Website for what might be the Via Rail terror suspect mysteriously vanishes

Posted on by

Just as I was making the post right below, the website for Biosensor BioMEMS Bionanotechnology Lab vanished off the net. No trace. Well almost no trace, thanks to some good friends with more patience than I have for things like Google Cache we managed to resurrect the pages from this organization for you here.

I am not saying this is the guy who was arrested, just that he has the same name and the website hosting his image mysteriously vanished shortly after the RCMP press conference.

We think one of the arrested Al Qaeda terrorists is the bearded guy on the right next to the professor.

UPDATE: I have received a formal request from someone associated with the lab to remove the photo I have here due to copyright reasons and because “the content of this blogpost is detrimental to both the university INRS and the lab team presented.”

So I am replacing it with a screen grab from the actual website of this bio-research lab, which is public domain, and contains the same picture.

By the way, the last fellow on the right of the front row has a name strikingly similar to one of the two Al-Qaeda suspects arrested today in Toronto. Not saying its the same guy or anything. I wonder what kind of research this team does. How it might be used in the future.

By the way, just as I posted this article, the entire website for this biology and nanotech lab was removed.

So I guess that means we have our guy. I would call that a confirmation.

The site used to be here:

‘Major terrorist’ plot broken up by Canadian and U.S. authorities

FOX:

Canadian authorities have broken up what is being described as a “major terrorist attack” that may have included targets there and in New York, Fox News has confirmed.

Arrests could be announced as early as Monday afternoon, and sources said charging documents could be filed in federal court in New York. The plot is unrelated to the Boston Marathon attack, sources said. An official says there is no current credible threat to New York City.

Earlier, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation said Canadian police and intelligence agencies were to announce multiple arrests after an operation to thwart the attack. The operation was coordinated with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI, CBC said. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said in a statement the investigation was coordinated by a multi-agency team comprised of the RCMP, Canadian Security Intelligence Services, the Canada Border Service Agency and other law enforcement and national security partners in Montreal and Toronto, Canada’s two largest cities.

Caught just in time: ‘Bombers were about to plant MORE devices but plot was spoiled by release of CCTV photos’

Daily Mail:

  • The Boston bombers were reportedly planning more attacks across the city
  • However, the released of the photographs of the suspects ‘forced them out of their hideout’
  • Footage released on Saturday shows Dzhokhar Tsranaev laying flat under a tarp in a boat. Police used a robot to pull the tarp off the boat
  • Police tracked him with thermal imaging cameras and engaged him in a furious exchange of gun-fire that began shortly after 7pm
  • Stand-off continued until 8:45pm when Tsarnaev surrendered
  • Dzhokhar has been hospitalized at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is ‘intubated and sedated’ and cannot yet speak
  • Tamerlan Tsarnaev had injuries from head to toe and all limbs intact when he arrived at the hospital. He died early on Friday

The Boston bombers were planning more attacks across the city and were already building the bombs to do this says the city’s police commissioner Ed Davis.

Davis says it’s his belief that 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan ‘were going to attack other individuals’ — and Davis says that’s based on the evidence at the scene and the cache of weapons the brothers had at their disposal.

However, Davis claims releasing photos of the two Boston Marathon bombing suspects ‘forced them out of their hideout’ and spurred them into Thursday and Friday’s deadly night time car chaos and gun battle with law enforcement.

‘It forced them out of their hideout and they decided to commit further violent acts. But it’s my belief that they were already manufacturing explosive devices. Further violent acts were inevitable,’ Davis told The Boston Globe.

The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.

Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.

More than 1,000 FBI operatives were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.

A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.

TORONTO (AP) — An aunt of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects said Friday the older brother recently became a devout Muslim who prayed five times a day, and she doesn’t believe the brothers could have been involved in Monday’s attack.

Everyone really should download this whole webpage before it vanishes. Of course CAIR and Obama spin control will find some other way to chelate this information but for the moment we can at least try and save it.

Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev posted links to Islamic websites and others calling for Chechen independence on what appears to be his page on a Russian language social networking site.

Abusive comments in Russian and English were flooding onto Tsarnaev’s page on VK, a Russian-language social media site, on Friday after he was identified as a suspect in the bombing of the Boston marathon.

The deceased suspect in the bombing of the Boston marathon, which killed three and injured more than 170, appears to have posted a video to his YouTube playlist extolling an extremist religious prophecy associated with Al Qaeda.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the 26 year-old brother of the second Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, seems to have had a YouTube page where he posted religious videos, including a video of Feiz Mohammad, a fundamentalist Australian Muslim preacher who rails against the evils of Harry Potter.
