Fire at St Andrew’s Church, Twyford, possible ‘hate crime’

The fire started on a medieval oak chest in the church’s vestryA suspected arson attack at a church is being investigated by police as a possible hate crime.
It is thought a rare Bible was thrown on to the fire which was started in the vestry of St Andrew’s Church, in Twyford, Derbyshire, on Wednesday.
Damage estimated at £5,000 was caused and church warden Anne Bennett said the congregation found it very distressing.
A 23-year-old man, from Allestree, was arrested in connection with the blaze and has since been released on bail.

Kasur: June 6, 2013. (PCP) A shocking case have surfaced in a village of District Kasur where Christians women were tortured and paraded nude in village while their Christian men badly treated by Muslim landlords.
The Christian women Arshad Bibi, Sajida Bibi and Saruyia Bibi were beaten by armed Muslims who entered at about 11;00 PM while they were sleeping in their house and no man of the house was present in the house except one 73 years old man Sadiq Masih and his wife Bibi Rani 70 years old. The Muslim landlords of the village Sereser Chak No.21 Abrahim, Muhammad Rafique, Munir, Ahmad, Asif, Ahmad, Abid, Usman, Waseem, Waqas and Shabir and three unknown persons after beating made them publicly naked and no one showed courage to save them from that torture.
“Few days ago some goats were entered in the fields of Muslim landlords and they made them locked up in their house. I went to requested them to give back my goats but they refused and abused me and slapped at my cheeks in front of many people on which I returned back home,” told Shoukat Masih.

Notice the logic. It was not an out-and-out closure of Christian schools on that basis. That would cause blowback from supporters. They made up a rule that would only apply to the Christian schools and then applied it. Basically the exact same modus operandi president Obama uses to destroy equality and freedom of speech within the US.

The banishments and butchery aren’t new, but the breakdown of the last rotting order in the wake of the “Arab Spring” has empowered psychotic fanatics who do not even value the lives of the faithful, let alone the lives of unbelievers. This is the end-game, the final persecution of Christians clinging to lands they’ve called home for 2,000 years. Except for Israel and the rarest exceptions elsewhere, Jews are already gone from the realms that nurtured them since the early years of their faith.

(Reuters) – One person died and dozens were wounded during clashes between Muslims and Christians late Friday night outside a Coptic church in Egypt’s second city, state newspaper al-Ahram reported, in the latest violent sectarian row in the Muslim-majority country.
A quarrel between two young men, one Christian and one Muslim, morphed into a family feud that sparked clashes in a western district of Alexandria.
The two sides threw firebombs at each other before security forces intervened and cordoned off the area around the church.

Muslims have a saying, “First the Saturday people, Then the Sunday People.” It’s as true in France as it is Egypt or Bethlehem.
The day after the attack on Father Grégoire, Monsignor Cattenoz has spoken out strongly and denounced “people of the Muslim faith taking control of the district”.
On Monday at around 8 pm, Father Grégoire from the parish of Saint-Jean was attacked by an individual. Struck on the face, the priest was unconscious on the ground until two other members of the parish arrived.
This Tuesday morning at around 11 am, Monsignor Cattenoz, Archbishop of Avignon, denounced growing insecurity in the district of Saint-Ruf (while the local authority official in charge of public safety instead claims that there has been a decrease in crime in this sector), as well as the proliferation of thefts and threats aimed at members of the parish.

LUXOR, Egypt (AP) — Egyptian prosecutors extended the detention Saturday of a Coptic Christian teacher held over accusations of blasphemy of Islam and proselytizing Christianity, security officials said.
In another southern Egyptian city, security officials said a Coptic man stabbed his wife for converting to Islam and for trying to see their son afterward.

A militant from an armed group, the United Jihad Council, accuses priests of converting the poor in exchange for money. The president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) slams the rise of religious intolerance against Christians. Two South Koreans were beaten and arrested for handing out Bibles in the street.
Srinagar (AsiaNews) – “All Christian missionaries must immediately leave the Kashmir Valley. If they do not, they will suffer the consequences,” warned Sadagat Hussain Syed, spokesman for the United Jihad Council, an umbrella organisation for Jammu and Kashmir jihadist groups. The words of the Islamic fundamentalist, “show the gravity of the situation in which Christians live in the only Indian state with a Muslim majority,” said Sajan George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), as he spoke to AsiaNews.
Recently, Sadagat issued a press release in which he accused Christian missionaries who live in Kashmir of “exploiting the poor and needy, offering them economic aid to convert them to Christianity.”
According to the Islamic extremist, this attitude is “highly regrettable” because “Islam is a religion of peace and harmony, which protects minorities. However,” he warned, “anti-Islamic activities cannot be tolerated.”
