CBC NEWS… At least 24 people are dead after Islamist insurgents battled government forces and African Union peacekeepers in Mogadishu Friday.
The bloodshed comes a day after fighting killed at least 40 people in central Somalia as both sides tried to gain control of strategic towns.
Rebels launched a pre-dawn attack Friday on an African Union base, sparking the firefight. Residents hid in their homes as mortars slammed into the city.
Government troops and African Union peacekeepers control only a few blocks of Mogadishu, but that includes key government buildings as well as the port and airport. The insurgents control the most of rest of Somalia.
The country has been thrown into anarchy since warlords overthrew dictator Mohamed Siad Barre in 1991, then turned on each other. President Sheik Sharif Ahmed, elected in January, has been unable to unite the country’s feuding factions.
The al-Shabab insurgent group operates openly in the capital, seeking to overthrow the government and impose a strict form of Islam in Somalia.
Somalia… A paradise-on-earth open sewer by mahoundian standards, whose sole good deed from a truly Western perspective was to give us Ayaan Hirsi Ali; from a mahoundian point of view, that’s the only thing that will forever keep it from being considered 100% perfect by allah (fairy-tale mahound’s imaginary alter-ego.)
What’s going on there is violence only in the eyes of the MC PC Western MSM. By mahoundian standards, this sort of inter-clan, interl-tribal and sectarian clashes is just a display of the wonders of a land where allah’s blessings abound. It’s just too bad that this is still accepted by Western governments as a true reason for Somalis to enter the West as bogus asylum-seekers. Since, once within our borders, they always try their best to recreate what they’ve left behind in their paradise, this only means they’ve never had a freaking thing to run away from in the first place; therefore, their refugee applications should be rejected without even being looked at first.
So long as they keep their shit in their open sewer and aren’t brought into the West by the Titanic-load by our dhimmi political elites working for the UN, let them serve allah as allah is served best in their native province of mahoundistan.
