UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – North Korea is pressing on with its nuclear weapons program and several countries believe it has “probably developed miniaturized nuclear devices to fit into the warheads of its ballistic missiles,” according to a confidential U.N. report.

The report by an independent panel of experts monitoring U.N. sanctions said the countries, which it did not identify, believed North Korea’s past six nuclear tests had likely helped it develop miniaturized nuclear devices. Pyongyang has not conducted a nuclear test since September 2017.

5. Minneapolis, plagued by violent crime, wants victims to cooperate with criminals, surrender property

As violent crime surges in Minneapolis, the city is now telling residents they are essentially on their own.

The Minneapolis City Government has circulated a letter informing residents what to do if they are targeted by carjackers or robbers. The letter, addressed to residents living in the city’s 3rd precinct, was written July 28.

“Robberies and Carjacking’s have increased in our precinct. Cell phones, purses, and vehicles are being targeted. Some victims have been maced, dragged, assaulted, and threatened with a gun,” the letter states.

“100 Robberies and 20 Carjackings have been reported to the 3rd Precinct Police in July alone,” the letter adds.

However, instead of committing to increase police activity in areas plagued by violent crime, the letter goes on to suggest that residents protect themselves — and if they are targeted by violent criminals, to surrender their property.

Under a section titled, “Robbery Prevention Tips,” the letter tells residents, “Be prepared to give up your cell phone and purse/wallet.”

Meet our demands for racial reparations, they warn, or we’ll tarnish you with bad (false) online reviews.

As WDRB reports, “Protesters blocked off East Market Street to hold a block party Friday. Before the Louisville Metro Police Department arrested dozens of people, the protesters delivered lists of nine demands to each business.”

“The demands came with a deadline of Aug. 17, or else protesters would respond by launching negative reviews and social media posts about the businesses,” the site also informs.

In fact people in the US have a wide variety of rights to their own bodies and risk assessments. So the prohibition against HCQ is especially sinister. “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.

The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

As I walked around the sun-dappled streets of Amsterdam, something felt strange in this world swept by fear and pandemic. There was laughter coming from barges sliding along the famous canals, clusters of cyclists clogged the streets, shoppers dipped into chic boutiques, the barber shops seemed busy and cafes served couples chatting over coffee. […]

The nation’s top scientists, having examined key data and research, have declared there is no firm evidence to back the use of face coverings. Indeed, they argue that wearing the wretched things may actually hamper the fight against disease.

‘Face masks in public places are not necessary, based on all the current evidence,’ said Coen Berends, spokesman for the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment. ‘There is no benefit and there may even be negative impact.’

This is a bold but highly controversial stance – especially as fears grow of a second wave sweeping through Europe. Last week, Downing Street joined the global stampede to enforce face masks in public spaces such as shops, supermarkets and stations, following Scotland, Spain and France, along with Holland’s neighbouring nations of Belgium and Germany.

10. Oakland protesters set fire to courthouse, smash windows

OAKLAND, Calif. – A protest in Oakland, California, in support of racial justice and police reform turned violent when a small group of demonstrators wearing helmets and goggles and carrying large signs that doubled as shields set fire to a courthouse, vandalized a police station and shot fireworks at officers, authorities said.

About 700 demonstrators participated in what started as a peaceful march Saturday night but then some broke from the larger group and smashed windows, spray-painted graffiti and pointed lasers at officers, said Officer Johnna Watson, an Oakland Police Department spokesperson.

Several fires were set in the downtown area, including one at the Alameda County Superior Courthouse that was quickly contained. Demonstrators hurled rocks, ceramic paint-filled balls and frozen water bottles through windows at the courthouse, federal building and police building in a raucous night that was unlike peaceful marches that have taken place in the city in recent weeks, Watson said.

“This was different,” Watson said. “This group of protesters had specific intentions to participate in one way or another — whether that’s carrying backpacks in with clearly very heavy items, and the smaller group would actually be engaged in doing the damage — there is a nexus with all of the attendees.”

Police made several arrests but did not provide details. There were no immediate reports of injuries to protesters or officers or immediate cost estimates of the vandalism, Watson said.

11. Unvetted: Michelle Obama Hosted Former Terrorist Bill Ayers

When she was an associate dean at the University of Chicago, Michelle Obama organized a panel discussion featuring her husband, then a state senator, as well as Bill Ayers, the infamous former leader of the Weather Underground anti-American domestic terrorist group.

The detail was documented by this reporter in 2008 and may be among the material that becomes newly relevant amid speculation the former first lady could be picked as Joe Biden’s running mate.

Such a move could set off renewed scrutiny of Michelle Obama’s past radical associations.  Her husband’s past radical ties became hot button issues during the 2008 presidential election while Michelle’s similar connections remain largely unexplored.

One such association runs through Ayers, who maintained a longtime close relationship with Barack Obama until the politician publicly denounced Ayers when the problematic association became a theme during the 2008 race.

While Ayers’s ties to Obama fueled election fodder, the connections between his wife and the domestic terrorist have largely not been vetted.

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Egypt has sent nearly 150 soldiers to Syria to support the country’s military forces loyal to president Bashar al-Assad government, according Turkish media reports.

The report claims that the soldiers had been sent to the Aleppo countryside, Idlib area via the Hama Military Airport, Anadolu Agency said, citing reliable military sources.

It added that the troops were later deployed in the Khan al-Asal area in the western countryside of Aleppo and around the city of Saraqib in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Egyptian soldiers are said to have been deployed with light weapons on the front lines against the so-called moderate Syrian opposition factions.

Idlib is home to several anti-government militant outfits receiving Turkish support. Late last year, Syria launched an anti-terror operation against the foreign-sponsored militants after they failed to honor a de-escalation agreement between Ankara and Moscow.

(It is when Egypt sends real forces to Libya to oppose Turkish manifest destiny that things could get interesting.)

5. Seattle Moves to Abolish Entire Police Force

Well, it may be time to deploy the military to Seattle after all because what local lawmakers are doing is nothing short of allowing the city to be engulfed in violence and anarchy. (Suggest that this gym owner hires the same lawyer as did the HCQ doctor and the young man who CNN tried to destroy, named in the previous post. On the basis of ultra-vires actions alone he should be able to sue and win against the police and the political directors. Police should not be acting beyond the limits of the constitution they swore to uphold.)

Witness New Jersey, where police this week arrested the owners of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr for defying state orders to close the facility in response to COVID-19. The gym owners, Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti, had taken virus-spread precautions, including social distancing, closing workout stations, operating at 20% capacity, requiring face masks, increasing equipment sanitization, and taking temperatures. To no avail. Atilis Gym is just one of countless American small businesses trying to balance public health, government edicts, and profitability before being shut down by government edict.

Meanwhile, in major cities throughout the country, including New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, and Portland, Ore., violent protests continue to rage. In Portland this week, protesters breached a fence around a federal courthouse building housing U.S. agents.

6. Yale epidemiologist: Dr. Fauci running ‘misinformation campaign’ against hydroxychloroquine

Dr. Harvey Risch, a noted Yale epidemiologist,  has accused White House coronavirus task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci of waging a “misinformation campaign” against the drug hydroxychloroquine, claiming the medication has shown consistently encouraging results in treating COVID-19 when used properly.

Hydroxychloroquine has been at the center of a protracted political debate since March, when President Trump cited the drug as a promising possible treatment for the novel coronavirus. HCQ has long been used by doctors to treat malaria along with other syndromes such as arthritis and lupus. The World Health Organization lists it as an essential medicine, while nearly five million Americans hold prescriptions for it.

Since Trump’s speculative endorsement of the drug, media outlets and medical officials have for several months aggressively promoted various medical trials that have determined the drug has no effectiveness in fighting COVID-19; many commentators have also insisted, in spite of the drug’s decades-long safe track record, that it is too dangerous to be used to cure the disease.

Among the drug’s critics has been Fauci. In March, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infection Diseases dismissed claims of HCQ’s effectiveness as “anecdotal” and has periodically voiced that skepticism over the course of the pandemic.

On Tuesday during an interview on “Good Morning America,” Fauci further downplayed the drug’s purported benefit, claiming that “the overwhelming prevailing clinical trials that have looked at the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine have indicated that it is not effective in [treating] coronavirus disease.”

7. This is a brilliant example of several evil things at once. Alinsky rule 4 is one of them. The idea that the left holds the establishment (at that time) up to its own standards to a degree it cannot comply. But more interestingly its an example of selectively enforced contextual relevance. In other words, if this exact action was done at a mosque it would mean years in jail. All somehow because Muslims can’t eat pork. But in reality because it’s an act of defiance against the Islamic attempt at a prohibition on pork and pigs in general even in our culture. So context matters in this case. But should a CBC dedicated warrior of the left, like Wendy Messely use one of the key words that White people are not allowed to say, notably the word that starts with a letter right in the middle of K and Q, she was cancelled overnight. Although I suspect in retrospect it was tokenism as she was a leftist SJW, so probably not docked pay and is probably back with CBC, although we don’t know, we haven’t kept up on the list of lefty Canadians cancelled by the new anti-state of Marxism.

Thank you M., Wrath of Khan, Pim Purnell, JSample, EB., PC., Chris Jones, Johnny U., Richard, and all who are paying attention. Even to controlled opposition. Because at this point any opposition is at least opposition.

More than 100 law enforcement agencies have reportedly pulled out of security agreements to send personnel to help with security at the Democratic National Convention next month in part because they are concerned about recent efforts to limit law enforcement’s use of tear gas and pepper spray in responding to violent riots.

Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales was ordered last month to change the department’s policies to ban the use of tear gas and pepper spray.

“Since the Milwaukee order was issued, more than 100 law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin and across the country decided against coming to Milwaukee, Morales told WTMJ-TV on Tuesday,” The Associated Press reported. “They were concerned with directives placed on the police department, including not allowing tear gas or pepper spray, he said.”

In Wisconsin, Franklin Police Chief Rick Oliva said, “It is apparent there is a lack of commitment to provide the Milwaukee Police Department with the resources it needs to ensure the safety of peaceful protesters, attendees, citizens and police personnel. Odd Ngo Tweet

UBC sued for cancelling Andy Ngo: Links 1, July 29, 2020

1. It turns out if protestors attack a Democrat, they will get caught and arrested.

Two women accused of assaulting a Wisconsin state senator as he took photos of a crowd that toppled two statues during a protest last month have been arrested, police said.

State Sen. Tim Carpenter, a Democrat from Milwaukee, was attacked in Madison on June 24 as he pointed his phone at a group of protesters who tore down two statues on Capitol grounds. He was repeatedly punched and kicked in the head and later required surgery for his wounds, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

“I don’t know what happened … all I did was stop and take a picture … and the next thing I’m getting five, six punches, getting kicked in the head,” Carpenter told the newspaper last month.

Two people within the “angry mob” that allegedly attacked Carpenter, identified by police as Samantha Hamer, 26, and Kerida O’Reilly, 33, both of Madison, surrendered to cops Monday. Both are now facing charges of substantial battery as a party to a crime and robbery with use of force as a party to a crime, police said Monday. […]

A nearby reporter told police roughly 10 people proceeded to kick and punch Carpenter as he “tried to explain” that he was an ally to the demonstrators, police said.

The assault took place just after a Molotov cocktail was tossed into a government office in Madison, where protesters also tore down two statues, including one of Col. Hans Christian Heg, an abolitionist who died while fighting for the Union in the Civil War.

(The statue they tore down was of an abolitionist, showing once again this is about Winston Smithism, not about historical treatment of Africans)

2. UBC sued for violating free speech, cancelling Andy Ngo speaking event

(Hark! Could this be good news?)

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) is suing the University of British Columbia for its cancellation of a speaking engagement by TPM editor-at-large Andy Ngo. A Petition for Judicial Review was filed Monday morning.

The event entitled “Understanding Antifa Violence” was organized by the Free Speech Club and was supposed to take place in January of 2020. The JCCF issued a press release that read:

“The Free Speech Club confirmed the Andy Ngo event booking with UBC, signed the contract and paid the required booking deposit. However, in December 2019, the UBC suddenly pulled the plug on the event without notice.”

JCCF lawyer Marty Moore said, “UBC cancelled the Ngo event in an arbitrary and secretive fashion, in violation of  its own commitments to respect ‘the right to freedom of expression’ and to uphold students’ and visitors’ right to ‘engage in full and unrestricted consideration of any opinion.’ It is unreasonable and unconscionable for a public institution to cancel an event on the basis that the speaker has been a victim of violence.”

5. Chicago Tribune: What happened to an America where you could freely speak your mind?

The angry left-handed broom of America’s cultural revolution uses fear to sweep through our civic, corporate and personal life.

It brings with it attempted intimidation, shame and the usual demands for ceremonies of public groveling.

It is happening in newsrooms in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles. And now it’s coming for me, in an attempt to shame me into silence.

Here’s what happened:

Last week, with violence spiking around the country, I wrote a column on the growing sense of lawlessness in America’s urban areas.

In response, the Tribune newspaper union, the Chicago Tribune Guild, which I have repeatedly and politely declined to join, wrote an open letter to management defaming me, by falsely accusing me of religious bigotry and fomenting conspiracy theories.

Newspaper management has decided not to engage publicly with the union. So I will.

For right now, let’s deal with facts. My July 22 column was titled “Something grows in the big cities run by Democrats: An overwhelming sense of lawlessness.”

It explored the connections between soft-on-crime prosecutors and increases in violence along with the political donations of left-wing billionaire George Soros, who in several states has funded liberal candidates for prosecutor, including Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.

6. Canadian politics is at least as corrupt and dishonest as US at this point

7. Ontario teen worked with attack planner in Syria to plot bombings for ISIS

A teenager admitted in Ontario court on Tuesday he had pledged allegiance to the so-called Islamic State and worked with an attack planner based in Syria to plot bombings.

From his home in Kingston, the Syrian-Canadian youth collaborated through social media with a figure known as “Abu Umar Ibrahim,” who encouraged him and guided his bomb-making.

Nightclubs, churches and sporting venues were discussed as possible targets. While he was preoccupied with bombs, police also found materials referring to poisons, vehicular attacks and burning people inside their homes.

“All those ways are good to kill Christians,” according to an audio file uncovered by police.

The youth, who was 16 at the time and cannot be named because he is a minor, pleaded guilty to four terrorism offences and breaching his release conditions by removing his ankle monitor.

(Pretty sure the magnitude and nature of his crimes would let him be tried as an adult. Lots and lots of 16 year olds are for far less serious offences. Or are they trying to avoid another 10M$ payout?)

10. It seems that many in Quebec are aware that those who call themselves “Journalists” are in fact not there to report on events or even to give both sides of the story so much as reenforce a narrative that always leans left.

(I have witnessed on multiple occasions, protests by hard working Canadians who were demonstrating against harsh laws that limit all our most fundamental freedoms like Freedom of Speech. Well trained CBC ‘reporters’ would show up and ask questions so that after an edit, all those people would look like angry white males defending racist points of view, or just kooks. I watched the interviews live right on the hill. The reporter never asked why the person was there, what their particular issue was or anything a journalist should do. Just asked questions that put the inexperienced, non-media-savvy Canadians in a position where they had to stammeringly try and prove they weren’t ‘racist’. More recently, CBC crews have little to no identifying marks on them outside a little sticker on the camera which they point at if you ask them. At Quebec anti-mandatory mask demos, the reportage we have posted at this site show more than a little bias against the protestors. So it’s no surprise they are being treated with contempt. They worked very hard to earn it.)

Thank you M., Tania Groth, Johnny U., PC., Sassy, Richard, Wrath of Khan, Chris Jones, Rich, George Igler, Xanthippa, and many more.

We cannot preserve or more accurately, recover our freedoms and culture if we don’t fight back. This is no longer a passive struggle as the anti-state includes the media and many components of government. Merit is cancelled in more and more aspects of life with race being the prime factor under the cynical disguise of ‘anti-racism’.  The increments by which Greek thought is being cancelled are coming faster and more obvious with less Frankfurt School paving over to cover it. This means its now easier to alert people formerly resistant to the fact on the ground than it was. We must take advantage of that on the information battlespace.

1. Andy Ngo on Portland. Insurgents found to have fully loaded magazines. Makes one suspect that they are trying to provoke an armed response from Federal officers to get public support for a major assault on this courthouse using conventional weapons.

Even the AP had to admit it.

2. The media and an inexpensive medication that holds promise for Covid 19

3. Fascinating look at Marxist moral inversion when it comes to crime in Sweden.

4. CBC Narrative piece which in true Winston Smith fashion, pushes today’s party truths without ever mentioning yesterday’s party truths. ‘we have always worn masks. We never said don’t wear a mask. Trust the party. Vaccines and masks are the answer. Any opposition is dangerous misinformation.’ No mention of the value of freedom whatsoever no matter what the mask or vaccine truths are. If my body my choice means you can kill your pre-born baby right up to delivery date even though you could have prevented that occurrence several ways, then it should certainly apply to vaccines.

BREAKING NEWS: Twitter stops Donald Trump Jr. from tweeting after he promoted doctor’s claim hydroxychloroquine ‘cures’ COVID and called it ‘must-watch’ – on eve of big tech bosses being quizzed by Congress

Twitter has banned Donald Trump Jr. from posting any tweets, claiming he shared ‘potentially harmful information’ after posting a link Monday evening to a viral video of a doctor claiming hydroxychloroquine is a ‘cure’ for coronavirus.

‘We’ve temporarily limited some of your account features,’ the Twitter notice to the president’s eldest son reads, adding it will be in effect for 12 hours.

‘We have determined that this account violated the Twitter Rules. Specifically, for: 1. Violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19,’ it continued.

Andrew Surabian, a spokesman to Don Jr., posted an image of the notice to Twitter Tuesday morning, lamenting: ‘Big Tech is the biggest threat to free expression in America today & they’re continuing to engage in open election interference – full stop.’

The ban comes as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google’s parent company Alphabet, prepare to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

The hearing will focus on big tech companies and potential antitrust law violations in the industry.

(Potentially harmful information”. That is Newspeak of course for anything we don’t like. Islamic preachers demanding Jews and homosexuals and Christians be humiliated and or killed, that’s ok as long as it isn’t translated into English and trotted out in front of an audience that understands the double standards of the platform. Then that instance in banned)

Mostly HCQ backlash from front line workers: Links 1, July 27, 2020

1. More and more killings thanks to the insurgents who are trying to overthrow the entire system of laws and social interaction in the West. Particularly in the US. Their partners, religious muslims are taking the lead in the UK and elsewhere, but in the US its clearly the communists.

2. Judge denies Oregon’s request to stop arrests by federal agents in Portland

(Good to know some judges still care about law and things like that)

A federal judge on Friday denied an order sought by Oregon’s attorney general to prohibit federal agents from making arrests during the ongoing protests in Portland amid a battle between progressive local leaders and the Trump administration over the presence of federal forces.

U.S. District Court Judge Michael Mosman said the state lacked standing to sue on behalf of protesters.

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum sued the Trump administration last week, alleging federal agents have arrested protesters without probable cause and used excessive force. Authorities deny the accusations.

The lawsuit sought a restraining order to stop federal authorities from unlawfully detaining protesters. Agents have arrested 18 people in Portland this week, the Justice Departmentsaid Friday. They face a slew of charges, including assaulting federal officers, arson, looting and damaging federal property.

The agents have been “subjected to nightly threats and assaults from demonstrators while performing their duties,” said U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams.

2. DANGER! World wide spike of cases!

And we know for a fact we can trust all deaths attributed to Covid, and all positive tests, even of people who didn’t actually get tested as true.

(Notice how they don’t define cases, and all the horror is predicted, not actually happening. Hospitals COULD ,in the future, etc. etc. Its Global Warming all over again.)

3. Real Marxism! Its never been tried! Right?

4. There is movement on the FISA Fiasco. The Tweet below has info, but an interview with Brad Johnson done yesterday has dates for indictments. Stay tuned.

2. Sermon at first friday prayer at Hagia Sophia, very political and targets Ataturk

The khutbah (sermon) Ali Erba?, the head of Turkey’s Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), delivered at the first Friday prayers performed at Hagia Sophia on July 24 after the historical structure was turned into a mosque from a museum has stirred a fierce debate as critics claimed that the country’s top imam targeted Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the republic.

“Any property that is endowed is inviolable in our belief and burns whoever touches it; the charter of the endower is indispensable and whoever infringes upon it is cursed,” Erba? said in the sermon.

Politicians from the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) and ?Y? (Good) Party claimed that Erba?’s remarks were targeting Atatürk, some calling on him to resign.

A cabinet decree back in 1934, when Atatürk was still alive, had turned Hagia Sophia into a museum. On July 10, a Turkish court annulled this decree, paving the way for its use again as a mosque after an 86-year hiatus.

Erba? dismissed claims that he cursed Atatürk in the sermon.

2. Quebec City has massive protest against mandatory masks. Canadian media decimates the number of attendees as per normal for a communist propaganda organ like the CBC. In this case, its Montreal City News.

CTV posts an unflattering view of the protests here, and so far I cannot find a CBC report on the Quebec protests yesterday at all.

“Liberty! Liberty!”

6. Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro recovers from Covid, credits Hydroxychloroquine.

7. Police and communist insurgents face off in Portland. You can see the use of lasers, almost certainly by communists, as police don’t randomly fire lasers into the eyes of citizens.

Hydroxychloroquine and other communist fronts against freedom and Western individualism: Links 1, July 26, 2020

1. More doctors speak to the use of Hydroxychloroquine and the propaganda and political war against it.

(Watching this debate reminds me of some of the thinking of Dr, Thomas Szasz, who feels that the entire government permission for certain medications is infantilizing the population and people should be able to buy any medications they want and its up to them to determine its value and risks. If government is so worried about the risks to the public who use HCQ, then let them sign a waver so all responsibility is on them for taking it.)

Ahead of a march held by the all-black “Not F***ing Around Coalition” militia aka “NFAC” in Louisville, Kentucky Saturday afternoon, one member accidentally discharges his weapon, injuring three at the scene. See the march video itself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPM-K… Filmed by Ford Fischer

The march:

3. Fascinating to hear him describe burning federal and government buildings and hurling missiles and incendiary devices at authorities as “his rights”.

4. A pretty excellent example of Twitter values and standards

5. Apparently peaceful protestors need shields that protect from some ordnance

6. Orthodox Jewish man in NYC attacked for being an orthodox Jewish man in NYC.

(What!?! no army of well armed Jewish people demanding stuff? Oh right the Orthodox actually do face real racist hate crimes and are not communists. So no, they don’t do that)

7. If anyone is looking to buy a home in Seattle, wait a few weeks and you may get one very cheaply.
