This speech on Turkey was given by Dutch Freedom Party parliamentarian, Wim Kortenoeven, at the OCSE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) meeting yesterday (9.10.2011), and was handed to the Tundra Tabloids for publication by an anonymous source. The Dutch PVV representative’s remarks in regards to the state of Turkish affairs are clear and well versed, the current Turkish regime presents a danger for the entire region. KGS

Dear Editor,

Sorry for the delay, but I was ‘on the road’ until now. Yesterday afternoon in Dubrovnik, I delivered a speech at the OSCE meeting on peace and security in the Mediterranean (you received the text).  I did not make friends with this. But it had to be said, As no reference had been made to the Turkish agression. And that is absurd, considering that the OSCE is dealing with peace and security in Europe.

All delegates were busy with the so called Arab spring and/or with bashing Israel. I was the only one referring to the Turkish agression.

And the Turks responded with villainous accusations against me (I had issued an ‘anti peace declaration’) and a vicious attack against Israel: shooting innocents in the head and in the back, point blank, on the Flottilla ship last year.

There was complete silence when I spoke and I got no applaus. And a wave of resentment engulfed the hall after I had finished. And even my Dutch colleagues (of the ruling Christian Democratic Party) distanced themselves from me – publicly, in a very harsh statement. The world is in state of denial.

Remarks by Wim Kortenoeven, Dutch delegation to the OCSE conference in Dubrovnik, 9 October 2011 (meeting on security in the Mediterranean area).

Mister chairman,

I am addressing this meeting on behalf of the Dutch Party for Freedom.

As we speak, the peace in the Mediterranean is being threatened, by Turkish imperialism, by dangerous dreams to re-establish the Turkish Caliphate that was abolished in 1923.

We are witnessing the death of Kemalism, the positive ideology that transformed Turkey into a valuable, responsible and respected member of the international community.

But now, Turkey is sliding into the abyss of Islamic extremism and authoritarianism. This is visible on the inside and on the outside.

For instance: the freedom of speech in Turkey is increasingly suppressed. Many journalists have been jailed for speaking out. The Turkish cartoonist Bahadir Baruter is to be tried for renouncing Allah in a cartoon. He might get a year in jail for that.

Cyprus, a member State of the European Union, has been partly occupied by Turkey since the brutal invasion of 1974.

And now the Erdogan regime is turning Turkey into a predator state, a rogue state, that apparently also wants to seize the oil and gas reserves in the eastern Mediterranean. Reserves that it does not own.

Threats are being issued in the direction of Cyprus. Strong Turkish military forces have been deployed on and near Cyprus.

Mister chairman,

Turkey, a member state of NATO, is also increasingly belligerent towards the Jewish State of Israel. Threats and baseless accusations are issued against Israel – ever more frequently. And provocations are rampant. Israeli freighters are harressed by Turkish warships.

Turkey also objects to Israel’s legitimate desire to drill for natural gas in its own exclusive economic zone. Turkish warships are backing up threats against Israel’s sovereignty.

A simple mistake in this combustible situation might spark a military confrontation.

Also troubling and dangerous are Turkey’s sympathy for the Hamas terror organization and Turkey’s attempts to undermine Israel’s legitimate right to supervise the maritime routes to Gaza.

Mr. Chairman,

The situation is extremely dangerous.

This irresponsible Turkish policy of threats, insults and provocations, this macho bellegerency, needs to be urgently adressed. As it is a clear and present danger to peace and security in the Mediterranean and even beyond.

Therefore, I urge you to ad this Turkish threat to peace and security to the agenda of the Winter session of the OSCE.

THE NEW DEMOCRATIC LIBYA: SEND THE JEW HOME……!

This is the reason why no one, and I mean no one should be greatly enthusiastic over the so called “Arab Spring”. The overwhelming majority of the rebels are not western style liberal democrats, they’re fundamustards, with a smattering of soon-to-be-discarded secular leaning student types and Leftists. Following calls for deportation, Gerbi to return to Rome

Angry protesters gather in Tripoli to demand deportation of Libyan Jew David Gerbi, who has been trying to reopen a sealed synagogue.

A few hundred angry protesters gathered in central Tripoli on the eve of Yom Kippur on Friday, calling for the deportation of a Libyan Jew who has been trying to reopen a synagogue sealed since ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi expelled the country’s Jewish community in 1967.

The protesters carried signs reading, “There is no place for the Jews in Libya,” and “We don’t have a place for Zionism.”

The crowds tried to storm Italian Libyan Jewish psychoanalyst David Gerbi’s Corinthia Hotel in central Tripoli. There was also a demonstration in Benghazi in the east of the country.

According to Gerbi, the crowd wanted to forcibly remove him from the hotel.

FINNISH GOVERNMENT SPONSORS HATE FEST ‘PEACE FORUM’ IN HELSINKI ON 15.10.2011

Folks, there’s an old adage that says: “Anytime the words Peace Forum are used in the same sentence with the words Middle East or Israel, it means an event actually organized to demonize the Jewish state.” That’s it in a nut shell.

What else can come from an event headed by the radical, anti-Israel voice of Bruno Jäntti,founder of the Finnish branch of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD), Illan Pappé, a petty pseudo scholar that’s guilty of penning nearly every anti-Israel trope and mixed up notion of modern Israeli history known within the anti-Israel movement.

And then there is Ali Abunimah, co-founder of the Electronic Intifada, which is plagued by modern day anti-Semitism. In a JPost article, NGO monitor informs that EI regularlyequates Israeli policies with that of the Nazis, something of which by the way, violates theEU’s own working definition of anti-Semitism.

So THE QUESTION that arises here is, why is the Finnish Ministry of Education sponsoring this event? Does the Finnish government know about these individuals that they are sponsoring, and of the hatred that they spread of the Jewish state, and if so, are they then in approval of their hate speech? EGYPTIAN IMAM LEARNS NYPD HAD HIS MOSQUE UNDER SURVEILLANCE, CRIES FOUL

It’s irrelevant that nothing found inside his mosque warranted prosecuting, the NYPD are just doing their job, they have to investigate these mosques. The fact that this Egyptian imam,Reda Shata, isn’t happy about the NYPD’s vigilance is an indicator that he more than likely views all investigations of mosques to be unwarranted. He may not be involved in anything illegal, but he nonetheless wants to ensure the possibility of uncovering illegality in other mosques in the future is greatly hampered.

The facts remain that in the past, the very same “moderate” Muslim leaders touted for their pacifism and general soft approach to Islam, proved to be otherwise. That lesson was learned by the various law officials and it speaks highly of them and of their ability to learn from past mistakes. KGS

NYPD spied on city’s Muslim anti-terror partners

NEW YORK (AP) – Reda Shata considered himself a partner in New York’s fight against terrorism. He cooperated with the police and FBI,invited officers to his mosque for breakfast, even dined with MayorMichael Bloomberg.

Despite the handshakes and photo ops, however, the New York Police Department was all the while watching the Egyptian sheik. Even as Shata’s story was splashed across the front page of The New YorkTimes in a Pulitzer Prize-winning series about Muslims in America, an undercover officer and an informant were assigned to monitor him, and two others kept tabs on his mosque that same year.

“What did they find?” Shata asked through an interpreter at his current mosque in Monmouth County, N.J., after learning about the secret surveillance. “It’s a waste of time and a waste of money.”

Shata welcomed FBI agents to his mosque to speak to Muslims, invitedNYPD officers for breakfast and threw parties for officers who were leaving the precinct during his time at the Islamic Center of Bay Ridge.As police secretly watched him in 2006, he had breakfast and dinner with Bloomberg at Gracie Mansion and was invited to meet with Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly, Shata recalls.

“This is very sad,” he said after seeing his name in the NYPD file. “What is your feeling if you see this about people you trusted?”

“Yet in 2006, the NYPD infiltrated two mosques where Shamsi Ali holds leadership roles—the Islamic Cultural Center of New York and the Jamaica Muslim Center. The NYPD cited radical rhetoric and possible money laundering in the Islamic Cultural Center of New York and said the Jamaica Muslim Center was a hub of radicalization that offered martial arts training. Shamsi Ali said he was unaware of the police assessments and denied the underlying accusations.

“How do you define rhetoric?” Shamsi Ali asked. He said some imams sound harsh when they’re preaching. And, if the NYPD suspected money laundering, it should ask the Internal Revenue Service to audit the mosque, he said.

“It’s wrong to view Muslims as radicals simply because of the outfit,” Shamsi Ali said.”

An Egyptian Jew in Exile: An Interview with Bat Ye’or

I first encountered Gisèle Littman, better known as “Bat Ye’or,” through her book, The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians under Islam while browsing through a Judaica section of a Barnes & Noble book store in Westport, Connecticut in 1985.  Reading it opened my mind to the historical evidence of the subjugated treatment of Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims under shari’a in the wake of Islamic Jihad over conquered lands. Her book threw into considerable doubt the then fashionable medievalist commentary that Jews and Christians had been well treated in Al Andaluz, Muslim Spain and in the far reaches of the Caliphate of the Ottoman Empire. Bat Ye’or’s penetrating historical analysis in The Dhimmi was followed by further investigations into the plight of Christians under the system of Islamic shari’a  “dhimmitude.”  Dhimmitude as an historical concept, was coined by Bat Ye’or in 1983 to describe the legal and social conditions of Jews and Christians subjected to Islamic rule. The word dhimmitude comes from dhimmi, an Arabic word meaning “protected.” Bat Ye’or, through her latter writings plumbed the depths of Islamization of Europe with her major work, Eurabia: The Euro Arab Axis and the recently published, Europe Globalization and the Coming Universal Caliphate. See our review in this edition.

I first met Bat Ye’or and her husband David Littman over a decade ago at a lecture at Brown University arranged by Andrew Bostom, then in the midst of research for his books, The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Treatment of Non-Muslims and The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism: From Sacred texts to Solemn History.  In 2003, Bat Ye’or spoke at my synagogue in Fairfield, Connecticut. The matter came up about what topic to discuss. Her National Review article, a precursor to Eurabia, had recently been published. Colleagues, Fred Leder, Judith Greenberg, Dr. Richard L. Rubenstein and I agreed it should be about the threat of Islamization to Europe, the isolation of Israel and the Jewish people. When Eurabia was published in 2005, Dr. Rubenstein and I attended Bat Ye’or’s lecture at Columbia University. We next met when she returned to New York in 2007 to give several lectures on her views about Islamization in Europe. She had been invited by a faculty member to lecture on these topics to a class of future staff officers at the US Army Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Less well known is the saga of Bat Ye’or’s family ejection from Egypt as stateless persons following the first Sinai War in 1956. Deprived of resources they made their way to exile in England. This interview with Bat Ye’or focuses on her experience and that of her family as Jews in Egypt during this tumultuous period following the founding of the State of Israel and the Free Officers Movement coup in Egypt. It touches on her family heritage; her meeting with her future husband while both were students at London University’s Institute of Archeology, their marriage and their little known exploits in clandestinely saving Moroccan Jewish children and enabling their emigration to Israel. Both Bat Ye’or and her husband David Littman were honored in 2009 for this rescue known by Littman’s code name, Operation Mural.

FORMER LEADER OF AUSTRALIAN EDL WANTED BY BRITISH POLICE, HAS INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE OF POLICE BRUTALITY

The Tundra Tabloids has just learned from Martin Brennan, a former leader of the Australian EDL, is being sought after by the British police for some unknown reason.

According to Brennan, he has participated in the Tower Hamlets demonstration, as well as the wreath laying ceremony at the American embassy in downtown London on 9/11. He also  attended with the EDL Anjem Choudary’s disgraceful gathering for the purpose of burning the US flag on the same day.

Martin says he also took the time to hurl some insults at Choudary and his group on the day, during which time he was assaulted by a police officer.  He managed to record footage of this.

Martin Brennan also informs the TT that he has on his phone some video from the 9/11 demo. He was outside the main body of the EDL, and so captured some interesting things there. He was supposed to head back to a friend’s house to upload it to a pc and then to youtube, but changed his mind and stayed on in town.

According to an anonymous source, police intelligence have just been around to a friend’s house looking for him, offering money for  intelligence on Brennan. He said he didn’t know where Martin was. According to the anonymous source, the police said: “we’ll pay for you to go to some demos plus a bit of extra in your pockets to tell us who’s who and what’s what”. That’s a direct quote from Martin according to the anonymous source.

According to the unnamed source, Matthew’s response was a rather direct:”F* off, I”ll do ten years in prison instead.”

But back to Martin. The long arm of British law is crashing down on dissent, it appears that having video footage of a police officer breaking the law is the catalyst for the hunt. After all, while he was filming them, they were filming him. If he does indeed have video evidence of police brutality against EDL members, then there would be a need to get it before it’s uploaded to You Tube. KGS

 

 

FINNISH POLICE FINALLY ADMIT TERROR SUSPECTS LINKED TO SOMALIA’S AL-SHABAB

Well, at least that confirms what the Tundra Tabloids reported over a week ago, that they were Somalis. We also now know, officially, what the TT knew and reported over five years ago, that Somalis in Finland are waging jihad in the homeland with al-Qaida terrorists. KGS

Police: terrorist suspects linked to al-Shabab

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has confirmed that two persons detained on suspicion of engaging in the recruitment and financing of terrorists are Somali citizens.

Finnish police say that a man and woman arrested on suspicion of financing terrorism and terror recruitment are linked to al-Shabab, Somalia’s most powerful militant group.

The suspects say they sent small amounts of money to Somalia. The 34-year-old man is also suspected of recruiting at least one person abroad to commit an act of terrorism overseas.

The male suspect has lived in Finland since 2005 and has applied for Finnish citizenship. He has held a number of jobs in Finland and has also been self-employed. The 28-year-old woman, a student, arrived in the country in 2008.
