Violence in Egyptian streets grows till it resembles a Saudi wedding

Thanks for keeping us up to speed Martin

The fireworks starting at about 1:20 is the highlight of this one.

Wadayagonna bet that now no one will be able to buy fireworks.

Below: Everything on fire.

Attempted kidnapping of two women

This is interesting viewing. Major stand off between the nicely equipped police and what look like fairly well regimented secularists with makeshift rock shields out of corrugated steel or tin. People are wearing rock-protect-head-gear reminiscent of the heady days of Tahrir Sq. when the revolution that ousted Mubarak brought them the Ikhwan.

Seriously escalating violence in the streets. This is bordering on the surreal. Even for Egypt as of late. Once again, thoughts wishes and hopes for the secularists. And how wonderful that somewhere in the world there are people brave enough to stand up to the Islamic fascists that would obliterate everything of value in human existence. We, the readers of this site, all have a dog in this fight. The supporters of this site know who that dog is. May the Ikhwan be defeated, crushed and treated every bit as harshly as they would treat us if they succeed and may Egypt know its full potential as an enlightened state after that. Below, people are robbing firetrucks of their axes and other potential weapons

The video below is chaotic even for war. The google translation of this clip says that its “war in front of the federal palace” and goes on to say, “The streets either short war between federal forces civil opposition to the policies of Mohamed Morsi, between his militia that carried out the attack on peaceful demonstrators, carrying cartridge and live bullets and Almlotov and rebels responded with brick”

At 45 seconds, someone fires a gun from behind the makeshift shields

According to the news, this demo is called, ‘Morsi’s last warning’. Lets hope he doesn’t heed it and the secular mob crushes Ikhwan for good.

More chaos and pandemonium. Live rounds, shotgun shells found

Fireworks and Molotov’s ignite violence at presidential palace:

This is today, basically now in Egypt

Tahrir Sq:

The video below is less interesting than the translation of the caption which reads,

“Atmosphere of pre-engagement in the vicinity of “federal” ”

I would suspect this might mean that there is a general feeling of impending conflict in front of ‘Federal’ which I assume means a main legislative building. Forgive the inherent seeming contradiction here but may god be with the secularists on this one.

In this newest video Magic Martin sent, which only has 10 views at this time so it is likely very recent, full scale rioting has indeed broken out as predicted in the earlier video

Morsi leaves through back door as Egypt protesters surround palace

Egypt’s presidential palace was encircled by anti-Muslim Brotherhood protesters in a violent demonstration in Cairo, as the constitutional crisis caused by Mohammed Morsi’s assumption of unchallengeable powers showed no sign of abating.

Paralysed by political correctness, the West looks on as Egypt and Syria follow Iran into Islamofascism

The Telegraph:

Why be content with just one Iran when you can have two? Egypt shows every sign of developing quickly into another Islamofascist regime. Egyptian judges have gone on strike because President Morsi has ascribed to himself something resembling absolute power, more control than even the hated and deposed “Western puppet” Mubarak ever had. Naturally, he is supported by the Muslim Brotherhood and assorted Salafists who look to the establishment of an Islamic republic resembling that of the Ayatollahs in Iran.

Oh dear, it wasn’t meant to turn out like this at all! When the Egyptian uprising began almost two years ago, it was cheered on by enthusiastic Western governments and an even more avid Western mass media who saw a brilliant democratic future for Egypt led by all those bright young people orchestrating peaceful revolution on their mobile phones. There were voices here and there – and I am not too shy to mention that this blog was among them – which spoilt the party by predicting the eventual takeover by the Islamists.

Meet “Allah Morsi”

Shariah Law Rules &

Paedophilia legalised in Egypt’s New Constitution

By Assad Elepty (Expat Egyptian Copt)

Immediately after Mubarak was deposed, the prohibition barring the Muslim Brotherhood from participating in politics was lifted. The Brotherhood immediately commenced their acts of deception, they dropped their decades old slogan “ISLAM IS THE SOLUTION” and formed the “FJP” freedom & Justice Party. On face value it appeared a positive move, in reality it was a crafted cunning act of deception, the Islamists definition of FREEDOM & JUSTICE is strictly limited to SHARIAH laws. In essence, their stance is, “we only respect those freedoms and exercise Justice according to Shariah law” not “western style democracy of Freedom and Justice”.

The recent “constitutional declaration” by Egyptian president Morsi has resulted in disgust and uproar in Egyptian society. The new president has put himself above the Law bestowing “ALLAH status upon himself”. Morsi has seized control of all three branches of the government: Executive, Legislative and Judicial, replicating dictators throughout history.

Egyptians reacted with outrage, the 2nd revolution has commenced with massive protests; hundreds of thousands filled major squares in Cairo and other cities. Leftist, liberal, and independent groups called for Friday protests to reject this so-called “constitutional declaration.”

Morsi has cornered himself, he asserts he does not respect the decisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court and has barred them from ruling on the validity of the constitutional panel. His dilemma is he now conveniently chooses to distrust and reject the current legal system of the country, opening the door for the people to likewise disregard the results of the elections which brought him to power, as they were declared by the very same legal system and courts. Dance and songs to support the legitimacy of Sharia

Ironically, according to Islam any music for entertainment is quite strictly forbidden. In fact even in Western Canada where Islam has infected many urban areas quite deeply, many schools are being pressured to allow an exemption for muslim children for music classes. In Ottawa as well, many Muslim students will attend a music class but not participate and demand the right to get a high mark for writing an essay on course material without learning to actually participate in it.

Meanwhile, Salafists lead other muslims here in Cairo in a gay dance

Pro Mursi march in Egypt

I think if there was a Satan and he could write music, it would sound like this pretty much exactly. (Starts at around 1:17) But I can sort of see the appeal. I mean everybody knows the words, right?

Militant Muslims Cutting Out Tongues

Recently on Egyptian TV, Dr. Abdullah Badr, an Al Azhar graduate and professor of Islamic exegesis, proclaimed that a new day has arrived, when there will be absolutely no more toleration for anyone who speaks against Islam—including people who speak against the implementation of Sharia law and its draconian punishments.

Currently on trial for libel and defamation of female Egyptian artist Elham Shahin—whom, among many other derogatory statements, he called a “whore”—an unrepentant Badr, appeared again on TV, and made the following oath:

I have sworn to Allah, that any dog—for that is how Allah described them, for they are like dogs that are constantly panting—that any dog who mocks the Sharia, or mocks Islam, or blames it, we will cut his tongue out,

Legitimacy and law in front of Cairo U today (Google translation of video below)

It seems to me that Obama suggested that the former dictator of Egypt, Mubarak, step down with a small fraction of the current protests. I wonder why he doesn’t suggest Mursi step down with massive violent demonstrations raging all over Egypt this past week?

Egypt, like Iran, now has state rapists.

Egypt’s ruling party is paying gangs of thugs to sexually assault women protesting in Cairo’s Tahrir Square against President Mohamed Morsi, activists said.

They also said the Muslim Brotherhood is paying gangs to beat up men who are taking part in the latest round of protests, which followed a decree by President Morsi to give himself sweeping new powers.

It comes as the Muslim Brotherhood co-ordinated a demonstration today in support of President Mohamed Morsi, who is rushing through a constitution to try to defuse opposition fury over his newly expanded powers.

Muslims Attack Coptic Christians in Egypt After Mass

AINA.Org

(AINA) — Yesterday Muslim Salafis assaulted Christians after Sunday mass, angry that Christians from neighboring villages who have no churches attend mass in the village of Tala, el Fashn, in the Beni Suef Governorate. The pastor of St Georges Church Father Cheroubim Chehab could not go out of church for hours after mass.

Eyewitnesses reported that as Christians left the church, they found a huge mob of mostly young Salafi Muslims waiting for them, armed with batons. The assault lead to 5 Copts being hospitalized after suffering broken limbs, and the torching of two cars which transported the congregation from the other villages.

The pastor of the church contacted the police, asking for help, however, they appeared hours later, only after Dr. Naguib Gabriel, head of the Egyptian Union of Human Rights Organization, complained to the ministry of interior against el Fashn police and told them that no forces appeared in the village, and gave the names of six of the perpetrators and asked whether the police in el Fashn are afraid to arrest them. “I want the whole world to know,” he said, “that a priest and his congregation are presently held captives in their church, afraid of the Salafi Muslims surrounding the church.”

Cheroubim said that he looked from the roof of the church and the mob, from Tala and neighboring villages, was huge. “80% had beards.” He said that he stayed inside the church as he “wanted no friction with the Muslims nor with the angry Copts, who wanted me to take other steps.”

Later in the afternoon high officials from the security and police departments in Beni Suef arrived to the village for a reconciliation meeting, and while they were preparing for the meeting, Muslims went into Coptic homes and attacked the inhabitants. Five were hospitalized.

CAIRO — Large groups of protesters streamed toward the central Tahrir Square on Friday as opponents of President Mohamed Morsi, galvanized and angered by his unexpected and hurried effort to pass Egypt’s new constitution, sought to marshal large numbers of demonstrators for the second time in a week.

Multimedia
The protesters, including leftists, liberals and staunch opponents of Mr. Morsi and his party, the Muslim Brotherhood, have grown into an increasingly assertive opposition bloc in recent days, since Mr. Morsi issued an edict granting himself powers above any court.

On Tuesday, hundreds of thousands of the president’s opponents gathered in Tahrir Square here, denouncing Mr. Morsi as a new dictator and the Muslim Brotherhood as a secretive group, narrowly focused on its own survival.

“Egypt for all Egyptians!” protesters chanted on Friday.
