In a recent conversation with a friend the insight came up that the extent to which communist/socialist horrors are being expunged and redacted from any public record is staggering. Stephen Harper, the right leader for a Canada not yet ready for that degree of wake-up call, had proposed a monument to the victims of communism. Anyone having read the Gulag Archipelago, or even listening to a friend who’s family is from behind the iron curtain would know its an idea way past due and urgently needed.
The Trudeau government using its usual eel like incremental deceptions, managed to flush the idea both from its legislated location, and eventually so that it would not be built at all.
Why is that I wonder?
ANd in that spirit, the spirit of massively reawakened antisemitism coupled with Holocaust denial, coupled with Holocaust 2.0, Islamic removal of Jews from Europe, then everywhere, I felt it was a good idea to post this:

Maxine Waters is skipping Trump’s #SOTU speech. Maybe she would rather hang out with her racist anti-semite friend Louis Farrakhan, who said “Hitler was a great man.” pic.twitter.com/1CuyZdS9cJ

Why doesn’t Wendy Mesley give her the treatment she gave Jordan Peterson?

Comments welcome. If it is indeed what it appears to be, some fairly hard-core antisemitism, I would suggest that this has been renormalized by Islam, and by the left, which statistics show are the overwhelming majority of antisemitic events.
It did not take long at all for the American left to go full, Animal Farm.
Participants of the 21st annual Chicago Dyke March, a parade geared towards members of the city’s lesbian community, found themselves on Saturday at the center of controversy.
The Dyke March was founded by a collective that billed the event as more inclusive and social justice-oriented than the more well-known and mainstream Chicago Pride Parade.
According to a report in The Windy City Times, the three members were told to leave the parade because the flags “made people feel unsafe” and that the Dyke March was a “anti-Zionist, pro-Palestinian” space.
The expelled Jewish members said that “there’s nothing offensive about this flag. It’s a statement of Jewish identity.”
“It was a flag from my congregation which celebrates my queer, Jewish identity which I have done for over a decade marching in the Dyke March with the same flag,” Laurel Grauer, one of the participants, told the Chicago-based publication.
As to the American Jewish left, sympathy has now run out. your going to get what you brought onto yourselves. Its not like this has never happened before.
