1. Moroccan Warships Breached Ceuta Waters during Invasion, Sánchez Admits 74 Days On

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez acknowledged on Monday, 12 October, that Moroccan warships had repeatedly entered Spanish territorial waters during the mass invasion of Ceuta in late July, ending 74 days of government silence over a military confrontation that unfolded alongside one of Europe’s worst migration crises.

According to El País, at least one Moroccan frigate and several patrol vessels entered waters around Ceuta without authorization on 30–31 July, as more than 80,000 illegal migrants crossed from Morocco into the Spanish enclave. The incursions continued into early August, reportedly bringing Spanish and Moroccan military vessels close to collision before Madrid deployed frigates to deter further violations.

Despite the seriousness of the confrontation, Sánchez had kept the public uninformed for more than two months. Speaking to journalists during Spain’s National Day celebrations, he dismissed the incursions as isolated incidents between neighbouring countries, emphasizing cooperation with Rabat rather than explaining why Spanish sovereignty had been violated.

There is a lot about this event that doesn’t pass the smell test. Also the fact that dozens of identified Moroccan military personnel are embedded in the invasion forces, who actively monitored Spanish security response to the invasion.

2. In the UK you are not allowed to sing Church songs off of Church grounds. Really.

The obvious juxtaposition is you can do Islamic rituals anywhere you want in the UK including illegal ones like blocking streets or random ritual slaughtering of animals. The less obvious point is that Communism and Islam both vehemently hate Christianity. In the Soviet Union they used to have street plays mocking Christian beliefs and rituals. These were state sponsored. If memory serves, the opening scenes of the Book, The Master and Margarita is a discussion between artists, a writer and some other kind, about the ‘absurdity’ of Jesus and the Biblical history of him. This was the Soviet/Marxist position. Now, Western communists use Muslims as proxy soldiers against everything Western including Christianity and very often, even to the point of burning down Churches to the ground. That is to say in the very rare case where the media actually names the person caught for burning down a church, in the also rare case that they catch a person burning down a church.

3. I am having some difficulty finding out if this translation is accurate and I want to be sure before I state it is. Many of the comments under it confirm it but I need someone fluent in French to tell me exactly what is said here and then I’ll subtitle it myself. But for the sake of argument, let’s say it is…

As Stephen C often says, “We are in a state of political warfare. Political Warfare ALWAYS becomes kinetic.”

Grok explains Political Warfare thusly:

Political warfare is the employment of all means at a nation’s command, short of open (conventional) war, to achieve its national objectives.?
This is the classic formal definition, coined by U.S. diplomat George F. Kennan (then Director of the State Department’s Policy Planning Staff) in a 4 May 1948 memorandum titled “Organizing Political Warfare.” He described it as “the logical application of Clausewitz’s doctrine in time of peace.”?
Kennan’s Full Formulation
“In broadest definition, political warfare is the employment of all the means at a nation’s command, short of war, to achieve its national objectives. Such operations are both overt and covert. They range from such overt actions as political alliances, economic measures (as ERP [the Marshall Plan]), and ‘white’ propaganda to such covert operations as clandestine support of ‘friendly’ foreign elements, ‘black’ psychological warfare and even encouragement of underground resistance in hostile states.”?History.state
Key Characteristics
Scope: It integrates diplomatic/political, informational/propaganda, economic, intelligence, and limited military/paramilitary tools.
Overt and covert: Includes open actions (alliances, sanctions, public diplomacy) and secret ones (subversion, psychological operations, support to resistance or proxies).
Intent: To impose one’s will, weaken an adversary’s cohesion or decision-making, or protect national interests—without crossing into declared conventional war.
Context: It operates in the continuum between pure peacetime statecraft and open war (often called the “gray zone” or strategic competition today).?
Congress Modern Refinements
Contemporary analyses (e.g., RAND, Congressional Research Service) retain Kennan’s core while sharpening it for current conditions:
Intentional use of one or more instruments of national power (diplomatic/political, information/cyber, military/intelligence, economic) to affect the political composition or decision-making of another state or actor.
Often (but not always) unattributed or deniable.
Distinct from, but related to, irregular warfare (which is frequently the military contribution to broader political warfare) and hybrid or gray-zone competition.?Rand
In short, political warfare is organized, competitive statecraft short of conventional war—aimed at achieving strategic political objectives through a synchronized mix of influence, pressure, subversion, and non-kinetic means.
would well organized street protests claiming to be for a civic or rational purpose but obviously really a cover for more revolutionary reasons qualify?

Yes, it can qualify, depending on the source, direction, and strategic purpose.

Under the classic Kennan definition and its modern applications, political warfare includes the intentional use of political, informational, and subversive means—short of open war—to affect another state’s political composition, decision-making, or stability. Well-organized street protests that present a civic or rational face while serving more revolutionary or regime-change ends fit several of the activities Kennan explicitly listed:

Clandestine or semi-clandestine support of “friendly” foreign elements.
Psychological warfare / propaganda (including “white,” “gray,” or “black” variants).
Encouragement of resistance or underground activity in hostile states.
Efforts to weaken an opponent’s cohesion or will without conventional military force.
When it clearly qualifies
It meets the definition when the protests are:

Directed, funded, trained, or coordinated by a foreign state (or by a non-state actor operating as an instrument of a state’s strategy).
Part of a broader campaign that uses overt messaging (“democracy,” “anti-corruption,” “human rights”) while pursuing concealed strategic objectives (destabilization, regime change, weakening an adversary’s government).
Designed to create political pressure, fracture elite cohesion, or generate international legitimacy for more radical aims.
This is essentially the logic behind many historical and contemporary cases labeled as political warfare or gray-zone activity (support for opposition movements, color-revolution-style mobilizations, proxy political fronts, etc.). The public narrative can be civic or liberal while the operational intent is more revolutionary or hostile.

When it does not automatically qualify
Purely domestic, self-organized protests—even if radical or revolutionary in character—are ordinary political struggle, activism, or the early stages of insurgency. They become political warfare in the formal sense mainly when a foreign power (or a coordinated external network acting on behalf of strategic objectives) is employing them as an instrument of influence or subversion against the target state.

Bottom line
Organized street protests used as a cover for deeper revolutionary or adversarial purposes are a classic tool within political warfare when they are instrumentally directed or supported from outside to achieve national objectives short of war. The civic framing is often part of the method, not a disqualification.

In this case though, it is likely the French state, the EU and the UN funding and promoting and organizing these massive events. However this is not the point being made.

The point is, that assuming the translation is correct, this call to murder 10 French security staff may not have been obeyed in this instance, the likelihood of it being obeyed at some point in the near future, in this round of rioting and revolutionary protests or the next or the next, approaches 100%. And once that happens it becomes 1917.

4. In Toronto that line is being edged on. This scene is clearly edited for start and end but they do include the victim’s taunt. Still, the man who attacked him was behind him and sucker punched his victim. Something stinks about all this. Was he looking for someone to attack in order to scale up the violence? In other words is he some kind of op? None of these protests are grass roots and none of them are about what they say they are about. This is critical to any kind of understanding of events today. This is political warfare for greater political purposes. And the funding and organizing comes from elsewhere. These are active measures.

This is critical to understand. There is nothing organic about them and the proximity to the alleged cause is irrelevant. As an aside, I once met a girl who explained all about the “genocide in Gaza” to me, and while she lived in Canada, explained her Palestinian origins and that she knew, cause she had just come back from a visit to Gaza. Vacationing to the place where a genocide is taking place against your demographic tends to work against the case that it is taking place.

The event below has a bad smell. This looks like a planned escalation. Political warfare always becomes kinetic. The point de bascule appears to be near.

5. This is a Moroccan military operation, very likely supported by the UN and EU and current Spanish communist government.
