Iran: Some possibilities for the near future.

According to today’s Stratfor report, Iranian oil is being stockpiled in large amounts in tankers here and there in and around Iran. The claim from Tehran is that its an attempt to drive prices up and basically cause discomfort to the west. None of the numbers add up for this claim however and a more likely reason is because like Venezuela, the quality of the crude from these sites simply isn’t good enough to get a high dollar value.

Iran, Nuclear Weapons and why it might be a good idea to worry

Some time ago, perhaps a year or more now, a friend of mine managed to convert a video tape another friend of mine made from TV of a documentary about one A. Q. Khan, a Pakistani nuclear technician who was far too interested in how weapons where made for a man with his particular job in Holland.
His actions and the inaction of the CIA created the worlds first nuclear wal-mart. At last technology has conspired in a way for me to get this too you here on my own venue. It was originally aired on and made by BBC and the Canadian version, The CBC broadcast it where it was videotaped and now posted here…

Movies and Resources

For those of us who have seen Fitna, there are likely to be three basic reactions. 1. Horror. People who had no idea what Islam is about will be shocked and horrified either of the truths that Fitna reveals, or horrified that someone would dare say these things of ‘The Religion of peace’. (If Islam is the religion of peace, whats Tibetan Buddhism I wonder?)

Celebrating the slaughter of children

I think this video shows more about the difference in values between Islam and in particular in Gaza and the West Bank and, well frankly, anyone else in the world. These people are celebrating en mas the surprise slaughter of religious school children in Israel. Stopping cars at traffic lights and offering sweets through the window. Jubilation in the streets. Not for a great military victory, but for a man with a rifle killing as many school children as he could before he was shot by an armed bystander.

It doesn’t matter what side your on for this to be meaningful. Maybe you hate Israel. Maybe you think the Palestinians got a raw deal. (They did actually but not from the Israeli’s FYI) but a culture that shows jubilation, raw unmitigated joy and celebration at the slaughter of children is at its core wrong. There was no such joy at the shooting of the Nazi youth at the end of the second world war when those same children where actually shooting at our soldiers defending the 1 block of rubble that was all that was left of Berlin at the time. We mourned a culture that would sacrifice its children in such a meaningless fashion.

Maybe the double standard makes sense after all

deathiscomingb6e6efzo3.jpg
Maybe I get it now. I think I understand at last. There is a reason that the UN and the world howls with outrage when Israel defends itself against random attacks against its civilians by attacking the people who actually did it while the world seems to cheer on the Muslim attackers. I mean we all know most of the usual reasons. The UN has been badly corrupted by Islamics both in terms of oil money and influence and in terms of raw number of votes in the UN and so on but what about the average guy?
