DIE FREIHEIT TO SPEAK ON 9/11 IN NYC……!

The Tundra Tabloids met René Stadtkewitz in Berlin last year, during the launching of his new party, Die Freiheit, (October, 28, Berlin). The party is destined to be on the forefront on bucking trends of political correctness, like this next initiative in speaking on 9/11 on Ground Zero in NYC. Kudos to both the man and his party for sticking up for the US, Liberal democracy and Western civilization.

He is in the same league as Geert Wilders and the rest of the honorable anti-Islamization movement. The TT was proud to meet him and be present at that memorable moment when Die Freiheit became a de facto, political party. KGS

7 injured in terror attack outside south Tel Aviv nightclub

Police: Nablus resident commandeers cab, rams Border Police road block, gets out, screams “Allah Akbar” begins stabbing people; police officers, security guard among injured.

Seven people were injured in south Tel Aviv early Monday morning, when a terrorist from the West Bank carjacked a taxi and rammed it into a police road block protecting a Tel Aviv nightclub, before going on a stabbing spree.

Police said the terrorist, a 20-year-old Nablus resident, entered a taxi near the beginning of Salameh Street, and carjacked the driver, stabbing him in the hand. He then drove for approximately a kilometer down Salameh Street towards the Haoman 17 nightclub, which was filled with high school children at an end-of-summer party. At the time of the attack, almost all of the teenagers were inside the club.

CONFRONTING UNFORSEEN EVENTS–EUROPE AND ISRAEL

After the massive looting riots spread across England, British Prime Minister David Cameron declared: “There are pockets of our society that are not just broken, but frankly sick.” He added that the problem was even larger saying: “There are things badly wrong with our society.”

Can one relate Cameron’s statement on societies gone wrong with sick pockets to all Western democracies? Out of nowhere sudden upheavals emerge, seemingly with increased frequency. Could a large societal event cause lengthy chaos in a post-modern democracy?

Before focusing on aspects of pathology in Western societies, one should analyze a bigger issue: Are these unforeseen upheavals stand-alone, or linked to key characteristics common to many democracies? And as far as Israel is concerned – what do we learn from what happens to others?

The increasing complexity of Western society is one of its major characteristics. This will expand further, partly due to advances in technology. Complexity brings with it more confusion, fragmentation and often polarization. Western societies will become even less transparent and thus more difficult to govern. A growing percentage of the population will have difficulty in coping with the increased intricacies of social order and its rapid changes. Fewer people will therefore have to carry a larger number of marginalized ones financially. In such a general environment, a smaller entity can, in principle, identify looming problems easier.

The European Union is a prime example of a large complex system without proper checks and balances. It is in urgent need of drastic revision rather than further uncontrolled integration. Similarly, the E.U. should not be made into an even more opaque “transfer union” whereby wealthy states continuously finance poorer ones. A better approach would be to determine which countries should leave the Eurozone in order to make it more homogeneous.

Had one understood the disadvantages of increasing complexity a few decades ago, Europe would not have allowed mass immigration of non-Westerners, especially considering that xenophobia is ubiquitous in Europe. To make matters worse, significant percentages of these immigrants are adherents to ideologies alien to the rule of democracy. Angela Merkel, Nicolas Sarkozy, David Cameron and several others have declared — far too late however — that multiculturalism is a failure.

Egyptians plan million-man rally against Israel

Facebook groups call for mass protest outside Israeli embassy in Cairo, as protesters demand ambassador be expelled, embassy be closed

Egyptian daily al-Youm al-Saba’a reported Wednesday that Egyptian citizens have created groups on Facebook and other social networks calling for “a million-man protest” outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo on Friday.

The protesters say the focus of the demonstration will be the demand to have the Israeli ambassador expelled from Egypt and Israel’s embassy in the capital closed.

GATES OF VIENNA: WHAT IS ISLAMOPHOBIA……?

Folks, the term ‘islamophobia’ was invented to enable the OIC to ramrod it’s Islamic agenda in the West, where freedom of speech still has some semblance -or an appearance of- being protected. Those in the West who willingly support and promote the meme are nothing more than fools. Thanks to the Baron over at the Gates of Vienna for shedding some light on the subject. KGS

Baron Bodissey: If the OIC achieves its goals, and Islamophobia is outlawed in the West, lawmakers, bureaucrats, and the police will require guidelines about the ways in which this ugly disease manifests itself, so they can recognize those who suffer from it and assign them to a secure facility for treatment. DHS will need to write up a handbook for its local agents describing what to watch out for. Federal and state legislators will need a clear definition of the word to include in the laws they pass against it.

So what is Islamophobia? What’s a good working definition of the word?

Fortunately, someone has already done the hard work of laying out the concept in detail. And, needless to say, the defining was done by Muslims themselves.

EMISCO: European Muslim Initiative for Social CohesionThe following article, “A Proposed Definition of Islamophobia”, was written last year by a European group called the European Muslim Initiative for Social Cohesion (EMISCO), an umbrella organization of Muslim NGOs from all over the continent.

Even though it was composed from a European perspective, this definition is probably similar to what will be used in the United States when required. I’ll go through it by sections, bolding phrases and sentences that merit further discussion:

Islamophobia is a form of intolerance and discrimination motivated with fear, mistrust and hatred of Islam and its adherents. It is often manifested in combination with racism, xenophobia, anti-immigrant sentiments and religious intolerance.

Notice that this lead paragraph presupposes an understanding of what is in the mind of an Islamophobe. It assumes that opposition to Islam must be motivated by fear and hatred. It excludes the possibility that opponents of Islam may be motivated primarily by rational self-interest, rather than angry passion.

The text does not specify it, but one may assume that EMISCO’s definition denies the existence of any other motives for opposing Islam. It is simply considered impossible that any non-Muslim could inform himself about the scriptures, teachings, and laws of Islam, read the history of Islamic expansion, observe the behavior of Muslims in his own time, and come to the reasoned conclusion that Islam is a dangerous political ideology that has degraded and impoverished every society in which it has become dominant.

Such rational conclusions cannot be drawn. The possibility of doing so will be defined out of existence. “Fear”, “mistrust”, and “hatred” are the only acknowledged motives that anyone could have for opposing Islamization.

Combined terrorist attacks are currently taking place on Israeli territory, near the Israel- Egypt border, approximately 20 kilometers north of the city of Eilat.

Nine people were injured when terrorist opened fire at an Israeli bus approximately two hours ago. The injured were evacuated to receive medical care at a nearby hospital.

Several people were injured as a result of an explosive device, detonated on an IDF force that arrived at the scene and drove over it.

Crossfire between IDF forces, led by the Commander of the 80th Division, Brigadier General Tamir Yadi and the cell of terrorists is currently underway. Additional IDF and rescue forces are arriving at the scene.

Hamas has issued a report on the attacks in which they call Eilat “occupied Om Ar-rashrash.”

2:00 PM ‘Tens’ of wounded. IDF killed all terrorists. Events happened on Route 12 in area. 1 killed, 20 wounded on bus. Five wounded from IED’s near Philadelphi. All critical. 25 wounded brought to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat. Some transferred to Soroka in Beersheva. Egypt denies involvement. ‘Palestinians’ claim terrorists wore IDF uniforms. No confirmation of that. No group has taken responsibility.

2:02 PM Bus was shot at by passing passenger car. Third incident, near Netafim involved shooting at a bus and car. Yoseftal has 25 wounded including 5 critical.

2:25 PM As of now, it’s believed that terrorists left Gaza through Philadelphi, crossed into Egypt and then came back across the border into Israel along Route 10 (they didn’t say 10 but that’s what’s on the map) and attacked.

IDF says event not yet ended. They cannot say if there are other terrorist cells wandering around the area. There are exchanges of fire near Gaza.

2:38 PM  Driver of private car told Israel Radio correspondent at Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat that he saw soldier in uniform kneel and shoot at his car. This happened on Route 10, which runs along the Egyptian border from the Philadelphi Corridor to Eilat.

3:08 PM Events still not deemed under control. The IDF believes there could still be terror cells hiding in the area waiting to attack.

Highways 10 (the blue line above) and 12 are closed by IDF order.

There is a battle going on now in the area. More below.

Yoseftal Hospital now reporting 29 wounded – 7 of whom were helicoptered to Soroka in Beersheva. The rest are being treated in Yoseftal. The bus included soldiers traveling home on weekend leave. Bus was traveling from Beersheva to Eilat.

IDF vehicle hit IED and its passengers were hurt.

As you can probably tell, there is still, several hours later, confusion as to what happened.

By the way, if you look at the map above, Road 12 runs from Mitzpe Ramon to Eilat.

4:00 PM Most wounded came from bus. Report of seeing soldier wearing Egyptian uniform opening fire has been confirmed by several witnesses. Roads 10 and 12 closed.

IDF believes terrorists came from Gaza via Sinai. Ehud Barak said this shows Egyptians don’t control the area. The Egyptians are searching the area now and reject report that there was firing from Egypt.

Paramedics arrive on scene, say casualties remain conscious; unclear whether shots fired from Egypt or whether gunmen infiltrated southern border; Barak: We will hunt the perpetrators.

Shots were fired at a Egged bus on Route 12, which connects Mitzpe Ramon to Eilat, according to reports received by Magen David Adom on Thursday afternoon.The bus, line 392, was fired upon by a long-barreled hand gun from a vehicle carrying three terrorists. The driver avoided further damage by continuing to drive instead of braking.The terrorists escaped in the direction of the Egyptian border. Police helicopters are now trying to locate them.Six people were lightly injured by shots and four were moderately injured. The paramedics arrived on the scene and are taking the victims to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat.The incident took place in a military zone, police said.

7 pulled from Iraqi mosque, killed execution-style

BAGHDAD (AP) — Gunmen wearing military uniforms pulled seven people from a Sunni mosque south of Baghdad and then shot and killed them execution-style, officials said Tuesday, raising the death toll to 70 in Iraq’s deadliest day this year.

The killings late Monday came at the end of a day that saw a wave of crushing violence sweep across Iraq, from the northern city of Mosul to the Shiite heartland — including suicide bombings, roadside bombs and shootings. The violence was reminiscent of the bloodletting that used to plague Iraq daily a few years ago and a stark warning that al-Qaida in Iraq is still a force to be reckoned with.

The fact that militants were able to pull off such a wave of violence is especially disturbing considering that U.S. forces are scheduled to leave Iraq at the end of this year, leaving the country’s security in the hands of still-struggling Iraqi security forces.

TED EKEROTH ANSWERS CRITIC OF THE ANTI-ISLAMIZATION MOVEMENT IN SWEDEN

Here is an op-ed by Ted Ekeroth in response to a horrid article by, Jesús Alcalá, that attacked not only the Ekeroth brothers, (Ted and Kent), the Sweden Democrats but the Counterjihad anti-Islamization movement as a whole. KGS

Ekeroth responds to Alcalá: I participated as an individual

RETORT Anders Behring Breivik has no place in the counter-Jihad movement who wants to fight Islamization with words, not violence. Ted Ekeroth writes in response to Jesús Alcalá. But one must also take responsibility for every word where it may lead, responds Alcalá.

Apart from the intellectually dishonest buildup throughout his article (SvD 3 / 8 ) with a “guilt by association” principle, Jesús Alcalá also shows a willingness to deliberately misinterpret the anti-Islamization movement.

Firstly, I was not at the Copenhagen meeting as a representative of the Sweden Democrats, but as an individual among other intellectuals whose courage and sense of human rights led them to gather to discuss the ongoing problem of Islamization.

Anders Behring Breivik has no place in counter-jihad movement for several reasons: he is a murderer who kills children, he wants to cooperate with Al Qaeda and other jihadists, and discuss the possibility to detonate nuclear bombs in European cities. In addition, he wants to impose a Taliban-like patriarchal society where women are subjugated, a selection of his madness that can never be accepted in the anti-Islamization movement.

That he then chose the counter-jihad movement as “his thing” can not be blamed on anyone. He began his plans in 2002 and chose violence as a method already 1999/2000 in its own words – well before the Copenhagen meeting, and long before either Robert Spencer and Fjordman had begun to write. Breivik could choose the “orientation” at any time which should be obvious when you read his manifesto, which is contradictory and confused. The terrorist attack was not about his ideas, but about his willingness to “be someone”, to be known.

Counter Jihad movement fights Islamization with words, pencil and paper. Islamization is not imaginary and it is perhaps easier to see this clearly by looking at the outside world. Non-Muslims in many countries have been displaced because of violence, intimidation and oppression. The non-Muslim populations in the Arab world have been decimated, if not completely erased in some places, precisely because of the pressure they have endured by their Muslim surroundings.

In Europe, it springs up more and more so-called “no-go areas”, ie areas where the government lost control or are on track to do so. These areas are often dominated by Islam, which in many places for an “Islamic way of life” often including Sharia law, there is thus parallel societies in which the host country’s norms, rules and laws are disregarded in favor of Islam. Segregated bathing time, anti-Semitic tapes sold in the Södermalm mosque with incitement to murder, withdrawal of pork from school menus, whilst introducing the ritual slaughter of halal meat, calls for the introduction of Sharia law in Sweden (Mahmoud Aldebe), Muslim groups who attack manifestations that they do not like (Malmo) and violence and threats such as Jews in Malmo (fleeing the city) are just some of Islamization that is happening in Sweden.

Alcalá text does discuss substance, but it is most unclear and unfair innuendo. Is there no Islamization? We are lying in claiming that Islamic texts encourage jihad? Are our observations of how it looks in different European cities fabrications?

These issues, as usual, are never discussed. It is considered to be irrelevant because Islam has nothing to do with the jihadists’ ideas, they say. Instead, it is highly relevant to try to connect the anti-Islamization movement’s basic ideas with Breivik, although his rigmarole, manifesto and practices are in stark contrast to what we are fighting for. Then suddenly it’s all right to try to link the man’s actions to the peaceful anti-Islamization movement, no matter how wrong the link is. But looking at the very core of Islam and the ideological basis and then consider where jihadis get their motivation from, is being “racist” and “dangerous”.

“Debate” in this country is nothing more than an intellectual desert with huge element of hypocrisy and cowardice.

HYPOCRITICAL SWEDISH MEDIA AND POLITICAL ELITE ON SWEDEN DEMOCRATS

If it had been a camp of Sweden Democrats assaulted by a Left-wing extremist, shooting scores in a bloody massacre, how many of you think that they (the bigger parties in Sweden) would be pointing a finger at the policies of the SD as being to blame for their own attack? The TT does.

Think of how the more established Swedish parties (the self anointed elite) took to disparaging the Sweden Democrats over the years as basically being riff raff, which undoubtedly led to SD politicians being assaulted by real riff raff. As the TT recalls, the Swedish PM, Fredrik Reinfeldt, stated at one point (here also) that the SD had their own selves to blame for their members being assaulted, yet no one took the PM and the Swedish elite who agreed with him to task for fomenting violence.

“I want to stress that those who make a living out of inciting an us-against-them mentality and a thoroughly hateful way of looking at relations between people should not be surprised if these things happen.”

Do you see the double standard here folks? The self anointed Swedish elite foment political violence against the SD (with the media’s blessing), publicly painting bulls eyes on the backs of SD politicians, and then blame them for any violence that they may encounter as result of their declaring it’s open season on them.

The established political system is in some way responsible for the present day climate in the public discourse, due to their brutal, over the top and beyond the pale disparaging of politicians and pundits with whom they disagree. The witch hunt against the tolerant and patriotic citizens of Europe, especially here in Scandinavia, has gone on long enough. Time for civility if they can manage it, it will be reciprocated in like manner. KGS

Åkesson stands firm on immigration

The Local: Despite the recent outrages in Norway, Sweden Democrat (SD) leader Jimmie Åkesson refused to change his stance on the controversial party’s line on immigration during his summer speech on Saturday.

Addressing some 500 people in his hometown Sölvesborg in Blekinge, Southern Sweden Åkesson stressed that recent events would not make a difference to the party line, although he believes it should trigger a less combative tone when debating such issues, not just among his own party but all his opponents as well.

“We must be able to continue to criticise Sweden’s immigration policies without being blamed for mass murder,” said Åkesson.

However, he added, “What is important to emphasise is that we will always keep a good tone in the debate, that we have a civilised conversation and we hold back throwing the gravest expression at each other. This applies to me and all politicians.”

Flanked by security guards as he made his speech from the podium at a marina in the town Åkesson once again expressed his anger that the party had been held in some way responsible for the atrocities in Norway because of their outspoken opposition to multiculturalism and refused to condemn the Fremskrittspartiet (FRP) the right wing party which had such an influence on Anders Behring Breivik.

The Norwegian party has promised to tone down its rhetoric in the wake of the incidents, which Åkesson claims is a good example for parties like his own to follow.

He said, “If you mean just what it is now important that we stick together and that we as Democrats stand up for sensible political discourse, it is a great policy initiative.”

Possible honor killing?

It reminds me of Kosovar Ibrahim Shkupolli, who murdered five in Helsinki a few years ago, he has the same blank stare. KGS

Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the shooting, while media reports suggested it may have been a family matter.

The shooting was particularly shocking as it happened in a busy district of the city in broad daylight and seemed to be carried out with precision. Witnesses described it as an outright execution.

The TT’s good friend and colleague has now chosen to end using his pseudonym of Fjordman once and for all. Breivik’s political idol «Fjordman» emerges from anonymity

(VG Nett) In an exclusive interview with VG, Peder Jensen (36) sheds his alias as the right wing blogger «Fjordman», and talks about his shock at being cited as an influence by terrorist Anders Behring Breivik.

Thursday he was questioned for several hours by Norwegian police about his supposed interaction with Breivik (32).

Under the alias «Fjordman», he has been a prolific blogger on different far-right websites, and was cited extensively in Breivik’s rambling manifesto.

The 36 year old man, originally from the coastal town of Ålesund, agreed to an interview in a café in Oslo Thursday evening.

In accordance with his lawyer, he has elected to be interviewed in VG using his real name, and asks that journalists do not contact his neighbors or family.

– I have warned my family about this interview, and because of my own safety, I’m now going into hiding, says Jensen.

Soft spoken and unassuming, he is dressed in a white t-shirt and dark jeans. He says he was horrified at being cited a total of 111 times in Breivik’s 1500 page manifesto.

– I have not read the manifesto, but I have seen bits and pieces referred in the media, and some parts have been shown to me by others, he says.

During the period between 2009 and 2010 he received a handful of emails from Breivik, where he told Jensen that he was working on a book. In one email written towards the end of 2009, he also asked if he could meet his political idol «Fjordman». Jensen refused.

– I don’t know why he wanted to meet me, but I declined. Not because of his extreme views, but because he didn’t seem very interesting – like a vacuum cleaner salesman. «Pie in the sky», I thought to myself when I re-read the emails, says Jensen, again stressing that he never met Breivik personally.

Police sources confirm that Jensen has been questioned as the blogger «Fjordman», and that they are certain of his identity.

– I feel it’s my duty to give a statement to the police, and I wanted to do this interview because my name eventually would have emerged anyway, resulting in a media frenzy. It is also a way for me to clear my name, says Jensen.

Norwegian police confiscated his computer Thursday, and even though he was questioned as a witness, he feels that the police are looking to implicate him.

– They won’t find anything on my computer regarding any criminal matters or Breivik, he says.

Jensen has a masters degree in culture and technology from the University of Oslo, and has studied Arabic at the University of Bergen and the American University in Cairo. In his master’s dissertation he wrote about censorship and blogging in Iran.

He has never been a member of any political party in Norway, and after completing his compulsory military service, he says he has never touched a gun.

After the terrorist attack and his blog being cited as an influence, Jensen says he will never use the alias «Fjordman» again.

– I don’t wish to be associated with Breivik and his horrible actions, he says.
