Regulars of this site may recognize the concepts in this video and the companion RAIR article as being the message of Maj, (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin for many years now. Even so, it is amazing to see this understanding coming from someone as deep in the military establishment as this Maj. General in the Dutch army.

    When fact is ruthlessly obliterated with narrative – BAMN – brainwashing intensifies and spreads. Opponents who participate in such “dialogues”, no matter how sincere, serve as nothing but controlled opposition.

    Free speech is an essential bulwark of a free society: necessary but sometimes insufficient. Somewhere along the line it can become a weapon: good guys don’t realize they’re actually collaborating with the enemy.

    It isn’t easy to discern the point at which the line has been crossed, when it’s time to stop playing and STFU. – At that point self-defense strategy must change.
    – THAT requires significantly more courage than facing the hecklers’ veto.

Honestly, I do not think there’s a person alive capable of absorbing all the information we’re being bombed with or capable from separating truth based on hard provable fact from the hate in all its forms. Then add the never-ending obfuscations, which also no human could possibly figure out. Conclusion pick the preferred poison, and sleep with your eyes open.
