Taliban: “… and we killed them all.”

The Taliban today took responsibility for the cold blooded murder of 8 medical doctors in Afghanistan calling them “Christian Missionaries”

One has to ask oneself, how the Taliban and indeed Muslims in general, would define a “Christian Missionary” in order to justify slaughtering them for no other reason.

Clearly, Doctors would be busy relieving the pain and suffering of the unwell, and healing injuries, and so creating a crisis of confidence in Islamic doctrine, which seems more about self sacrifice for an abstract Islam as well as hate for all those who are not sufficiently Muslim and of course, killing people.In other words, the chances of these doctors being actual Christian missionaries in any sense that we might understand it is unlikely. But the Taliban felt the need to define them as such in order to slaughter them.

Here is the actual quote of the Taliban who today took ‘credit’ for this slaughter.

“Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed claimed responsibility for the death of eight foreign medics who were found shot dead Aug. 6, AFP reported Aug. 7. Mujahed said, “Yesterday at around 8:00 a.m., one of our patrols confronted a group of foreigners. They were Christian missionaries and we killed them all.”

I don’t know what our troops are doing in Afghanistan, but so long as they are there, I hope they are killing a lot of Taliban.

  2. Alright, I do not condone these killings, and I certainly do not like the Taliban… but an important bit of information was left out of your report.

    The Brisbane Times article (http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news/they-were-christian-missionaries-and-we-killed-them-all-gloats-taliban/story-e6frfku0-1225902522553) says that the Taliban claim that they were carrying Persian Bibles…

    “They were carrying Persian language bibles, a satellite-tracking device and maps.”

    I can understand why Christians would carry ENGLISH language bibles for their own personal prayer, but if this is true, why on EARTH would you go to Afghanistan as ophthalmologists and be carrying PERSIAN language bibles?

    Regardless of the reality of whether or not the Taliban claim has any truth to it, I do believe that the Taliban should be exterminated!

  3. That information was not available when I posted this article. Only that the Taliban claimed they were proselytizing.

  4. I wouldn’t believe a word about these doctors carrying anything remotely offensive to the cultural sensitivies of the Muslims they risked and lost their lives to help. The Taliban and their ilk peg the taqiyya meter off the scale and you can’t take anything they say as truth. And as for we speeding them on their way by spreading the red mist as they are stabbed by our bullets, it happens all the time…it just ain’t reported for opsec reasons. After all, it’s war.

  5. Whatever type of Bible the doctors were carrying, it don’t matter.
    The way to threat the Talibans is how Gengish Khan did at the time when he confronted the Muslims (he sent ambassadors to them and they beheaded them). He devastated Persia, esterminated their cities for killing his ambassadors.
    In his words, when asked:
    “I am the flail of god. Had you not created great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.”

    And always remember his wise words:
    “The greatest joy for a man is to defeat his enemies, to drive them before him, to take from them all they possess, to see those they love in tears, to ride their horses, and to hold their wives and daughters in his arms.”
