Peshawar mosque blown up during Friday prayers

We don’t know much about this yet, but I feel pretty confident in speculating that it was a muslim who did it of one stripe or another. After all, if you can count on the religion-of-peace to do one thing consistently, its to attack and kill enemies as they perceive it. Also as muslims know that mosques are more beachhead than place of worship they have far less compunction about blowing them up than we, who are so fooled about their true nature that we won’t do proper surveillance on them despite the fact that pretty much every terrorist attack is planned in one.

Iraqi Suicide Bombers Hit Baghdad Mosque, Kill 34

Two suicide bombers targeted a Shiite mosque in Baghdad on Tuesday, one blowing himself up at a nearby checkpoint while the other slipped inside during prayers. The blasts killed 34 people, Iraqi officials said.

The coordinated bombings were the latest in a string of attacks to hit Iraq, reviving fears the country is headed back toward the widespread sectarian bloodshed that pushed it to the brink of civil war in 2006 and 2007.

Two police officers said the first bomber detonated his explosives at a security checkpoint near the mosque in Baghdad’s northern Qahira neighborhood in an apparent attempt to distract the authorities. The area is a middle-class, Shiite-majority neighborhood.

Caution: The video below appears to be of the mosque shortly after the bomb where jubilant muslims, excited to a state of religious frenzy by the stench of fresh death, all shout allahu ackbar to the body parts on the carpet.

The muslim equivalent of gay sex. Intra-sect fighting

Today in London a brawl broke out between two groups of muslims with anjem Choudary on one side of it.

It reminds me of a line from one of my favorite movies, ‘Deterence’, where the actress playing a role similar enough to Condaleezah Rice says the following to the person playing the president elect:

“The thing about jihad is, you know when you lost. But you can’t know when you won. Because when do you ever stop fighting for allah?”

I always felt this was a profound observation. Islam has one criteria only that pretty much guarantees a persons place in Mohamed’s-beer-and-brothel-in-the-sky, afterlife.

That criteria is to murder someone to advance the glory and authority of islam. This being the case, even if the entire world was islamic, individual religious muslims would be obliged to murder members of other sects of islam as apostates or heretics, and even if the whole world was all in the same subsection of the cult of islam, the more religious elements would feel obliged to look for data points they could spin as evidence, true or not, that others where not sufficiently observant and therefore, legitimate targets.

So if they can’t get a target amongst the non-muslim world they will take one from the greater muslim one. Hence the title. Like prison-homosexuality. Not preferred, but it will do in a pinch.

Egypt suspends tourist flights to Iran after protests

Remember the recent riots by religious Sunnis, ironically, against the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt because they were getting too chummy with the psychos running Iran? It seems the schism remains intact as a result.

Global Post:

Flights from Iran will be halted until mid-June as Egypt re-evaluates decision to allow Shiite Iranian tourists into the majority Sunni nation.

Egypt has decided to suspend flights from Iran until mid-June as it re-evaluates its recent decision to allow tourists from the predominantly Shiite nation to visit largely Sunni Egypt.

The first direct flight between the two nations in decades took off March 30, soon after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited Egypt in February — a development that some Egyptians, primarily Sunnis, found distressing.

Egyptians storm Iranian ‘Embassy’ in Cairo

This is indeed an interesting development. It should be known that there have been no diplomatic relations between Egypt and Iran since the Iranian regime named a major street in Tehran after the man who murdered Anwar Sadat because Sadat made a peace deal with Israel.  After the MB gained political power in Egypt there has been steady progress towards normalization of relations between the two countries and Iran’s president actually made a trip to Cairo.

So its a rather delicious irony that the ultra religious sunni cultists have decided to attack the Iranian building holding the low level diplomatic mission in Egypt because they are the wrong flavour of Islam.

Gives one hope doesn’t it? Eventually the dragon does have to eat it’s own tail.

Thanks Magic Martin.

  • Salafists to hold conference against ‘spread of Shia doctrine in Egypt’
  • Cairo, Tehran inch closer
  • Dozens of protesters attempted to storm the residence of the Iranian chargé d’affaires in Cairo on Friday.

The protesters, mostly Salafists, threw stones at the building and daubed offensive slogans on the outer wall.

They chanted against Iran, Shias and the Muslim Brotherhood and in support of the Syrian opposition.

“Let all the Muslim Brothers hear, we will not accept relations between Egypt and Iran,” the protesters chanted. “Iranian ambassador, Egypt will not be Shia, Egypt is a Sunni country” and “Egypt and Syria are one hand.

Qatar and Iran on rival missions to make films about prophet Muhammad

Now this should be like the 4th of july every day for a year. We have seen the kinds of savagery the Islamic world does when a minor shmoe makes a 17 min low budget clip on the facts of Mohamed’s origins. Riots are staged all over the world, sharia law is demanded by every bearded clam from Montreal to Sydney Australia and diplomatic missions are burned and danced upon to cries of Allah hu Ackbar by everybody with a Wee Willie Winkie costume. Which is nearly everyone in Pakistan it turns out.

Imagine the fireworks when the Shiia and Sunni turn out simultaneous big budget state sponsored biographies of the pirate Mohamed with one insisting that a boy trapped in a well is the ultimate solution to the whole, ‘let’s make the world Islamic’ problem as opposed to the Sunni philosophy of just killing everyone all over the place.

If it is possible to buy short on an entire region of the world, now is the time to short the middle east.

Duelling biopics of Muhammad reflect differing traditions of Sunni and Shia Islam over depiction of the Muslim prophet

Film-makers in Iran and Qatar are planning rival biopics about the life of Muslim prophet Muhammad, according to the Hollywood Reporter, despite the risk of offending religious sensibilities that such plans inevitably throw up.

Oil-rich Qatar recently announced a series of epics designed for a worldwide audience about the seventh-century prophet of Islam. Production company Alnoor Holdings has hired Lord of the Rings producer Barrie Osborne and Sunni Islam scholar and al-Jazeera broadcaster Yusuf al-Qaradawi to provide advice on what could be a $1bn project. “They certainly have the money to do it,” Osborne told the Hollywood Reporter, adding: “They are being understandably very cautious.”

Pakistani soldier, 27, stoned to death after falling in love with tribeswoman

Lets get multiculturalism to work between sunnis and shiia before we start mandating it for the rest of us.

    Daily Mail:

    • Punjab native Anwar Din posted in country’s northwestern Kurram region
    • He met Intizar Bibi, 19, while manning a checkpost near her home
    • The two had a romantic relationship, it is claimed, and tried to elope
    • Din killed on Monday and local tribe has ruled woman must be shot to death

A Pakistani soldier was publicly stoned to death on the order of a tribal court for having an affair with a local woman, it has been claimed today.

Punjab native Anwar Din, 27, was posted in the country’s northwestern Kurram region last year to the Parachinar area where he met Intizar Bibi, 19, while manning a checkpost near her home.

The two embarked on a romantic relationship, tribal sources and government officials said, and he tried to elope with her when he was later posted to the disputed Kashmir region.

It was not immediately clear what evidence there was, if any, of a romance.

‘The girl left her home on Monday and met Anwar Din when villagers saw them,’ said Munir Hussain, the head of the local jirga, or tribal court, that sentenced Din to death.

‘We took the girl into custody and took the boy to the local graveyard where he was stoned to death and buried.’

Din was killed on Monday, he added. A government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the jirga had ruled the woman must be shot to death. It was not immediately clear if this had already taken place.

The army was not immediately available for comment.

Such tribal justice is a stark reminder of the difficulty in establishing a credible civilian administration in Pakistan’s semi-autonomous region bordering Afghanistan, despite a series of military operations in the area and Western nations pouring in millions of dollars to help build infrastructure.

Kurram, the only part of Pakistan’s largely lawless border region that has a significant Shi’ite population, is wracked by sectarian violence between Sunni and Shi’ite tribes. Anti-Shi’ite ideology from the Taliban and al Qaeda has meant years of bloody fighting.

Bibi is Shi’ite while Din was Sunni, Hussain added.

    The religion of eternal peace.

As most who read this site likely already know, the term, ‘Religion of Peace’ in reference to Islam was coined by Sayyid Qutb, author of Milestones, and architect of the Muslim Brotherhood and all its achievements including 911 and Al Qaeda. His reasoning was that as Islam will destroy all other systems of control and force the world under a global caliphate and ruled by sharia, the world will know peace as the constant jihad between Islam and the rest of the word will be over.

Of course this is nonsense even if achieved. First of all, Islam pretty much makes it impossible to achieve the afterlife without dying or killing people in jihad to spread Islam. So once all the obvious enemies are destroyed they will have to go after all the various forms of Muslims they feel aren’t authentic ones. Then of course, the authentic branches of Islam will contain people who do not really believe in their hearts and so on.
