OTTAWA – Newcomers to Canada are now getting a beefed up guide to Canadian life that includes brand new chapters on the monarchy and the military.

Immigration Minister Jason Kenney says the revamped Welcome to Canada guide is also blunt about what is unacceptable in the country.

“Female genital mutilation and so-called ‘honour-based’ crimes are barbaric and will not be tolerated in Canada,” said Kenney in Vancouver. “It also informs readers that forced marriages and polygamy are illegal here.”

The Daily Mail is one of two news services I have found so far that has not deliberately falsified the event to avoid mentioning that the murderer was doing it for Islamic reasons. There needs to be many giant class action suits against the legacy media for trying to shape opinion by lying to the public in such a systemic way.

Witnesses say the 25-year-old man accused of walking into an Ohio church and fatally shooting his father after an Easter service Sunday was yelling about God and Allah after the killing.

Police say Reshad Riddle walked into the Hiawatha Church of God in Christ in Ashtabula and killed his father, 52-year-old Richard Riddle, with a single shot from a handgun Sunday afternoon.

Associate Pastor Sean Adams said Reshad then continued into the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was ‘the will of Allah. This is the will of God.’

Adams told The (Ashtabula) Star Beacon newspaper that worshippers started screaming, ducking down and calling 911 on cellphones after the shooting.

‘It was terrifying,’ Adams told the newspaper.

‘The children were screaming and people were dialing 911. We were afraid to breathe.’

Reshad Riddle was quickly subdued by officers, who arrived just moments after the shooting. They say he has been mostly cooperative.

The Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland reported that another church pastor said congregants were leaving when they heard a gunshot.

‘People pushed me into a back office and said, “Somebody’s here with a gun,”‘ said the Reverend David Howard Jr.

‘The guy was outside hollering and acting crazy.’

He said the church has about 175 members, none of whom knew what led to the shooting.

‘It’s such a tragic loss,’ Crockett said.

County Coroner Pamela Lancaster said Richard Riddle’s wound was ‘immediately fatal.’

Ashtabula Police Chief Robert Stell said the younger Riddle offered no motive for the shooting.

‘Witnesses at the scene said the shooter entered church and made some references to Allah, but we are not sure if that was a motive or if there was a family problem,’ Stell said.

Ashtabula Police have identified the suspect and victim from Sunday’s church shooting at the Hiawatha Church of God and Christ in Ashtabula.

The incident happened around 1:15 p.m. outside the church.

According to police, Reshad Riddle waited for his father, Richard Riddle to exit the church after services were over Sunday before shooting him in the head.

Richard Riddle’s mother witnessed the shooting although most of the congregation was still inside the church.

The church was packed because of the Easter holiday.

A lecturer in the University of California in Santa Cruz came under fire for accusing two Muslim students associations of having connections to Hamas and Hezbollah in a lecture given at an off-campus event in June 2012.

In a video posted on YouTube in February 2013, lecturer Tammi Rossman-Benjamin, who teaches Hebrew at UCSC, is shown addressing a crowd at Temple Ahavath Torah.

Benjamin is shown describing students from the Muslim Students Association and Students for Justine in Palestine as often being foreign students arriving at American universities from Muslim countries where they are “fed on a diet of anti-Semitism.”

Mother arrested for burning daughter

PLANTATION, Fla. (WSVN) — A Middle Eastern South Florida resident was arrested Friday for allegedly burning her teenage daughter with a heated knife.

Authorities said 35-year-old Sahar Thabit, who was born in Yemen, was punishing her 17-year-old daughter for befriending and talking to a boy online in defiance of her family, who want her to marry her cousin. She has been charged with three counts of child abuse causing grave bodily harm.

“This was pretty bad, because there were burn marks on both arms,” said Somy Ali, president of No More Tears, a non-profit organization that assists victims of domestic violence. Ali said the victim had three identical burn marks on each forearm.

Hollywood Police said Thabit burned her daughter in early January. Officials at South Broward High School became aware of the victim’s burns when the teenager’s classmate told the assistant principal her parents were furious when they found out about their daughter’s online friendship.

WASHINGTON: A Turkish woman was sentenced to five years in jail by a US court on charges of sending money to a terrorist outfit in Pakistan for attacks against American military personnel.

40-year-old Oytun Ayse Mihalik, a lawful permanent resident of the US residing in California, had pleaded guilty last August to one count of providing material support to terrorists.

When she pleaded guilty, Mihalik specifically admitted that she provided money to an individual in Pakistan with the intention that the money would be used to prepare for and carry out attacks against US military personnel and other persons overseas, the US Justice Department said today.

Tucker is scheduled next week at the Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse to punish Orange County resident Oytun Ayse Mihalik, 38, a Turkey native who used a fake, Americanized name, Cindy Palmer, in her efforts to supply more than $4,000 to Islamic terrorists in 2010 and 2011. The U.S. government is seeking a 12-year prison trip for Mihalik. She is hoping for a whopping 10-year reduction. If she wins her argument, she could be set free in about six months, as she has been in the custody of U.S. marshals for 18 months.

Deanna Ballman Murder: Ali Salim, Ohio doctor, charged in 2012 murder of pregnant woman

Deanna Ballman, 23, was nine-months pregnant when she was found dead Aug. 1, 2012 in a vehicle parked near a road northeast of Columbus, Ohio.

(CBS/AP) DELAWARE, Ohio – A central Ohio doctor was charged Wednesday with rape and two counts of murder in the death of a pregnant woman, whose body was found last summer in her car after she had headed to a house-cleaning job listed in an online ad.

Ali Salim of New Albany was indicted by a Delaware County grand jury on nine felony counts in the deaths of 23-year-old Deanna Ballman of Pataskala and her unborn child.

Ballman, who lived in Pataskala and was nine-months pregnant, was reported missing the day before her body was found Aug. 1 in a vehicle parked near a road northeast of Columbus. A coroner determined she died of acute heroin intoxication.

Relatives said she had gone to a New Albany house-cleaning job listed in an online classified ad. Her mother said Ballman called saying she wasn’t feeling well, and then the call was dropped.

Salim, 44, was indicted on two counts each of murder and tampering with evidence, as well as single counts of rape, assault, kidnapping, corrupting another with drugs and abuse of a corpse.

I find it highly offensive when news media report a forced marriage as an arranged one. It is a lot like reporting rape as a weekend at Club Hedonism Jamaica. Not that rape doesn’t happen there of course.

A 55-year-old suspect in the stabbing of two people in a Starbucks coffee shop drive-thru at one of the busiest intersections in Clark County may have been motivated by religious extremism, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Scott C. Fandrich of Ridgefield appeared Tuesday in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault.

Judge Barbara Johnson set bail at $500,000. Fandrich is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges March 22. Vancouver attorney Jack “John” Peterson was appointed to defend him.

Fandrich wore an orange jumpsuit and limped into the courtroom. In a low voice, he mumbled answers to questions from Senior Deputy Prosecutor Camara Banfield.

Fandrich is accused of attacking Jerry Kush, who is either 70 or 71, just before 5 p.m. in the Starbucks drive-thru at 11502 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., in Cascade Park, after the two had a conversation about religion, according to court records.

The affidavit said:

Hamza A. Shariati, 21, told police that he had met Fandrich at about 2 p.m. Monday to discuss religion. During their conversation at one of the cafe’s tables, Kush approached and chatted with Fandrich about cars and religion.

When Kush got up and left, Fandrich followed him out of the building, Shariati said. Then, Shariati said, he heard sirens.

Shariati told police that Fandrich had made statements in the past about “his willingness to die for Islam.” He said he knows that Fandrich “has conflicts with people.”

Kush was stabbed at least five times in the neck, abdomen and the side of the chest and had to undergo emergency surgery Monday night at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

Church offers prayer space for Muslim community

It still stuns me that no one asks the question as to why Muslims seem to have to have space everywhere they go for their political and ‘religious’ activities in highly inappropriate locations. A university for example is not a mosque. Neither is a school and certainly not a church. One of the speakers at least admits albeit accidentally, that a mosque is ‘much more than a place to worship’ and ‘multi-faith’ does not mean sitting around admiring the similarities in religions but to advance the Islamic agenda.
