U.N. Conference Slyly Introduces Resolution to Gain Control of Internet—in Middle of Night

This will of course, be the means by which Muslim countries will gain control of internet content to avoid exposing Islam for what it is. Once the UN can vote on it, then the OIC, a 53+ member body can sway the vote its way fairly easily.

Both the UN, and Islam has to go for basic human liberty to continue.

The World Conference of International Telecommunication (Dubai, 2012), recognizing

a) the WSIS Outcome Documents including Geneva (2003) and Tunis Phases (2005);

b) that the Internet is a central element of the infrastructure of the Information Society, has evolved from a research and academic facility into a global facility available to the public.;

c) the importance of Broadband capacity to facilitate the delivery of a broader range of services and applications, promote investment and provide Internet access at affordable to both existing and new users.;

d) the valuable contribution of all stakeholder groups in their respective roles as recognized in paragraph 35 of the Tunis Agenda to the evolution, functioning and development of the Internet.;

The U.N. meets to discuss 40,000 dead in Syria

There are two things you need if you are to survive this period of history with your sanity intact.

1. Your sense of smell

2. Your sense of humour.

Try to watch to the end. It won’t surprise you, but the predictability of it is, in a strange way, comforting.

Once you can easily predict grotesque abuses of process to demonize one group, it loses a lot of its power.

State Dept. Official to Attend OIC Meeting Today on Banning ‘Defamation of Islam’ UPDATE: OIC scrubs website, screenshot added, cover-up begins

Pajamas Media:

November 18, 2012 – 11:18 pm

UPDATE: Well, that didn’t last long. Earlier this morning before I posted this item the OIC press release noted that US Consul General in Jeddah Anne Casper would be attending the OIC’s meeting:

The Session will be attended by Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the OIC Secretary General. It will be chaired by Ambassador Ahmad Taib , Director General of the Branch of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, Makkah Al-Mukarrammah region. It will also be attended by Sergey Kuznetsov, Consul General of the Russian Federation and Anne Casper, US Consul General in Jeddah.

But within the past few hours that mention has been scrubbed. The press release I linked to earlier now reads:

UNESCO now clearly a tool of the OIC and Islamic historical fictions

Burying Rachel’s Tomb

Over the past several years, the Palestinians have been trying very hard to make Rachel’s Tomb disappear • Using deceit, they have succeeded in convincing UNESCO that Rachel’s Tomb is actually a mosque built to commemorate the Prophet Mohammed’s first muezzin • Meanwhile, historical documentation and hundreds of thousands of Jews who remain loyal to Rachel’s Tomb hinder the attempt to turn it into a Muslim site.

It is doubtful whether any other place between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River illustrates the concept of self-defense that has trickled into Israel’s security mindset as well as Rachel’s Tomb. The formerly picturesque site is engraved in the memory of many people as a stone building with a dome on top and an ancient olive tree in front of it, on the road between Jerusalem and Hebron.

Although Rachel’s Tomb has been depicted that way in countless art works, stamps and holy books, not a shred of that nostalgic image remains today. Israel’s defense establishment wiped it out, wrapping the ancient site in a robe of concrete and cement.

Jacques Boissinot / The Canadian Press / Cem Turkel / AFP / Getty Images This week, the UN’s Richard Falk, right, called for a boycott of companies that have dealings with Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem until they meet international rights standards. John Baird, left, said Falk’s latest report is part of a pattern of bias towards Israel.
  • GATINEAU, Que. — A United Nations special investigator’s latest criticism of Israel’s conduct towards the Palestinians is part of a disturbing pattern, Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird charged Friday.

    Baird’s remarks marked the latest example of two of the most firmly planted pillars of Canadian foreign policy under the Conservatives: A defence of Israel and criticism of the UN.

    Canada joined Israel and the United States in calling for the removal of Richard Falk, the UN’s special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories.

    This week, Falk called for a boycott of companies that have dealings with Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem until they meet international rights standards.

U.N. likely caused the Haitian Cholera epidemic

Let’s hope this scandal finally puts to bed the catastrophe that is the U.N. Although I doubt it. The UN is guilty of so much worse. For those who have not seen it already, check out the movie, ‘U.N. me’ sometime.

From UN Watch:

UN Watch Press Release:

U.N. Wrong to Reject New Evidence

It Caused Haiti’s Cholera Epidemic

Ban Ki-moon Should Apologize to Families

& Reopen Investigation

EXPERT REPUDIATES U.N. REPORT,

SAYS WORLD BODY IS CULPABLE

Geneva, Oct. 24– The U.N. needs to reopen its 2011 investigation into Haiti’s cholera epidemic in light of new evidence from one of the investigating scientists that points to U.N. culpability for the outbreak, a catastrophe that has already killed 7,500 and sickened more than 300,000, said UN Watch, a non-governmental watchdog group based in Geneva.

However, speaking Monday at a U.N. briefing, Under-Secretary-General Hervé Ladsous, the world body’s head of peacekeeping, dismissed a top scientist’s conclusion that the epidemic originated in a U.N. camp of peacekeepers from Nepal.

Ladsous pointed to the 2011 report by a U.N. expert panel which, he said, “concluded that it was impossible to establish the origins of the disease.”

In response, UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer highlighted the fact that the new evidence comes from a member of the U.N. panel itself, Dr. Daniele Lantagne, a leading international public health expert.

If Canada wishes any self determination, it must leave the UN and now.

This video of Brian Lilley starts out a bit slow. But when it gets going its very good. I can understand the need however, to warm up an audience brainwashed into the notion that the UN is a paragon of all that is virtuous and good to the notion that we have to leave it if indeed we wish to actually cling to any notions of personal or national autonomy.

The UN agency that promotes education wants a say in how future textbooks are written, and Saudi Arabia — a nation whose own school books have been criticized for promoting hatred of Christians and Jews — is helping to bankroll the effort.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is currently working with member states to revise its strategy for the publication of textbooks and learning materials. According to UNESCO’s website, experts from 21 countries met in Paris last month at a meeting financed by a $29,000 Saudi donation and focused in part on “ways to ensure that content aimed at students systematically reflects cultural and religious diversity, and avoids gender stereotypes.”
