rijksmuseum endorses the meaning of the print.” Pijbels says the text was necessary to prevent escalation.

I would just like to thank all the forces in history from the ancient Greeks to now, that have conspired to allow this moment to happen.

Unless I am mistaken, this is a first of sorts. But even if not, it is a truly beautiful thing nonetheless. It is a product of the enlightenment. A dream of Leonardo Davinci. A testament to what is best in the human conditions of both determination, frivolity and the courage to dream. Perhaps I am making too much of this, but these are the sorts of things I have lived for since being a child. Portable phones with video. Landing on the moon! And human powered flight.

THE HAGUE\BERLIN – A Dutch public broadcasting network last month offered its viewers a board game featuring Israeli settlers who use “Jewish stinginess” and “the Anne Frank card” to colonize the West Bank.

Organizations combating anti-Semitism have called on the Dutch government to persuade the network, VPRO, to halt the downloading of the board game.

Muslim cleric Haitham al-Haddad or British-Palestinian extraction is part of a debate in Holland along with several other people I have yet to identify. I have excerpted a segment of that debate below along with a brief interview with him on his position on Jewish people but the whole debate can be seen here.

What I found immediately interesting is how in both clips he attempts to deny things everyone can clearly read that he had said from his own pen or reported from his own mouth. I wonder how much longer he, and so very many like him can continue to get away with this. If a person not wearing a nightgown were to say these things he would go to jail.

Muslim Party Seeks Power In Dutch Parliament

The Dutch Muslim Party has announced plans to seek seats in the Dutch Parliament. The party already has a hold in regional governments in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and other Dutch cities.

 

 

The Partij Voor Moslim Nederland (Party for Muslim Netherlands), as it calls itself when it is not referring to itself as The Dutch Muslim Party (note the strong differences in meaning), campaigns on an anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, and anti-discrimination platform. It hopes to take part in Parliamentary elections in 2015. Among its principles:

  1. Criminalization of blasphemy
  2. Free speech within limitations:  speech that can be seen as insulting or offensive on religious grounds will be prosecuted.
  3. Damage or destruction of holy texts for any religion to be criminalized by law.
  4. Members of the party can also be non-Muslims.
  5. Women and men are to be seen as equal under the law.
  6. The party is to be based on the Islamic principle of Shura
  7. All troops must be withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan
  8. Turkey must immediately be made a member of the EU
  9. Support to Israel must be stopped
  10. Zero-tolerance for all drugs, including marijuana (currently tolerated under Dutch law)
  11. No bans shall be set against the current practice of importing poorly-educated women as brides for Dutch Muslim men

A new pamphlet outlining the party’s vision is to be published by the end of this month.

Yes I like that at least it is an attempt to mitigate the suicidal disaster immigration to Western nations has become. But I find it misguided and in a way, another manifestation of the problem it tries to address.

Essentially what happened was sometime, at least in Canada in the 1960’s we decided to cheapen our citizenship by reducing the criteria to come to Canada dramatically, as well as the criteria for citizenship once here. For example, in the 1950s, a person had to have the skills required to come, and certainly be squeaky clean the whole time they where here if they hoped to get actual citizenship status but that citizenship was solid. It was, as it should be, non-revocable. In this video, it appears as if they plan to cheapen citizenship in some other way by not addressing the problem and making it revocable.

I believe the vetting should be done first. Know who the person is, make the criteria reasonable and difficult so that you know the people who become new citizens are going to be and already are contributors to your nation both economically but also are culturally miscible. A nation, which is at least psychologically a sort of extended tribe, has not just a right to determine criteria for membership but a sacred responsibility to the members of that ‘super-tribe’ for lack of another term. We certainly can debate what those criteria are and mistakes will be made, but letting in millions of people who’s root-culture is one of conquest, barbarism and destruction of the host culture would be outside anyone’s criteria. After all, what does it take to become a Saudi citizen? Do they even allow immigration of any kind at all? This makes them at least in some ways, a tad smarter than us.

 

In fairness, the parts left untranslated from Dutch may actually state the PVV position very well as Geert tends to do in all things so far.

Interview Series: Netherlands Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs says, “I don’t go to bed anymore without putting the alarm on.”

“People often insult me in public. It can happen almost anywhere, such as at the train station in Rotterdam or in the center of Amersfoort, the town where I live. For instance, someone may shout at me ‘Yehoud’ — a negative term for a Jew in Arabic. When I walked home from our synagogue a few years ago, a child of about 10 years old shouted out ‘Dirty stinking Jew.’

“At train stations where a lot of youngsters hang out, I am almost always insulted. These shouts do not only come from non-Western immigrants, but from native Dutchmen as well. If I go to the synagogue on Saturday afternoon I am shouted at not only at the mosque but also near the hockey-field.”

Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs is head of the IPOR — the Rabbinate for the Jewish communities outside of Amsterdam — and also the Rabbi of the Sinai Center, the only Jewish psychiatric hospital in Europe. He has been interviewed by several Dutch media on the anti-Semitism he experiences and by Arutz Sheva in the past..

“I perceive that the aggression against Jews who are recognizable by their dress has increased greatly. On the other hand, there is also an increase in sympathy toward us. When I enter a train, someone may just shake my hand and say ‘Shalom’ or something positive about Jews and Israel.

“Developments in the Netherlands are worrisome. Whenever something dramatic happens in Israel, people start shouting at you ‘Israel’ or ‘Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the Gas.’ Once I had a very shocking experience. A non-Jewish psychologist and I entered a train full of Feyenoord soccer fans. They started to chant: ‘Jews to the gas.’ I had the feeling that this whole train of ‘ordinary Dutchmen’ was against us.

Even so, Irshad is most definitely inventing her own religion when she preaches Islam as accepting of liberated, willful female homosexuals. I do agree with her on one thing though. She does have great faith. As faith is not just belief in the absence of evidence but belief in the presence of abundant evidence to the contrary, her faith must be profound.

Moroccan Crime in the Netherlands & the Myths of Multiculturalism

Forty percent of Moroccan immigrants in the Netherlands between the ages of 12 and 24 have been arrested, fined, charged or otherwise accused of committing a crime during the past five years, according to a new report commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Interior.

In Dutch neighborhoods where the majority of residents are Moroccan immigrants, the youth crime rate reaches 50%. Moreover, juvenile delinquency among Moroccans is not limited to males; girls and young women are increasingly involved in criminal activities.

The “Dutch-Moroccan Monitor 2011” also reveals that most of the Moroccan youth involved in criminal activities were born in Holland. This implies that the children of Moroccan immigrants are not integrating into Dutch society, and confirms that the Netherlands is paying dearly for its failed multicultural approach to immigration.    Multi

The report, which was produced by the Rotterdam Institute for Social Policy Research (Risbo) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, examines the extent and nature of crime among the Dutch-Moroccan population in 22 municipalities in the Netherlands. The data were taken from the Herkenningsdienstsysteem (HKS), a nationwide database where the Dutch police register criminal suspects.

So who is to blame for the failure of Moroccans to integrate into Dutch society and the attendant epidemic of Moroccan youth criminality?

According to Dutch journalist Fleur Jurgens in her book, “The Moroccan Drama” (Het Marokkanendrama), the blame lies with two groups: the Moroccans, who say the Dutch are responsible for their circumstances, and leftwing multiculturalists, who have portrayed Moroccans as the defenseless victims of an unfair society.

GEERT WILDERS’ PVV TAKES ON IRAN, KORTENOEVEN: THE NEED TO CUT RELATIONS WITH THE AYATOLLAHS

This party has clear cut morality and the backbone to go with it. Geert Wilders’ party the PVV are moral trail blazers, not only in sticking up for liberal democracy in the face of totalitarian Islam, ripping the mask off the corrupt  undemocratic EU, but also in calling a spade a spade where totalitarian regimes are concerned. Iran is a chief promoter of the destruction (read = genocide) of Israel, and needs to be relegated to rogue state status with all diplomatic contacts with it, terminated.

The PVV understands that, and with the voice of Wim Kortenoeven, -who provided his own personal experiences in confronting Iran at a recent meeting of the OSCE, in an exclusive here at the Tundra Tabloids– the Dutch are taking on the Iranian regime. Kudos to the Dutch PVV, hopefully your steadfast display of moral clarity in confronting evil, will cause the rest of Europe stand up and be counted. KGS

There the free West effectively turned its back on the Jews, making nice statements but offering nothing substantial to save them, and bluntly refusing to go to the hilt in stopping the Nazi menace.

The similarity is very disturbing and very real.”

Holland takes tough stance against Iran

‘The Iranian threat to annihilate 6 million Jews is an Auschwitz in the making,’ Party of Freedom official says.

BERLIN – A parliamentary resolution last week against Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons contributed to the Dutch Foreign Ministry embracing what appears to be the strongest European position toward ratcheting up the pressure on Tehran’s leaders.

Wim Kortenoeven, a deputy from the Party for Freedom, told The Jerusalem Post in a telephone interview from The Hague on Friday that his party had worked to pass a potent measure.

“Now for the practical execution of our resolution, which was unanimously supported in parliament. The foreign minister should be in the forefront of demanding the most forceful sanctions. And he is doing that. There is still a window of opportunity. There seems to be a willingness in Europe to go far in the sanctions and even to follow the initiatives of the US Congress.

But at the same time there seems to be a reluctance on the part of the US government where it concerns targeting the Iranian Central Bank. And boycotting that entity is probably the key for our success,” Kortenoeven said.
