It seems as if the clips on YT of the bomb in Turkey vanish quite quickly for one reason or another. So here is a quick compilation of some of the most critical scenes of those clips.

I wonder.
If I was to search in google for, ‘Bomb explodes’ then limit search to say,24 hours I wonder how many of the results would be Muslims trying to kill people with them.
At the time of this posting, the answer is seemingly all of them although one was a minor in Australia and they don’t give the name. But I know where the smart money is.
Explosions have killed at least 40 in a town in Turkey near the Syrian border. Hundreds of thousands of Syrians live in camps along the 900-kilometer frontier, including in Reyhanli, where the explosions occured.
Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler said that 40 people were dead and more than 100 wounded after four blasts in Reyhanli (pictured), just a few kilometers from a major border post with Syria. He added that 29 of the people wounded were in serious condition.

AYDIN – Do?an News Agency

The legal age for marriage in Turkey has been raised to 17 from 15, however many groups are calling to set the age to 18.
One out of every four brides is a child as families are increasingly applying to the court to change the date of birth of their daughters so that they can legally marry, warned an association of Turkish female lawyers May 4. “There is an increase of 94 percent in application to courts by families to show their daughters age older, in order to get marriage permit,” said Gülten Kaya, head of the female lawyers’ commission of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations, during a meeting of the group in Ku?adas?.
The legal age for marriage in Turkey has been raised to 17 from 15, however the commission members said that the limit should be increased to the majority age of 18.
Poll of 3500 Turkish men reveals wife beating not a problem.
In their education efforts, the Islamic government based on the message that violence against women is also a violation of Islam. But there is perhaps the biggest problem: The honor killing researcher Hülya Özaktürk found out by interviewing numerous women murderers that they consider their actions to conform to the precepts of religion. This may also apply for “normal” domestic violence.
This raises the question of whether government policy promoting the religion itself contributes, despite all preventive and educational programs to encourage those social strata in their views, which are most likely to violence against women.
Die Welt: The Turkish Family Minister Fatma Sahin said some time ago, the government is working to not only get a better grip on violence against wives by their husbands, but to eliminate it completely.
That may be too optimistic. A new statistic shows that it probably reflexive of the thinking of most Turkish men and would have the opposite effect. A survey by the University of Kirikkale and the organization “Happy Children” of 3500 Turkish men, which used a truism, anyways in Turkey: ”Of course most Turkish men find violence against wives completely normal, sensible and practical.”
28 percent of respondents considered violence against wives is essential: This must be done precisely to discipline them. 34 percent said they considered themselves moderate and violence against marriage offers only “occasionally” and when “necessary”.
Together they are 62 percent, almost two-thirds of the men surveyed. Maybe it is because everyone already knows the country that men think so. But now they were for the first time ever questioned on the subject.
The conditions under which violence is justified in the survey offered graded statements. 18 percent of men responded positively to the basic view that “the man is the ruler of the house and can violence freely applied if necessary.”
30.9 percent wanted only to strike when “a good reason” was given for it. But perhaps most telling was a different proposition, which introduced the “honor” as the reason. 37.9 percent of respondents agreed that violence was justified to enforce principles such as honor, integrity and discipline.
For this purpose, one must understand that particularly in the Kurdish southeast of the country, but also in the major cities with its many immigrant Kurds, which means “honor” for the livelihood of many families.
If it is “dirty”, you will be shunned, might in turn mean doing business to earn money. “Spotted” she is the woman suspected of misconduct-. Indecent clothes, flirting with other men, extramarital relationships
An actual wrongdoing is not necessary, evil rumors are sufficient. Is that going once, then one is faced with the choice of being outcast or kill the woman, or to flee with her somewhere where no one knows.
And inasmuch as many men like the beating appear as a lesser evil, if it serves to preserve the “honor”, so keep the woman of it to behave in a way that could make in the neighborhood of rumors, then saves it – so the logic – not only honor, but under certain circumstances the woman before something worse.
The fact is that the statistics reported a steady increase in domestic violence against women. A year ago, the Turkish Parliament adopted a much acclaimed law against domestic violence, but so far seems to have no effect: last year 125 women were killed by their husbands or partners, and the trend is likely rising – only this March were there 14 murders.
More than 30,000 women have been physically hurt by their husbands or partners in the past year. The Family Ministry offers workshops and marriage counseling before marriage to, is where HEMTT good communication and non-violent problem solving.
The government has also introduced a “panic button” program, to send with a single push of a button on their phone in acute threat to a distress signal, the oppressed women. The efficacy was but “not yet documented,” says the Family Ministry.
[…]
The unanswered question is whether this force increases, or is reported and documented only more often, and if there are the views of the men who harden by the ongoing decade Islamization, or whether on the contrary, a progressive softening of conservative behavior, ie a liberalization in the society, more and more male violence leads to more free-thinking women. The fact is that much of the violence, particularly the murders of women arises in a divorce situation.

Art history experts are expressing alarm at a court ruling in Turkey that the 13th century Church of Hagia Sophia – which has been a museum and contains irreplaceable examples of its time period – must be converted to a mosque.
The situation has been detailed by the art experts at The Art Newspaper.
There, Andrew Finkel wrote that the famous structure in Trabzon, a city along the Black Sea, will be converted to a mosque following an extended battle over its use.
Finkel is alarmed, however, because “many in Turkey believe that the Church of Hagia Sophia is a stalking horse for the possible re-conversion of its more famous namesake in Istanbul, the Hagia Sophia Museum.”
“A building covenanted as a mosque cannot be used for any other purpose,” Mazhar Yildirimham, of the General Directorate of Pious Foundations, said in the report. The organization made the claim that the structure is “an inalienable part of the foundation of Sultan Mehmed II,” who reportedly originally took over the church building and turned it into a mosque in 1462.
This can certainly be read a couple of ways.

Racism and a lack of tolerance of different cultures and lifestyles are some of the chronic diseases in Western socities, says Turkish President Gül. DHA Photo
European countries will face new humanitarian tragedies leading to mass killings of people if they continue in their failure to embrace tolerance toward different cultures and religions, President Abdullah Gül has warned.
“Islam and migrants have been a reality in Europe for centuries. As long as the continent of Europe doesn’t approach segments which are different from the majority with tolerance, particularly in regards to religion, an occurrence of new inquisitions and Holocausts, as well as incidents evoking Srebrenica, are probable,” Gül said yesterday.
His strongly worded remarks came as he delivered a keynote speech at the opening of a two-day international symposium on “Migration, Islam and Multiculturality in Europe” arranged by Hacettepe University’s Migration and Politics Research Center.

Thirteen year old raped by 29 men. The episode comes only a few weeks after from a similar case. Among those arrested is an agent. Sexual crimes are on the rise in the country. A new case of sexual assault against a minor was heard in Turkey, where 29 people, including a policeman were arrested in Golcuk, in the western part of the country, on charges of raping a thirteen-year-old. The episode occurred only a few weeks after a similar case, which has aroused great excitement in the country, that of a twelve-year-old-girl, who was raped by 26 men in Mardin, in southeastern Anatolia. The violence against women and sexual offenses remain a scourge in Turkey.
SEXUAL CRIMES INCREASED BY 400%
Sexual offenses increased by 400% in the country in the last 10 years: in 2011, there were 33,000 registered complaints, versus 8,000 in 2002. The story of the thirteen-year-old was discovered thanks to a teacher. The girl did not dare to speak of the violence suffered because she had been blackmailed and threatened by the rapists, reports the Turkish newspaper Taraf.
THE PRECEDENT
The case of the twelve-year-old provoked violent controversy in recent weeks. After the reporting of the rapes, 23 of the 26 accused were arrested. But they had all been released on bail before the first hearing of the trial. The girl had written to the Minister of Justice asking him: “Do you not have a child? What would you do if her daughter had suffered all this? All the accused are now out and about. What has become of my life?” A court of first instance in Mardin condemned the 23 defendants to prison terms of between one and six years, as part of their defence was that the child was “willing”. The judgment was set aside by the Supreme Court of Appeal, which has ordered a retrial.
LOOKING for the highway to hell? Italian archeologists believe they have found it in southwestern Turkey.
An ancient cave called Plutonium, believed to be the portal to Hades in Greek and Roman myth, was uncovered at the ancient site of Hierapolis.
“This is an exceptional discovery as it confirms and clarifies the information we have from the ancient literary and historic sources, Alister Filippini, a researcher in Roman historian at the University of Palermo, Italy told Discovery News.
The new discovery features a temple, a pool, and multiple steps that once descended into the hell.
People could watch the sacred rites from these steps, but they could not get to the area near the opening. Only the priests could stand in front of the portal, said Francesco D’Andria, professor of classic archeology at the University of Salento.

(ANSAmed) – ANKARA, APRIL 3 – Polemics, accusations, and sarcasm have failed to put a damper on Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s plans to build an enormous mosque towering over the Bosphorus.
The mosque will be gigantic, covering a surface area of some 15,000 square meters on the Camlica hill on Istanbul’s Asian side, with another 250,000 square meters housing a park, museum, bar, restaurants, amusement park, and a terrace with a breathtaking view over the Bosphorus and Byzantine and Muslim Istanbul. Erdogan had announced the project a year ago, saying that the ”enormous” mosque would be ”visible from anywhere in the city” with ”the highest minarets in the world”.
In the eyes of opposition secularist Turks, Erdogan – who is referred to as ‘the new sultan’ by many – would like to leave his mark on the city in the tradition of the caliphs of the past. His mosque will be endowed with six minarets instead of two, a distinction of which thus far only Istanbul’s famous Blue Mosque can boast.
”There are many places in Istanbul where a mosque could be built, but they want to send a message,” Hurriyet was told by the opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) MP Mehmet Ali Ediboglu. ”The message is that they want to build an Islamic republic in the place of the secular system. That’s what they are doing, step by step”. Erdogan’s Turkey cannot be said to be lacking in mosques.

“The Turks in Germany are a time bomb, at least the majority of them”. This is the statement with which Peter Cohen, an American visiting professor at Munich University, concludes his recent study in Germany.
Three million Turks live already in Germany already, while 2.5 million of them have German nationality, and the majority of them are conservative Muslims.
Are they integrated in the German society? Not really.
The majority of them speak broken German, especially the elderly.
“They don’t want to integrate in the German society,” says Hartmut, who doesn’t want to be identified for fear of reprisals by violent Turks. “They even hate to be called ‘migrants’. They feel very Turkish. They happen to be in Germany as the elderly generation in the 1960s had been recruited to work in the car and coal industries. Now, culturally the majority of Turks, even the young, here in Germany feel very Turkish. ” Adds Hartmut, who is a social scientist at a German university.
Professor Cohen subscribes to what Hartmut says about Turkish migration, “In the USA, for instance, migrants usually integrate in the American society, latest when the second generation is there. My survey indicate that the majority of Turks insist on keeping their Turkish identity and their cultural heritage. They feel at home in the Turkish culture.”
Very few Turks in Germany have a regular job; about 20%. The other 80% live on the so-called Hartz IV (state social benefits). 70% of their children have no GCSE; they left school before they finished their basic education.

Islamofascism in Turkey
Before islamic AKP government, wearing headscarves used to be banned at schools, universities and other official buildings in Turkey. And according to the decisions of courts , including the supreme court, Turkey is a secular country and nobody can wear a headscarf or other religios symbols in official buildings. But AKP governmet changed the law, and the judges of course, to remove headscarf ban.
In fact this was not a simple change in law, it was a islamic revolution. Therefore, islamist and jihadist AKP government and the judges and proscuters assigned by AKP started to punish secular people for spreading islamisation process.
And this secular professor was one of them. If you shoot and hurt somebody or if you steal something, the maximum sentence is usually not more than 2 years in Turkey. BUT, if you obey the supreme court decisions and do not let headscarfed girls enter a university, the punishment is 2 and half a year in prison.
According to the criminal code of Turkey, sentences more than 2 years can not be suspended. Because of this fact, the professor will be imprisoned soon…

A lesbian couple and their nine-year-old foster child have gone into hiding because of the row in Turkey about Muslim children being cared for by gay or Christian couples.
The couple have looked after Yunus since he was five months old but his mother has long campaigned for his return. Last week she made an emotional television appeal, leading to widespread debate in Turkey itself.
Next week, Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the Netherlands and some expect him to raise the fostering issue.
A Turkish parliamentary commission is currently researching the fostering of Muslim children by gay or Christian couples, which they say will lead to them becoming estranged from their cultural background.

Child social services in The Hague say they are extremely concerned about the ongoing debate. ‘The situation means Yunus cannot go to school,’ one official told Nos television.
