  1. This summer is going to set the tone for the next decade, it will take that long for the various sides to sort themselves out and for the initial fighting to reach a point where just about everyone is ready to take a short break to catch their breaths and rearm.

  2. She will achieve the complete destruction of Europe. Thanks for the election system. Perfect.

    • Germans will be Gypsies in their own land thanks to treasonous c&^ts like Merkel.

  3. A week or so ago over at GOV the Baron penned an essay on what the “core problem” is in the West today. He concluded that it isn’t Islam and it isn’t the politicians but rather the core problem rests with the electorate.
He used the recent election in the Netherlands as a prime example.
If Ms. Merkel is elected to a 4th term, which seems very likely, that will be a further example of the core problem. How any German who isn’t directly receiving a benefit from her governance would vote for this woman is beyond me.

“We will achieve what we want without an upper limit.”

It begs the question, what is it you want and have you told the German people what that is? Because I sure haven’t stumbled onto anything positive about your policy.

    • Would it not be more accurate to say “The problem is the electorate infected by postmodernism?”

    • re. why anyone would vote for her:

There is a reason for that, which is that the other option seems even worse.

Her only serious contestor is a Social Democrat (SPD), Martin Schulz, a former EU official.

      What about the AfD though?
The problem is that the other parties will form coalitions against, not with, them, to keep them out.
Therefore, unfortunately, no matter how strong they will come out of the election, they will only be opposition. Unless they either make 51%, or find a coalition partner. Both seems impossible at this point in time, sadly.

      Now to Martin Schulz:
The SPD have already announced that they will form a coalition with Die Linke (The Left) and Die Grünen (The Greens). This would mean an extreme swing to the left that will make even the German policies of the last years suddenly look conservative in comparison.
Die Linke are Marxists, Die Grünen are multi culturalists and antideutsch (advocating cultural and ethnic extinction of the Germans). The SPD have Islamic Trojan Horses in leading positions, and one of Schulz’ main messages is income “redistribution”.

The thought of a 4 year rule of such a Trias under Schulz is so dreadful to many Germans, that they will vote Merkel just so that this red trias won’t happen. It is a bit like having the choice between having an amputation with or without surgery.

You could of course say, don’t let second thoughts dictate your vote. Vote according to your principles.
Which is what a lot of people will do, too. But it might enable that red-green trias.

  4. This is the best of all possible outcomes. Merkel has tied the hangman’s knot, now let her stick her head in the noose. There must be an undeniable trail of breadcrumbs that lead back to this one traitor so that there’s no mistake about who to blame in the future.

Merkel must go to the wall for this treason.

  5. I’ve seen that woman being called “Erich Honnecker’s revenge” , strangely enough….
