Stephen Coughlin takes a close look at the people behind the policies of Social Distancing

1. Narrative Dominance in COVID19 Reporting

In late March, The Federalist Society put out “Inaccurate Virus Models are Panicking Officials into Ill-Advised Lockdowns” by Madeline Osburn.  The article raises questions about the nature and quality of the information relied on by government decision-makers and media when reporting on COVID-19. On the same day, The Federalist’s Twitter account was “temporarily locked for violating the Twitter Rules regarding COVID-19” in another  Federalist article.

Osburn’s concern was that the information used to drive decisions and inform the public was disproportionately coming from COVID Act Now, an organization whose very name signals a progressive posture. And progressive and techie it is. As Osborn notes,

  • Founders of the site include Democratic Rep. Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins and three Silicon Valley tech workers and Democratic activists — Zachary Rosen, Max Henderson, and Igor Kofman — who are all also donors to various Democratic campaigns and political organizations since 2016.
  • Henderson and Kofman donated to the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2016, while
  • Rosen donated to the Democratic National Committee, recently resigned Democratic Rep. Katie Hill and other Democratic candidates.
  • Prior to building the COVID Act Now website, Kofman created an online gamedesigned to raise $1 million for the eventual 2020 Democratic candidate and defeat President Trump. The game’s website is now defunct. […]

2. Formation of a COVID19 Red Team

Unconstrained Analytics, Inc recommends the formation of a Red Team to assess activities associated with the COVID19 Pandemic from a political warfare perspective.

Recognizing the necessity of undertaking all necessary public health measures to protect the population, Unconstrained Analytics, Inc recommends the formation of a Red Team to assess activities associated with the COVID19 Pandemic from a political warfare perspective.

Pandemics constitute a national security threat in their own right and demand an associated targeted intelligence collection effort. There are many aspects to the COVID19 Pandemic that raise red flags.

America is under intense public health, financial, economic, political, regulatory, social, psychological, media, and ideological stress. There are known political warfare scenarios that envision the leveraging of these circumstances to maneuver America into precisely the situation it currently finds itself – a situation that makes it vulnerable to hostile political warfare exploitation. As the Soviets would say, “Comrad, there are no exceptions.” […]

A paragraph from Stephen & Rich’s Re-Remembering The Misremembered Left

Political Warfare recognizes the role narratives play in overwhelming a rule of law society. This includes the formation of mass line movements and counter-state activities that utilize narratives at the cultural level, with the objective of powering down into the political space, where fidelity to the narrative will result in non-enforcement of law that, over time, will become institutionalized.

It is through the process of imposing narratives that the opposition first becomes influenced and then controlled; becoming a controlled opposition. Abuse of language leads to an abuse of power. Political warfare strategies are intensely dialectical, seeking the isolation of American values that are then negated through a relentless process of dialectical negation—Aufheben der Kultur.

Above is a paragraph from Stephen Coughlin’s document, The Left’s Strategies and Tactics. It is a document I post at link to at every chance.

Reading near the end, this paragraph caught my attention as something that needs to go up right away, as it explains so many accelerating events we see around us now daily. The ANTIFA Storm Troops battling old ladies in walkers trying to go and see Maxime Bernier speak in Hamilton for example.

This may be the woman who was mobbed by ANTIFA thugs of the elderly in Hamilton this weekend

Monday morning side event at the OSCE in Warsaw. Criminalize Islamophobia, but don’t define it

We posted a video of Stephen Coughlin the other day here at Vlad, doing an intervention at the OSCE event in Warsaw last weekend, where he referred to another event which took place on Monday morning at a side event.

The clip of Maj. Coughlin at the OSCE putting on record the danger of the demand to criminalize “Islamophobia” without even defining it is here again for those that missed it:

And here as well:

Below, the event to which Maj. Coughlin was referring:

Stephen Coughlin points out the growing totalitarianism at the OSCE

There is a great deal going on this week already that requires editing and attention. So while there may be fewer posts, they are quite labour intensive.

Here is a spoiler for one which I feel is very very important. The clip below by Stephen Coughlin, is from today’s intervention at the OSCE meeting in Warsaw, the group that seeks to write policy for European, and somehow also Canada and the US, governments which seem to become law or at least regulations. Most of these are anti-democratic and often downright core totalitarian.

I am looking for video of the events Stephen refers to in this video and if and when I find it, a new post will be made available with this clip, the one from last night he refers to, and more explanation about this whole thing. But even as a stand-alone, Stephen’s presentation today is of a high degree of clarity and obvious importance.

Multiple watchings are recommended.

Here is a link to Gates of Vienna which details the events Stephen describes in this video. I hope to have footage of the actual event in a few days.

For a lot of important news, please remember to check the comments under the Reader’s links post. The headlines are there. Post today are likely based on the OSCE event and other interviews and specific items not found elsewhere as of yet. Normal posting of news should resume later in the week.
