Pim – You are an extremely inferior human being

Here is a historic TV debate between the murdered Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, and a socialist member of the Dutch government who chose to demonize and insult his opponent in debate rather than examine his ideas. I strongly recommend the following document, a speech that was read at Pim’s memorial service sometime after he was shot by a leftist sympathetic to Islam.

  1. This politicians manages to commit the offences that he at the same time accuses Pim of, and he manages to get away with it.

The political elite know that what killed Pim was their tactics of demonizing him and the critics of their islamization policies.

One can speculate why they decided to use such methods. On possibility is that it is part of a strategy of divide and conquer. To devide the opposition to the policies that result in islamization.

The social democrat political elite knows – from their experience with political organizing of different immigrant groups, from gallup polls and from other statistics – that over 8 out of 10 muslims vote for some of other of the socialist parties – that is, the the power basis of the social democrats.

The tension they create by demonizing the most vocal opponents of the policies that result in islamization, they achieve two things.

One thing they achieve is to divide the opposition against the islamization. Another thing is that because of the baseness of their eristics, public debate about the issue is renderes quite impossible.

The other achievement by demonization is the conjuring up of an image of “the enemy” that they can use to mobilize their new voters. Look they are your enemies, they hate you, they are racists. Vote for us, we will protect you against them. We are your friends.

I don’t think there’s any reason to believe that the political elite regrets any of the bad consequence of the tactics, not even what happened to Pim. Because what we se, is that they have not changed. The socialist political elite haven’t given up on any of their tactics or rhetorics against the opposition of their islamizing policies.
