France. A short video. When you see media talking about these riots as due to cuts in education, think of it as Covid coming from a Wuhan wet-market after a bat had sex with a Pangolin
Islam seeks to erase the pre-Islamic past—its art, monuments, history, culture, and competing beliefs—and the West, once driven to preserve knowledge, create beauty, explore new frontiers, and defend individual freedom, now risks surrendering its own civilization by refusing to confront and resist that destruction.
Here are a few videos, each of which reflects in a deep way the fundamentals of the cultures spawned by Islam Vs. those that descended from the origins of Western Civilization. And more importantly the system of thought that supplies the power behind each way of existing. What we call, Civilization, that amalgam of Jewish legal tradition, Christian ethics, Greek systems of philosophy and determining truth, and Roman political systems, all of which together form our values, esteem of life, art, aesthetics, the mastery of skills, of accumulating and sharing knowledge for the future and the greater achievement of mankind. To achieve the impossible through great personal effort, even when that effort is of questionable value or inspiration, or even with no consideration of personal gain.
The commissioner of the work of art inn the video below was an alchemist. But clearly was not of the kind of alchemist who was examining paths of destruction of humanity to scrape out its fleck of gold, but rather a proto-scientist who cherished the natural world and wished to be able to recreate it in order to understand it. One can look at that work of art and see its connection to the moon landings of the 1960s. We did it because “it was hard”. because it was a challenge and because our scientific and Western minds demanded that we breach new frontiers in pursuit of knowledge for a better and more beautiful and wondrous world along with better conditions for Humanity.
