The Muslim Association of Hamilton received $26,508.00 in 2010 under the federal government’s “Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Pilot (SIP) Program.”
The SIP Program’s purpose is to “Improve and enhance the safety of Canadian communities at risk of hate-motivated crime through the enhancement of their security infrastructure.”
The Muslim Association of Hamilton’s web site is very reticent about it’s organizational structure and members, one name rang out however; Yasser Haddara who gave the welcome address at a MAH open house this year. Yasser Haddara is a board member of the Muslim Association of Canada – the only Muslim organization in Canada to openly claim allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood.
