CBC framed the question to force people to think it was the US’s fault that Iran shot down a passenger jet after the US responded to yet ANOTHER Iranian attack on a US embassy.
Video verified by The New York Times appears to show an Iranian missile hitting a plane above Parand, near Tehran’s airport, the area where a Ukrainian airliner stopped transmitting its signal before it crashed on Wednesday.
A small explosion occurred when a missile hit the plane, but the plane did not explode, the video showed. The jet continued flying for several minutes and turned back toward the airport, The Times has determined. The plane flew toward the airport ablaze before it exploded and crashed quickly, other videos verified by The Times showed.
Trudeau lets Iran off the hook for shooting down the jet within 90 seconds of his beginning this press conference. Again, if Israel or the US had shot down this jet even because of a systems error, which would likely be the nature off the accident, more specifically, a badly designed air defence system misidentifying the jet, his language would be stronger and less forgiving it is fair to assume.
To be fair to a singularity unfair man, He does say our FM condemns Iran’s strikes against military bases and other targets. That was our FM though, not Trudeau.
Is Turkey the wildcard in the US – Iran game?
The following post is a bit of a rough ride. It is not attempting to lead anyone to any conclusions and may or may not have any meaning at all.
It is also possible that it has a great deal of meaning.
If one considers what Erdogan says in these clips to be repeating aspects of Reliance of the Traveler and other scripture, it could be very meaningful that a leader of a NATO country may say these words.
Or, it could be mindless nothings. Erdogan is known to speak with a lot of art and metaphor. So much so, many natives find it very hard to listen to.

One question may be, is he speaking with a policy of deliberate ambiguity? Or is it because he is dog-whistling Islamic law and customs as the de facto leader of the muslim world at this time. At least geopolitically as the Muslim Brotherhood is now officially Turkish.

It’s also possible to infer one possible meaning of great strategic importance though.
And that would be that prominent NATO member state, Turkey, is wildly on the other side of the equation when it comes to Iran Vs. the US. and that Turkey could be the much bigger threat.
This is one of those Pascal’s wager type situations. Is the harm in not believing this is the case and being wrong, greater than the harm in believing this is the case and observing events with this possibility?

(In essence, it is that President Trump has trashed a standing policy of allowing Iran to deny actions against the US by its proxies in order to create the illusion of stability. But that hasn’t been working at all so, this makes a great deal of sense. Lets all hope its true. Ukrainian passenger plane crashes in Iran
BBC:
A Ukrainian Boeing-737 with 180 people onboard has crashed in Iran, according to local media.
The aircraft belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed just after take-off from Iran’s Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran, said the Fars state news agency.
Preliminary reports suggest that the plane was en route to the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
It is unclear whether the incident is linked to the Iran-US confrontation.
Rescue teams have been sent to the area, near the airport, where the aircraft crashed.
“The plane is on fire but we have sent crews … and we may be able to save some passengers,” Pirhossein Koulivand, head of Iran’s emergency services, told state television, according to Reuters news agency.
