Ohio bans pork for all prisoners after Muslim inmate sues to get halal food

From Jihad Watch:

Here yet again we see dhimmi authorities responding to Islamic supremacist demands by effectively imposing Sharia restrictions upon non-Muslims. An update on this story. “Ohio’s response to Muslim lawsuit over prison meal preparation riles state pork industry,” by Andrew Welsh-Huggins for the Associated Press, October 5 (thanks to Twostellas):

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A decision by Ohio officials to remove all pork products from prison menus in response to a lawsuit by Muslim inmates is not sitting well with the state’s pork producers and processors.

SYRIA: US AMBASSADOR PELTED WITH STONES AND TOMATOES

From ANSAMED:

29 September , 15:52

(ANSAmed) – BEIRUT, SEPTEMBER 29 – The American Ambassador to Syria, Robert Ford, was attacked this morning in Damascus by a group of loyalists who threw stones and tomatoes at the U.S. official immediately after he visited a well-known dissident. So reports pan-Arab TV network Al Arabiya, which cited eyewitnesses. By the end of August ambassador Ford was also attacked in the centre of Damascus by loyalist demonstrators. One of them tried to wrap a banner depicting Syrian President Bashar al Assad around the US envoy. Eyewitnesses quoted by al Arabiya report that the attack on Ford and the diplomatic convoy that accompanied him took place near the house of Hassan Abdel Azim, an elderly dissident and leader of a coalition of illegal parties. Azim has repeatedly asked the regime to end the bloody repression of anti-government demonstrators.

Last week French ambassador Eric Chevalier was pelted by a group of loyalists armed with sticks, stones, eggs and tomatoes in the old centre of Damascus. This attack took place immediately after his meeting with the leader of the Orthodox Church in Syria. Both ambassadors had been showing their support to the popular uprising in public since June, before moving to Hama, the heart of the rebellion where they met the demonstrators.

After that they visited Jassem, a town in the southern region of Daraa, the activists’ main stronghold. Chevalier and Ford were present two weeks ago at the funeral ceremony for Ghiyath Matar, a young activist from Daraya, suburb of Damascus, and leader of the peaceful protest movement. She was arrested and killed under torture by the security services. According to the eyewitnesses, two cars of the US embassy have been damaged, and dozens of loyalists are still surrounding the house of the opposition member. (ANSAmed).

AMERICAN MUSLIM CAUGHT TRYING TO BLOW UP PENTAGON, OTHER MAJOR TARGETS

It’s funny how they kept stating he was an American and what school he went to, that no-one ever thought to ask the question that actually matters.

‘What mosque did he attend?’

More from the BBC here. Some interesting details. He was delighted that he believed his cell-phone detonators had killed US soldiers

UCMuslim Student Defendents in Orange County Trial

The Orange County (CA) Register photo

Victory at last against Muslim intimidation of free speech on college campuses. The so-called UC Irvine Ten, who disrupted the speech on February 8, 2010 of Israeli Ambassador to the US, Hon. Michael B. Oren, were found guilty in a Santa Ana, California Superior Court trial. This was the culmination of a grand jury investigation into the incident at the UC Irvine campus instigated by student members of the UC Irvine Muslim Student Union and the UC Riverside Muslim student association. Both groups are Muslim Brotherhood fronts in America.

The controversial trial was brought in February, 2011 by Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas despite threats of intimidation by CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood groups that the students’ free speech rights were violated. We had posted on the trial background and developments, here.

The Orange County Register noted the jury’s decision, the prosecutors and defense attorneys’ reactions after the verdict was reached yesterday. The sentencing phase at a hearing today in the Santa Ana courtroom of Judge Wilson will determine whether students will be sentenced to serve up to six months for the misdemeanor.

A jury Thursday found 10 Muslim university students guilty of disrupting a speech by an Israeli diplomat at UC Irvine last year, in a case that focused on free speech.

Aboriginals demand the right to exclude black people from their lands.

I did find more material on it and frankly, I can’t remember now if I posted it or not. But tonight Blazing Cat Fur sent me this link from MSNBC and hell now its mainstream.

I really look forward to reading the comments on this one.

Cherokee Indians: We are free to oust blacks

US government wants second-largest Indian tribe to recognize as citizens 2,800 descendants of slaves that were held by Cherokees

OKLAHOMA CITY — The nation’s second-largest Indian tribe said on Tuesday that it would not be dictated to by the U.S. government over its move to banish 2,800 African Americans from its citizenship rolls.

“The Cherokee Nation will not be governed by the BIA,” Joe Crittenden, the tribe’s acting principal chief, said in a statement responding to the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Crittenden, who leads the tribe until a new principal chief is elected, went on to complain about unnamed congressmen meddling in the tribe’s self-governance.

The reaction follows a letter the tribe received on Monday from BIA Assistant Secretary Larry Echo Hawk, who warned that the results of the September 24 Cherokee election for principal chief will not be recognized by the U.S. government if the ousted members, known to some as “Cherokee Freedmen,” are not allowed to vote.

The dispute stems from the fact that some wealthy Cherokee owned black slaves who worked on their plantations in the South. By the 1830s, most of the tribe was forced to relocate to present-day Oklahoma, and many took their slaves with them. The so-called Freedmen are descendants of those slaves.

After the Civil War, in which the Cherokee fought for the South, a treaty was signed in 1866 guaranteeing tribal citizenship for the freed slaves.

The U.S. government said that the 1866 treaty between the Cherokee tribe and the U.S. government guaranteed that the slaves were tribal citizens, whether or not they had a Cherokee blood relation.

Muslim taxi drivers in New York win battle to take down strip club ads from their roofs

From The Daily Mail:

By Paul Bentley

Last updated at 8:22 PM on 16th September 2011

Muslim taxi drivers in New York have won a controversial battle to take down adverts for strip clubs from their roofs.

The religious drivers had challenged rules which prevented them from objecting to certain adverts being placed on their vehicles – even if they owned them.

But in a landmark ruling, the city’s Taxi & Limousine Commission finally agreed yesterday to allow them to decide to opt out of displaying ads which offend their beliefs.
