WikiLeaks: Montreal mosque ‘is a top Al Qaeda recruiting zone’

A mosque in Montreal has been ranked in the world’s top nine Al Qaeda recruiting zones and linked to a terror cell planning attacks on Los Angeles airport, new released documents claim.
The WikiLeaks files, written by U.S. military chiefs, list the Al Sunnah Al Nabawiah mosque among nine houses of prayer worldwide considered as a place ‘Al Qaeda members were recruited, facilitated or trained’.
The leaked ‘Matrix of Threat’ documents, designed in the early days of the Guantanamo detention centre to assist intelligence officials, rank the Canadian mosque alongside sites in Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The Al Sunnah Al Nabawiah Mosque in Montreal is considered by the U.S. military to be among places where ‘known al-Qaeda members were recruited.’

The mosque, which was also linked to the September 11 attacks, is the only Islamic prayer house in North America listed as a threat in the leaked report.
The classified documents claim the mosque’s former Imam and current Guantanamo inmate, Mohamedou Ould Salahi, was the leader of the Canadian-based Al Qaeda cell.

The Al Sunnah Al Nabawiah Mosque in Montreal was among nine houses of prayer or Islamic institutes worldwide considered by the U.S. military to be places where “known al-Qaeda members were recruited, facilitated or trained,” according to leaked classified American intelligence documents.
According to the Pentagon’s Matrix of Threat Indicators for Enemy Combatants, among documents from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, posted by the New York Times on Sunday, the other mosques or Islamic centres included:

Canadians are on their guard against the growing Islamist threat. After all, the last month alone brought the Boston Marathon bombing, and arrests in Canada of suspected Iranian-linked al-Qaeda bomb-plotters targeting Canada-US passenger train routes. Add to that, repeated stories of Islamist radicalism in Canadian neighborhoods and young Canadian Muslim terrorists abroad.
Against this backdrop, the last thing to be expected at this fraught time would be a public event in Canada’s capital showcasing a radical Islamist, boasting a master of ceremonies from the tax-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, involving a respected mental health foundation, and including the wife of the highest office-holder in the land. Nonetheless, this is what is being planned for Ottawa, this weekend.
The Ottawa Muslim Women’s Organization (OMWO) holds its 12th Annual Festival of Friendship Dinner Sunday evening. The master of ceremonies will be major local CBC personality Lucy van Oldenbarneveld, whose name – along with the official CBC logo – appears on event advertising. Proceeds are to benefit the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health, an arms-length fundraiser for the public Royal Ottawa Hospital. In an email pitching the dinner and attributed to former Liberal Member of Parliament Marlene Catterall, the presence of Her Excellency Sharon Johnston, wife of the Governor General of Canada, is a selling point.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Ingrid Mattson, Chair in Islamic Studies at Huron University College in London, Ontario, an institutional affiliate of the University of Western Ontario. Mattson, a convert from Christianity to Islam, was president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). The United States government designated ISNA an unindicted co-conspirator in the successful Holy Land Foundation terror-funding prosecution. ISNA is included in a key Muslim Brotherhood document as one of the “organizations of our friends.” Other evidence abounds of ISNA’s Brotherhood inspiration and connections.

The Patrick administration clamped down the lid yesterday on Herald requests for details of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s government benefits, citing the dead terror mastermind’s right to privacy.
Across the board, state agencies flatly refused to provide information about the taxpayer-funded lifestyle for the 26-year-old man and his brother and accused accomplice Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19.
On EBT card status or spending, state welfare spokesman Alec Loftus would only say Tamerlan Tsarnaev, his wife and 3-year-old daughter received benefits that ended in 2012. He declined further comment.

Make no mistake. This is a real victory and a very important decision. It restores reason to the Canadian judicial system and moves us back to a more classical definition of what freedom of religion really should mean. The right to worship the god of your choice in the manner of your choice so long as it does not infringe on the rights and freedoms of others, without state persecution.
But it was never meant to mean the right to force others to submit to whatever rituals one imagines the need for in the name of observance of that religion and Islam uses that deception as a battering ram against all of us.
Someone finally said no, and stunningly, it was in Canada.

TORONTO — A man charged in an alleged al-Qaida-directed plot to attack a Via Rail passenger train suggested in court Wednesday that he doesn’t recognize the authority of the Criminal Code because it is “not a holy book.”
Chiheb Esseghaier, 30, of Montreal, asked to address the Toronto courtroom after the five terrorism charges against him were read out.
They are based on the Criminal Code and “we know that this Criminal Code is not a holy book,” Esseghaier said.
“It’s just written by set of creations and the creations they’re not perfect because only the creator is perfect.”
As a result, he said, the “conclusions taken out from these judgments” are unreliable.
The justice of the peace presiding over the case, who had warned him to be careful what he said, ordered Esseghaier detained until his next appearance May 23 via video from a detention centre.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was on welfare, sponsored by tax payers. Tsarnaev, now dead, is suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon last week.
“Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned,” reports the Boston Herald.
“State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter. The state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services said those benefits ended in 2012 when the couple stopped meeting income eligibility limits. Russell Tsarnaev’s attorney has claimed Katherine — who had converted to Islam — was working up to 80 hours a week as a home health aide while Tsarnaev stayed at home.

I think everyone, including Ezra and his Alta. MLA, all know a few basic facts which reveal this clip to be a sort of veneer of the truth.
1. Islamic schools all teach Islam. There are no Islamic schools that teach post-modern leftism or cultural marxism. Not one. A few governments in Eurasia attempted to forge them and the imams were all killed and occasionally the buildings destroyed. One by a British convert to Islam in fact, who was married to a jihadi.
2. In Islam, hatred of gay people, death to apostates, hatred of Jews, dominance of Christians and all other faiths is central dogma. It cannot be avoided and still have a teaching which is recognizable as Islam. Islam has no spiritually enriching component. It’s cohesion is forged through collective loathing of the ‘hated-other’ and through fear of consequences of leaving the group. (This of course is for religious, not cultural Muslims)
3. Jihad, an armed struggle to make Islam the dominant political and legal force in the world and to destroy or enslave all people who do not adhere to the most draconian form of Islam is the most prized vector of the spread of Islam and the pirate Mohamed made up a lot of rewards for a mythical afterlife for all those who die in the process of attaining more material wealth and power for Mohamed, and subsequently his replacements, the various Caliphs.
So when these two fine men, and I mean that sincerely, feign surprise and discuss how to deal with an Islamic school that teaches Islam, well I suppose its a tin step in the right direction but it is a veneer. What is needed is dealing with the truth.
