Edmonton islamic school and gay bashing.

I am going to connect some disparate dots here based on heresy and comments from people I do not know personally.

So I would advise treating this article as just that. Some isolated facts that may or may not be related whatsoever.

But then again they may.

Here is a CTV video about a publicly funded islamic school teaching (surprise surprise surprise) islamic values during school hours by a school teacher on school property and nothing whatsoever will ever be done about it other than a 3-card-monty moving of the teacher in question in order to hang on to the millions of public dollars this school gets.

Today I was in Edmonton for a few hours. At about 8:30 pm, after finishing supper, I was driving westbound on Jasper Avenue near 117th Street.

As I travelled west I noticed on the south side of the street a red car with both its front and rear windows smashed out. There were large signs attached to the car that read “Gay Bashed by Islamic School”. A large crowd had gathered and in addition to several police cars in attendance there was a tow-truck hooking up to the red car getting ready to tow it.

Apparently, the owner had his car towed down to city hall Thursday afternoon and had it on display in front of Edmonton police HQ on Friday morning.  I guess the police couldn’t find any way to shut him up again…

Why were the police so anxious to keep the vandalized car from public view?   What was the police involvement in this gay bashing?   Why was this car parked in front of Edmonton Police HQ Friday morning?  Where was the owner of the car when it was trashed?

Today I was in Edmonton for a few hours. At about 8:30 pm, after finishing supper, I was driving westbound on Jasper Avenue near 117th Street.

I pulled into a driveway and got turned around. I pulled up beside the tow-truck just as the driver was about to get in to the truck. I got the driver’s attention and quickly explained that I was quite interested in the story, that I did some writing and wanted to take a couple of photographs of the car and the signs attached to it. The driver said “no fucking way man, I’m outa here now” I pleaded with him and he ignored me.

I pulled over and got out to get my camera from the trunk. I just had it and the tow-truck driver roared away. I followed him and when he stopped at red lights I took some photographs of the car. This provoked a ridiculous response from the tow-truck driver who screamed at me out his window saying that “I wasn’t allowed to photograph the car as it was “police property now” The driver then sped away and at one point pulled away from me at a very high rate of speed through a residential section with the red car swaying and swerving wildly behind him. I caught up at the next light and took some more photographs. As I was getting in to my car the tow-truck driver had raced through a yellow light leaving me to stopped at the intersection with an Edmonton Police Service cruiser pulled up behind me. The driver had called the police because I was photographing the car, a fact later confirmed by the dispatcher for Double L Towing of Edmonton. The police cruiser waited behind me until the light changed again and by that time the tow-truck was gone. The cruiser did not stop me.

I went back to the area where the car was originally parked. It turns out the car was parked in front of a gay bar called Buddy’s located at 11725b Jasper Avenue.

I started to ask around and no one seemed to eager to explain what happened. A striking facet to my conversations with some of the patrons from Buddy’s, standing outside having cigarettes, was their offered mitigation and excuse of the Muslim vandalism to the car. It was a stunning case of Stockholm Syndrome.

Many of the patrons whispered that they were afraid and didn’t want to make any comments on or off the record.

I also asked the same questions of several Edmonton Police Service officers and they too were very tight lipped. I asked which Islamic school this happened at, they refused to answer. I asked if there had been any charges laid, they refused to answer. I asked as to the identity of the car owner, they refused to answer. A couple of officers told me off the record that the owner of the car had been at a protest near and Islamic school, the protest met with the disapproval of the Muslims who then vandalised the car.

The owner took the car and applied the signs and parked it in front of a popular Edmonton gay bar. The purpose in parking the car in front of the gay bar was to send a message that Muslims will become extremely violent should they disagree with anyone on points of a political and cultural nature. The police removed it as the car “was attracting too much attention”.

The car was towed by Double L Towing, Unit 135, to the Edmonton Police Service vehicle impound yard at 124th Street and Yellowhead Trail. The vehicle is now part of a criminal investigation that the Edmonton police are being very, very tight lipped about.

I am quite interested to hear the details on this case as it unfolds.

I think everyone, including Ezra and his Alta. MLA, all know a few basic facts which reveal this clip to be a sort of veneer of the truth.

1. Islamic schools all teach Islam. There are no Islamic schools that teach post-modern leftism or cultural marxism. Not one. A few governments in Eurasia attempted to forge them and the imams were all killed and occasionally the buildings destroyed. One by a British convert to Islam in fact, who was married to a jihadi.

2. In Islam, hatred of gay people, death to apostates, hatred of Jews, dominance of Christians and all other faiths is central dogma. It cannot be avoided and still have a teaching which is recognizable as Islam. Islam has no spiritually enriching component. It’s cohesion is forged through collective loathing of the ‘hated-other’ and through fear of consequences of leaving the group. (This of course is for religious, not cultural Muslims)

3. Jihad, an armed struggle to make Islam the dominant political and legal force in the world and to destroy or enslave all people who do not adhere to the most draconian form of Islam is the most prized vector of the spread of Islam and the pirate Mohamed made up a lot of rewards for a mythical afterlife for all those who die in the process of attaining more material wealth and power for Mohamed, and subsequently his replacements, the various Caliphs.

So when these two fine men, and I mean that sincerely, feign surprise and discuss how to deal with an Islamic school that teaches Islam, well I suppose its a tin step in the right direction but it is a veneer. What is needed is dealing with the truth.

And yet so many gay groups remain steadfastly anti-Israel and pro Palestinian when they would last about a day walking with a same-sex sexual partner in any muslim country and Palestine.

The leader of a small West African nation that receives American humanitarian aid has warned that any gay or lesbians found in his country will “regret” being born.

Yahya Jammeh, who has been president of Gambia since a bloodless coup in 1994, is not shy about expressing his anti-gay opinions. The president’s latest rant came during a speech on March 28 at the opening of the country’s parliament, according to Gambia’s Freedom Newspaper Online. In an interesting juxtaposition of themes, Jammeh called for continued peace in his country, promised to root out criminal activity and warned homosexuals to stay out of the region or suffer severe consequences.

“Homosexuality is anti-humanity. I have never seen homosexual chicken, or turkey,” Jammeh said, according to the Freedom Newspaper. “If you are convicted of homosexuality in this country, there will be no mercy for offenders.”

He continued thus:

Homosexuality is anti-god, anti-human, and anti-civilization. Homosexuals are not welcome in the Gambia. If we catch you, you will regret why you are born. I have buffalos from South Africa and Brazil and they never date each other. We are ready to eat grass but we will not compromise on this. Allowing homosexuality means allowing satanic rights. We will not allow gays here.

A photo of a bruised and beaten gay man who claims he received his injuries while walking through a Muslim suburb of Paris arm in arm with his boyfriend has provoked shock and fresh concerns about the rise of ethnic extremism in western cities.

“A man in Paris, France was reportedly beaten for walking with arm in arm with his boyfriend Olivier early Sunday morning. Wilfred de Bruijn, a French resident, says he was assaulted while walking in Paris’ 19th arrondissement. He says he sustained several injuries, including a missing tooth, broken bones, and fractured pieces of bone in his skull. He posted a photo of his wounds on his Facebook page with the caption “Sorry to show you this. It’s the face of homophobia,” reports Al Jazeera.

The 19th arrondissement of Paris is mainly populated with Muslim and North African immigrant families and who live adjacent to Orthodox jews. The area is known for suffering high rates of crime fueled by “gang warfare,” and ethnically-charged clashes are commonplace.

The communications watchdog, Ofcom, has made a series of rulings against channels which allowed “inflammatory” material to be broadcast in breach of rules which forbid extreme opinions gaining a platform on British television.

The cases, disclosed today, include examples of an imam telling viewers that those who disrespect the prophet Mohammed should be killed, and another broadcaster saying homosexuals should be beaten and tortured.

The stations were found to have committed serious breaches of the broadcasting code by allowing the extreme opinions to be aired unchallenged.

“Muslim patrol” homophobic abuse victim comes forward

A man who was subjected to homophobic abuse by a self-styled “Muslim patrol” in Whitechapel has come forward to police.

The man is now being questioned after police submitted an appeal for him to make himself known to them last week.

It is part of an ongoing investigation into a series of incidents on the weekend of January 12 and 13.

Several videos of vigilantes patrolling the streets of Whitechapel were uploaded to YouTube. In one, shot in Commercial Street, a man is told to: “get out of here you fag… don’t stay around here any more”.

Other videos show passers-by being harassed and told to pour away their alcoholic drinks as the vigilantes tell them to leave the area surrounding the East London Mosque.

A spokesperson said: “The Metropolitan Police Service takes these incidents very seriously and is pursuing various lines of enquiry with a view to identifying and prosecuting the individuals concerned.”

I was offered the “Muslim patrol” story in Tower Hamlets, where self-proclaimed “Muslim vigilantes” filmed themselves verbally abusing and intimidating a gay man. Perhaps wrongly, I didn’t use it because I wasn’t sure whether a few kids on YouTube had national importance. I am glad, however, that the local police appear to be taking it seriously for once – in contrast to their lamentable attempts to ignore, downplay and cover up previous acts of “Islamic enforcement” and bigotry in the East End.

One Tower Hamlets organisation of undoubted national importance that continues to laugh up its sleeve at us is the East London Mosque, the capital’s largest. The mosque’s PR machine lost no time cranking out a statement condemning the “vigilantes” and claiming that the mosque was “committed to building co-operation and harmony between all communities in this borough. The actions of this tiny minority have no place in our faith.” This claim has been trustingly repeated by various journalists in the coverage this week. But, as the most cursory investigation would show, it is a brazen lie.

There is no evidence that the East London Mosque is directly involved in the latest attacks. But at least one activist in the Islamic Forum of Europe, the Islamic supremacist group that runs the mosque, has previously threatened and intimidated people for violating “Islamic norms,” using the IFE’s name.

Two men have been arrested by police investigating reports a gang claiming to be Islamic vigilantes have been confronting people in the street demanding they throw away alcohol and cover their bare skin.

In one video, posted online, men from the self-styled Muslim patrol in Whitechapel, east London, tell another man “no drink in this area, it’s a Muslim area” before ordering him to pour away his alcohol.

It has been reported that another video shows the group shouting homophobic abuse at a man and tell him “get out of here you fag… don’t stay around here any more”.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Officers investigating a series of incidents that took place over the course of the weekend of 12/13 January in east London, whereby a small group of individuals were seen to approach and harass members of the public at various locations, have arrested two men.

“Videos of the incidents were uploaded onto YouTube.”

A 22-year-old man was arrested in Acton, west London on Sunday, and a 19-year-old man was arrested on Monday after going to an east London police station.

Iranian gay men being hanged

Four Iranian gay men are due to be executed for sodomy under their nation’s Shari’a laws, Pink News is reporting.

The four men — identified by the Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran as Saadat Arefi, Vahid Akbari, Javid Akbari and Houshmand Akbari — are set to be hanged after their guilty verdict was approved recently by high court judges.

“I am horrified and saddened to have heard the news about these four men,” London-based Iranian human rights lawyer Mehri Jafari is quoted by Pink News and LGBTQ Nation as saying. “Not only with regards to the execution which is about to take place, but the fact that is beyond our control.”

The news comes just two days ahead of the release of a new report on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Iran, which will highlight the problems they face in their own country and when they flee into exile, according to Gay Star News.

Terror threat muslim preacher walks free

SYDNEY Nov 23 AAP – An Islamic preacher who threatened a terrorist attack on Sydney’s Mardi Gras and accessed child pornography has been sentenced to jail, but immediately walked free because of time already served.

Ibrahim Siddiq-Conlon, a 36-year-old father of four, made a hoax terror threat on the Facebook page of Today FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show, Sydney’s Downing Centre District Court was told.

He wrote a “homophobic diatribe including threats of violence”, Judge Penny Hock said on Friday, adding that she saw the hoax threat as the more serious of the two offences.

“It was clearly a threat that had to be acted upon,” Judge Hock said.

Siddiq-Conlon referred to his organisation Sharia4Australia on the page and also warned Muslims they should avoid the area on the day of the annual parade.

The Sydney architect warned: “Attention, high possible risk of a terrorist attack. Spread the word. Imminent danger.” He had made the message from his own Facebook page, which is in his name.

A female teacher of Islamic religious education is causing stir with her declarations. As reported by “Der Standard”, the woman has, while giving a lesson on religion, allegedly declared among other things that homosexuals should be incinerated.

Allegedly she also explained to her pupils that the black sea is the upside down hell in which homosexuals lie by thousands. When speaking with Anna Strümpel, the journalist from “Der Standard”, the teacher did not deny these declarations, but she did not wish to be quoted.

Currently she teaches a dozen of pupils in 2 classes. One of the pupils reported about these declarations to the directorship of the school, but it has not reacted to them. The Islamic Religious Community in Austria knows about the opinions of the teacher. But before making any declaration to “Der Standard” regarding this issue, “an in-depth conversation with her” would be desirable.

Niko Alm, the chairman of the organization for those not tied to any confession, demands that the teacher be removed from her duty, and to consider filing a complaint for hate speech. He commented to “Der Standard” that the declarations of the teacher are “superstitions and nonsenses”.

Some 430 teachers of Islamic religions teach in Austria. The majority of them deliver their lessons impeccably. Cases like that of the criticized teacher are individual ones.
