President Nicolas Sarkozy said French intelligence agencies are certain that Iran is hiding a nuclear weapons program, Ynet News reported Sept. 16. Sarkozy stated that Iran cannot be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons because it is a threat to Israel. The French leader added that he will not shake the hand of someone who wants to wipe Israel off the map.
