Every thing appeared so peaceful….before the drama
Dr. Fardeen A, (38, born Afghan) worked as a dentist in Hamburg-Bergedorf, patients valued his friendly manner, colleagues his competence. He regularly brings flowers to his wife Behnas (30).

She brings her daughter Zilin (4) to the kindergarten and son Ilias (6) to primary school in the morning. He plays with the little ones in the evening. Recently the father offered his loved ones a holiday in Dubai.
After this he seems strangly intraverted, but initially the idyllic family picture did not change.

Thursday evening, the children are put to bed. They would never wake up again.

At 6.50 the father dials emergency. “I have killed my children” he says. When police enter the children’s room, the little ones lay side by side. Under their heads: blood.

The father is arrested, later a warrant for murder is issued. A.’s speech is confused, he is sent for psychiatric examination. According to a spokes person for the police, the man suffers from a mental illness which excludes him from criminal liability.

The prosecution investigates if the motif for the killings was religious fanatism. The mother collapses, receives counselling, moves in with her mother.

On monday 23, the teacher has to explain to the first class, why Ilias is not there any longer.

  2. To Tamster, and others, from the UK and beyond, if you’d like to carry on a “civil” discussion and possibly learn from one another, without the obscenities. They are illogical and serve no useful purpose. If you can’t refrain from resorting to them, then don’t bother reading below.

    Yes, you can blame it on religion, on islam, because the koran mandates these “bad” things that many muslims do. I have read MANY MANY verses in the Koran that order the beheading, stoning, dismembering and crucifying of disbelievers or non-muslims, for no other reason than being of a different faith. These bad things are done in the name of islam.

    I won’t bother listing all these verses, as there are just TOO MANY. And besides, I’m sure you know most of them by heart.

    All these “bad” things are encouraged in religion, that is, in islam, in the koran itself. Muslims are killing christians (as well as muslims) and other non-muslims worldwide IN ACCORDANCE with the Koran, whose purpose is to establish a global islamic caliphate under sharia law. Again, I’m sure you and others are not only aware of this, but are pushing for this as well.

    If that’s the case, it’s ONLY BECAUSE muslims are killing muslims! Look at Egypt, Libya, Iraq, and especially Syria, with over 100,000 dead, because of MUSLIMS KILLING MUSLIMS, sunnis killing shiites killing sunnis. And if muslims are not muslim enough (like the Ahmadiyyas and the Alawites), they are killed by the more radical muslims.

    3..You will say that other religions have their “bad” verses too.

    BUT those religions have since reformed and no longer live by those verses. When Christians kill for no reason, it goes against their belief system, and is NOT accepted within the religion.

    Whereas in islam, when “radicals” kill infidels, it IS in ABSOLUTE ACCORDANCE with the koran. The killing is justified and encouraged in the koran, which is why, when infidels are slaughtered, we so often see many muslims cheer worldwide. This is due to THEIR hatred of non-muslims, which Mohammed encouraged RIGHT UP UNTIL HIS DYING MOMENT IN BED when he was cursing Jews and Christians:

    In the more reliable hadiths, according to Aisha in Sahih Bukhari (volume 2, book 23, hadith 472) – “allah cursed the Jews and the Christians…”.
    And in Sahih Muslim (book 4, hadith 1082) – “Let there be curse upon the Jews and the Christians…”

    Interesting to note that when Jesus died suffering up on a cross, he said “forgive them, they do not know what they do”, as opposed to cursing those who were of a different faith, as Mohammed did.

    4..Young muslims are taught RIGHT FROM THE START, in the school and in the mosque, to do the same, to hate non-muslims — who are described as having “diseased hearts” in the koran (5:52).

    Just look at how 100’s of 1000’s of muslim children are brainwashed to hate Jews in the Hamas summer camps in Gaza, where they are trained militarily to shoot weapons at a very young age. And Palestinian children’s TV teaches to hate and kill Jews. The anti-semitic “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” is a best-seller in Islamic countries, and makes a great TV show, especially during Ramadan when most muslims, including children, are home to listen to and be imbued with more hatred of Jews.

    Despite all this, Israel, islam’s enemy, is busy forging ahead with medical breakthroughs and high-tech miracles, developing life-saving treatments and drugs, so that hundreds of millions of people across the world, muslims included, can benefit from improved health and living standards in their own countries.

    5..Did you ever consider the possibility that if you were NOT taught this koranic hatred of non-muslims, that if this hatred were not so ingrained in memory and entrenched in thought, then perhaps you would be capable of feeling less hatred and more tolerance for the non-muslim? Perhaps even put your energies towards a more efficient and less violent use for the good of all of humanity?

    The koran also teaches, in so many chapters, that you cannot become friends with non-muslims or infidels.

    In 5:51 — “O you who believe! DO NOT TAKE THE JEWS and CHRISTIANS FOR FRIENDS; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

    Other chapters are 5:80, 3:28, 3:118; 9:23, and many many more. Muslims can only “act” like they are friends with infidels in the host country where infidels are the ones dominating, but the koran demands that muslims must feel hatred in their hearts towards non-muslims.

    In 60:1 — “O ye who believe! Choose not My enemy and your enemy for allies. Do you give them friendship when they disbelieve in that truth which has come unto you, driving out the messenger and you because you believe in Allah, your Lord? If you have come forth to strive in My way and seeking My good pleasure, (show them not friendship). Do you show friendship unto them in secret, when I am Best Aware of what you hide and what you proclaim? And whosoever doeth it among you, he verily hath strayed from the right way.”

    6..Even the VERY FIRST muslim prayer (in koran chapter 1) discourages any connection with those who are not muslim: “Guide us to the right path, the path of those to whom you have granted blessings, not the path of those who earned your anger (ie, Jews), nor of those who went astray (ie, Christians).”

    How much more INTOLERANT of others can one get?

    7..This intolerance does not come from nowhere. It comes primarily from the koranic teachings (and hadiths, and other islamic doctrines like The Reliance of the Traveller, or Umdat al-Saliq) which drive muslims to kill westerners in the street, in broad daylight – like Dutch film-director Theo Van Gogh in Amsterdam and off-duty British soldier Lee Rigby in London.

    Like the Boston bombings and all the other numerous lethal attacks. Or the attempted killings of journalist Lars Hedegaard in Copenhagen, artist Lars Vilks in Malmo and cartoonist Kurt Westergaard in Aarhus Denmark for no other reason than their respect of western values that include freedom of expression.

    And others who continue receiving endless death threats and are forced to live with 24/7 police protection, like Dutch politician Geert Wilders. Or those who end up changing their identity and location, like American writer Molly Norris from Seattle for innocently trying to bring religions together. Or British historian Tom Holland who went into hiding for daring to question the history of Islam in his documentary called “Islam – The Untold Story”.

    Or world-renowned musicians like Turkish pianist and composer Fazil Say who was prosecuted and convicted of blasphemy for tweeting his opinion on islam, as were bloggers from Morocco, Tunisia, Bangledesh, Egypt and other islamic countries.

    Name me a muslim who has to live in fear for his life because of death threats coming from a westerner.

    Then name any major city, and you will find intolerance, not towards muslims, but towards westerners.

    I haven’t even touched upon the “lack of tolerance”, to put it mildly, shown to gays, females or apostates.

    8..Can you count how many churches, synagogues and temples are being built in islamic countries? Not one. And if any do exist, they are in the process of being destroyed, whereas westerners allow the construction of so many mosques in their own countries. Yet muslims say that westerners are intolerant, that they are islamophobic.

    9..The only way I see muslims living in harmony with others, is to undergo a reformation as other religions have done, to forgo the 2nd more violent part of the koran, which dictates complete intolerance of ALL other religions. But unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this is going to happen any time too soon, if ever.

    And as an aside, the prayer I mentioned above that conveys antipathy towards non-muslims, is from the MORE TOLERANT part of the koran, from Mecca, not Medina.

    Any religion whose essence dictates the killing of others for the simple reason of not being the same, is NOT a religion. That belief system would comprise a totalitarian supremacist ideology bent on making every individual subservient to the common cause, at any expense, which entails the killing of innocents whose only crime is being different.

    Say it ain’t so Tamster or anyone else who chooses to counter these arguments. I’m willing to hear your side of things, sans obscenities.

    As a Muslim, it pains me to admit that what you have stated is in fact true. However, let it be said that not all Muslims are extremists, nor do we all share the same views. As unfortunate as it is, the message of a religious text that was once so pure has been misconstrued. There are Muslims out there who are not as callous-minded as those extremists who wish for nothing but the worst upon all those who don’t share their illogical views.

    The Quran is an ancient text and is from a time where there was little tolerance in the world. Times have changed and with that, I believe mentalities should change. I am not saying that such extreme mentalities are ever acceptable, but you seem intelligible, so I’m sure you’re familiar with brain-washing. In the same way some Muslims are intolerant of other religions, individuals from said religions feel the same about Muslims, if not worse. I guess the most important thing here is tolerance. People need to get up from under their rocks and educate themselves about their own religions as well as others’. Religion is about love and acceptance, not hatred and disdain. I guess it’s time people learned that hate is not the opposite of love. Indifference is. And though I don’t necessarily promote indifference, per se, I prefer it to hatred.

First, you write that “religion is about love and acceptance, not hatred and disdain.” How does islam fit into your equation, given Mohammed’s hatred and intolerance for non-believers, and given that he is the exemplary role model for all of mankind to emulate. In other words, what he hates (infidels), must be, and is, hated by his followers as well.

    How do moderate muslims really feel about this? We don’t see many moderates speaking out against the radicals, or against the more violent chapters of the Koran, which are presently being enacted all across the world.

    Second, no one is saying that all muslims are extremists. We know. That’s not the issue. However, as I mentioned earlier in this thread, history has proven that it only takes a minority of radicals to topple a government, as was the case with the totalitarian regimes of Nazi Germany, Communist Russia, Communist China, and pre-World War II Japan.

    Today the equivalent of Nazi Germany’s murderous ideology is spreading globally by a minority of radical muslims. However, that minority is almost equivalent to the population of the U.S. — 317 million — assuming the radicals constitute 10-15% of the world muslim population of roughly 1.5 billion, which gives between 150 million and 225 million radicals. Not such a small minority.

    Now that’s cause for concern, especially when we don’t see very many moderate muslims stopping this rather large minority. It is this minority, spread across the world, that is responsible for causing so much death and destruction that cannot be compared to the misdoings of any other religious group today.

    If religion is about “love” and “acceptance”, as you say, then where are these key components in islam? It seems to me that the essence of this religion, based upon the koranic verses from Medina, is “hatred” and “disdain”. Can this be changed, how, and by whom?

    It pains me to break it to you, but anyone who subscribes to the doctrine of Islam is by definition one of the extremists whom you try to distinguish yourself from. There were civilised and courteous members of the National Socialist Party and they were, by definition, extremists.

    I notice that you too fail to produce evidence to support your absurd, self-pitying claims (“the message of a religious text that was once so pure”; “There are Muslims out there who are not as callous-minded as those extremists”; “Times have changed and with that, I believe mentalities should change”; “individuals from said religions feel the same about Muslims, if not worse”; “Religion is about love and acceptance, not hatred and disdain”). Because you can’t.

    I also notice your failure to renounce the support your line receives from such characters as ‘Softbobsuckshardpenis’ and ‘You are scum from’. They have directed foul abuse against cbsashenka, and you fail to defend him/her even as you seek to curry his/her favour. I wonder what motivates such passivity on your part? The good-cop-bad-cop routine springs to mind. If your overtures to cbsashenka were sincere (“you seem intelligible”, ahem…) then defence of a friend would have been your first impulse.

    Now for some more facts:

    The Koran itself calls at least three times for non-muslims to be killed “wherever you find them” (verses 2:191, 4:89, 9:5). And before you come the old ‘context’ chestnut, the context is clear: “wherever you find them”.

    The Koran itself also sanctions, and to some extent mandates, the taking of slaves (particularly child sex slaves, a disgusting trait which is rife amongst British muslims) in war – 14 times, with the reference to “those whom your right hands *possess*”. Mohammed took slaves; his followers took slaves; he praised his followers for taking slaves.

    Islamic doctrine is obsessed with hostility to the kaffir:

    – The Meccan Koran devotes 68% of its text to the kaffir
    – The Medinan Koran devotes 57%
    – The Sira devotes 81%
    – The hadith devote 37%

    And Islamic doctrine is particularly vile about the Jews.

    – 6.7% of the Koran is devoted to anti-Semitism
    – 11.8% of the Sira
    – 8.9% of the Hadith

    To put this in context, Adolph Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampt’ devotes 7% of its text to anti-Semitism.

    What is so morally abominable is precisely that these texts don’t change. Mohammed is the perfect example for all people for all time, whom muslims must follow (Koran verses 3:31, and 33:21). In addition, the Koran itself can never be abrogated, except by itself, because it is the direct word of god for all time.

    So much for your soft soap about “Times have changed and with that, I believe mentalities should change” – I’m sure you know that that is nonsense.

    Christianity today, Judaism, and other religions are very much about love and acceptance. However, Islam is and always has been about hatred and disdain, as cbsashenka showed you – please re-read.

    The only way that you can change your mentality is to abandon your violent and hate filled religion. It is possible that you are genuinely embarrassed by your religion and your part in it, hence your ridiculous mental back-flips.

    But sooner or later you are going to have to choose whether you want to be a good or evil person, and whether you wish to perpetuate evil in the world or to take the courage to promote the good. From your contribution here, I think you are going to choose evil over goodness precisely because you lack courage.

    Just to be clear, before Islam, Hindus in huge numbers, Sikhs, Jews, various flavours of Christians and Buddhists and pagans and every imaginable set of supernaturalist and mystical belief systems you can imagine lived in relative harmony in the UK and for that matter, the entire Western world with few problems. Even the Holocaust was not a religious conflict but a national-socialist issue based on a false construct of what Jews are.

    It was not until muslims showed up in numbers that suddenly there is this great need for ‘tolerance’ and of course, its always needed for the Muslims. Interestingly there was no need of it before. Notice that in pretty much every single armed conflict in the world, muslims are on one or both and sometimes even all three sides of it.

    It is also worth noting that in any area, not even country but area where Islam is sufficiently established there are no other religions ‘tolerated’ to the extent of anything close to equal.

    To get an idea of the truth of this, go to Iran, Gaza, Afghanistan, Pakistan or one of a dozen other countries and tell the locals you are a gay jew.

    Then go to London Ontario and explain you are an islamic supremacist who wants government money to teach a course at a public university open only to Muslims for the purpose of better teaching rhetorical tricks for proselytizing and you will get paid to do it. Think I’m kidding?

    So we have come to this interesting crossroads.

    If, as you say, you want more tolerance in the world, then the road to that is an ironic one.

    We need far far less tolerance of Islam, and we will see a general uptick in overall tolerance world wide.

    I think this policy should continue untill there are at least as many churches as mosques in Saudi Arabia and muslims stop murdering the random innocent every-time someone draws a damn cartoon. So yes. When it comes to tolerance and Islam, less is more.

    In here as a Muslim, I have so many friends from Indonesia, France, Arab, Russia and Japanese and Chinese etc…, I usually pray five times a day and I read Quran every day with its translation.
    Actually if we study the history of Islam, before Mohammad converts to Islam, he was a Christian, his father was a Christian and so his mother and all family and region, but when the message from God was sent to him, that Mohammad; you are the messenger of God, as the Eisa
    (Jesus), Dawood (David), Musa (Muses), Adam (Adam), Ibrahim (peace be upon on all of them), You teach the people that there is only one GOD which is the greatest of all and he has no son and daughter and father and mother, so:
    When Mohammad converted to Islam, he didn’t kill his uncle, best friend, wife, cousin and all Arabs, but he converts all of them to Islam by love, as Mohammad was known for his high mortality in the Makkah.
    Quran says that there is no difference for GOD, between Arab and others, black and white, male and female, young and old, rich and poor but the nearest is the one who is more educated.
    Islam ordered to live peacefully with your wives family and the world, and don’t kill your daughters. (as it was very common before in Arab). “We can see the modern world quotes these now”.
    Islam is a religion which says ” try your best to gain knowledge”, so if we go further we can find that if you study more about the science, mathematics, geology or everything so your believe, would become more stronger.
    Islam teaches us to “come to the common terms”, it means that say to the Jews and Christians and others to bring their books or something they believe, and debate with them. you can’t find any verse in the Quran that it is mentioned to kill the non Muslims, (but if they attack you),
    The problem with the most of the people is that they don’t study the whole Quran and just get some versus only, for example if I study the history of Afghanistan and I only say that USA attacked on Afghanistan, USA killed lots of people in Afghanistan, but if I did not study the whole history that why USA attacked on Afghanistan, so I wouldn’t find that if USA wouldn’t attacked Afghanistan, it may caused lots of problems to the world, or the same with the world wars.
    So I advise my Muslim and non Muslim friends to love each other, and do you know that a Muslim who does not believe that Jesus and Moses are one of the greatest human beings, he is not called a Muslim, let’s love each other and debate with each other in peace, the person that killed his son and daughter he was sick, no one like to kill his children.
    I really like the high culture of Japanese people, although they don’t believe on God, but they are acting the same as Islam teaches us, (to don’t cheat with any human being, live in peace, don’t harm anyone but if they are attack you, always say the truth and smile to the world so the world smiles to you.

I can spend days on here arguing with you all and proving my point that the problem here isn’t ISLAM but people like you, but i have better things to do with my time. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and has been for many years. Whether you like it or not Muslims rule majority of the world and are in charge of the things we need to live our everyday lives. Without Saudi’s oil deals with North America we’d all be in big trouble. You say The middle East is messed up yet Westerners are starting to vacation there the most especially Dubai!   16. Hello Elyasuddin Jalal and Tamster86, let’s try to stick to the main points here, otherwise there are just too many things to tackle.

    I’ve commented on a few controversial topics here on this thread, and am awaiting your replies or comments, in hope that they relate directly to my queries/comments, and that they do not stray into various other new issues. We can deal with new issues afterwards.

    If I sound hateful, it’s because I’m repeating “hateful” verses from the Koran about the non-believer, and hateful verses from the Umdat al-Saliq which justify honor killings and position what-is-considered-“family-honor”-in-Islam BEFORE FAMILY.

    The Umdat al-Saliq (section o1.1-2) says that a father or mother who kills his/her child to preserve so-called family honor, is NOT subject to “retaliation” or punishment under sharia law.

    This is because Islam MUST come first; everything must be done first and foremost to preserve Islam, even it if means killing your own child who acted out AGAINST Islam. This is what the manual says, it is not me making this up. And we have seen this happen across the globe, even in Western countries. This cannot be denied.

    In many Islamic countries where men kill to preserve Islamic family honor, their sentences are suspended or they are even pardoned!- because honor killing in Islam is not considered an offense. In Syria, I believe the sentence is only 2 years for killing a family member. And the rulings on this matter are based on the Umdat al Saliq.

    Like I said, I am just repeating what is already written in highly venerated Islamic texts like the Umdat al-Saliq (The Reliance of the Traveller), which is certified as one of the most venerated and reliable guides to Islamic Sunni law by Egypt’s Al-Azhar university, the most respected authority in Sunni Islam.

    Look at this: “Jordanian gets reduced sentence for ‘honor killing’ ” — of this daughter (from AFP, Feb. 6, 2014):

    It is not “I” who am hateful. I accept people of all faiths, AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT PERSECUTE ME FOR NOT BEING OF THEIR FAITH, which is what Islam does, due to its obligation of “Dawa” (proselytization) and its duty to convert everyone to Islam — or as Muslims often say, “revert” back to Islam, or live as a 2nd-class citizen under Islam and pay the “jizya”, the tax that a non-Muslim must pay to the Muslim simply for not being Muslim.

    If that isn’t considered hatred against the non-believer, I don’t know what is.

    You infer that these koranic verses write about killing non-believers ONLY out of self-defense, inferring that warfare is restricted to a purely defensive manner.

    And then you write telling me that “you can’t find any verse in the Quran that it is mentioned to kill the non Muslims, (but if they attack you)”.

    Well, I can. There are verses that tell Muslims to kill non-Muslims, even if the non-Muslim does not attack the Muslim. These verses are offensive, not defensive.

    But first, the nature of Islam is NOT purely defensive, as you make it out to be. If it were, then there would not a great emphasis on or a great duty to converting the non-believer (Dawa). It is an obligation in Islam to spread Islam across the entire world, until the world is Islamic.

    It is not like this in ANY OTHER RELIGION. One, other religions are not expansionists, and two, they allow you to convert back to the original religion, without fear of reprisal, of being punished by death, as is the case in Islam.     Have you ever stopped to think, to shed your religious beliefs for a moment, and wonder why, why does it matter so much to you what religion someone is? Yes, there are many corrupt people in the world who follow no religion, or who follow other religions. There are all kinds of people in this world, and that includes people who have a good heart despite living by a religion other than Islam, or living religion-free.

    But based on your criteria, what determines whether or not someone has a good heart or soul, depends on his religion. In other words, if someone is muslim, he/she is good.

    And I thought you said that everyone is considered equal? But in your thought process, people are considered equal ONLY IF they are all muslims.

    So tell me, who really is the hateful one here?

    Yes, it’s true, the koran does advocate self-defense, or defense jihad (2:190-194): “Fight oh God’s cause against those who fight you…..” and “If they do fight you, kill them…” showing that Muslims must attack in self-defense.

    BUT, again, there are verses in between and around verses 190 and 194 that are not mentioned, like: “kill them wherever you encounter them” and “fight them until there is no more persecution (of muslims) and worship is devoted to Allah alone.” In other words, until all have converted to Islam and only Allah is worshipped. DO you not see how hateful this is towards those who are not muslim? And you speak of Islamophobia?

    Then look at verses 138, 120, and 218 in the same chapter (Chapter 2). The first one listed (2:138) says that “if they (the non-believer) believes as you do, they will be rightly guided. But if they turn their backs, then they will be entrenched in opposition.”

    So as long as Jews and Christians do not believe in Islam, it’s ok to kill them. I don’t even need the koranic verses to confirm this. All I have to do is take a look around the world and see the killings of innocents going on.

    Please explain to me WHY Christians are getting massacred, in, say, Egypt? The Copts are not attacking Muslims (Copts now constitute a minority in Egypt). Or in the Philippines, or in so many other places. Tell me why these innocent Copts are getting killed, if, as you say, it is not because of religion.

    Then what IS IT because of, if not religion? And why are Muslims killing Muslims, in, say, Syria? Why? Is this what you call a peace-loving religion? THINK, without any pre-conceived notions, try to feel. Is it possible? OR is it too late?

    One of my first comments referred to verse 5:32 and how that verse was directed to the Jews (“Children of Israel”), which is always left out in the attempt to convert infidels.

    Also, I mentioned that the part of that verse which says that if you kill one human, it’s like killing all of mankind, does NOT apply equally to all of mankind. That verse makes some people LESS EQUAL than others — because that very same verse allows Jews to kill disbelievers, or non-muslims, or those who cause fitna or corruption on the earth (the other part of the verse that is not mentioned). Those people are allowed to be killed, and do not fit into the equation of saving one is like saving all of humanity.

    So non-Muslims are considered to be of LESSER value. This is what is taught in Islam to people of all ages, to little children.

    Who’s the hateful one here? Not me or others like me, who believe in “true” equality for ALL, regardless of race, creed OR RELIGION – as long as that religion is not bent on destroying us!

    We are just reacting to the totalitarianism of Islam, and its hatred of non-Muslims (not to mention the degradation of women, gays, etc.)

    Getting back to verses 5:32-33, look at the following verses (5:34-35) and notice the barbaric penalties listed that are imposed upon those who simply do not believe in Allah: they are to be SLAIN, CRUCIFIED, HANDS and FEET CUT OFF from alternate sides, EXPELLED from the land, etc.

    That sure doesn’t sound like defensive warfare to me. That sounds hateful — against unbelievers. Where is the peace and the love you speak of?

    Oh, and incidentally, the charities that muslims donate to (one of the pillars of Islam, Zakat or charity), are charities that are ALWAYS and ONLY related to Islam. Yes, only Islam.

    And you say it’s not about religion? What about the gays who are hung in Iran in the public square for all to see, including young children? What about the beheadings that take place in Chop Chop Square in Saudi Arabia? Women getting stoned or lashed for allegedly committing adultery, or for being raped? All this takes place where Islamic or Sharia law is the rule of the land.

    Do you honestly think that Westerners who are more aware, want to see this happen in their own countries?

    Do you honestly think that Westerners who know more about this religion, would convert to Islam?

    Those who know nothing about Islam, convert. And then, when it’s too late, they want to convert back to their original religion once they learn how much Islam hates infidels and wants to convert them to make the world Dar al-Islam, where only Islamic law prevails.

    However the converts cannot convert back, because this is not allowed under totalitarian Islam, yes, totalitarian – the death sentence is issued for apostates (and blasphemers).

    It would be fascinating to read responses in kind from that “rara avis”, a genuine Muslim scholar. That’s not a total oxymoron, they do – or did – exist tucked away in major academies, like Al-Azhar.

    Fatimids picked up Greek philosophy; Maimonides taught medicine and astronomy. The fact that they don’t do Wahhabi, or didn’t in the past, argues in their favor. Islam picked up the Rabbinic responsa tradition 1000 years ago; there must have been something better than what we’re seeing here and now.

    I don’t know how often the ‘great scholars’ in the history of Islamic ‘thought’ ever seriously debated the ‘ideas’ in their ‘religion’ (apologies for the annoying quotation marks). The instances of more liberal-minded Muslims in history that get pointed to repeatedly (like the Mughal emperor Akbar ) seem very much the exception to the rule. The norm must have been to keep Islam hermetically sealed from genuine inquiry, or from even the least hint of skeptical inquiry. The pitiable showing on the part of the Muslims on this thread is an outcome of centuries of that.

    And speaking of black, islam’s prophet also put down the black people, who were considered by Mohammed to be secondary beings living along the edge of the earth, close to where the sun sets and rises (as the earth was considered to be flat).

    The black color did make a difference to Mohammed. Seems black muslims still don’t realize that racism (with its cult-like brainwashing) DOES exist in islam. The muslim slave trade in Africa lasted 1400 years (mohammed owned and sold black slaves) and is still going strong, because islam looks at blacks as inferior. Go back to the hadiths and the koran, it’s all there.

    So, you tell us to “get more educated and to come back with valid points” as a tactic to avoid responding to any of our points, and you avoid responding because you simply can’t.     Typical muslim. Responds to a story about muslims following islamic law and killing their children, by threatening to kill those non-muslims who dare to speak of this story.

    Well, guess what? On one of my protests against the evil that is islam, Istood alone with one female friend for 5 hours, debating with ignorant and/or violent muslims. The muslims threatened to kill us, when we saw police go by and we told them what these muslims were saying (the muslim claimed to have concealed weapons on them), the police refused to search the muslims and walked on.

    But we didn’t move from our spot for 5 hours. Until every single one of 3000 muslims had walked by and abused us. After an hour of this abuse and threats, my tiny female companion started to tell these 1000s of muslims that they were “pussies” who wouldn’t even dare attack a small group like us.

    As the afternoon wore on, more and more non-muslim passers-by – none of whom knew my friend or I — joined us. And they too wiped the floor with the muslims in debate. Two of them were just tourists on holiday in my country. But they interrupted their holiday to join with 2 people against a crowd of 3000 threatening those 2 with death.

    And what was truly funny, was that the communists who had been marching with the muslims started to openly question why they were supporting such scummy, violent people.

  49. Unfortunately these social issues are not as black and white as some of you happen to believe. Instead of offending one sixth of the planet by posting intolerant and hurtful comments one needs to inform him or herself before collectively blaming over one and a half BILLION people!

    This horrible crime is called filicide which is the deliberate act of killing ones own children. In a study spanning over two decades by the Justice Department parents were responsible for 60% of child murders under the age of five!

    Here are some of the recorded cases of the most horrific filicides committed by non-muslim Americans that defy anything a healthy mind believes in:

    In February of 2012, Josh Powell from West Valley, Utah attacked his own two sons with a hatchet before blowing up his house in a premeditated murder-suicide. It was speculated that authorities were close to finding incriminating evidence to tie Josh to his wife’s disappearance, which is why he decided to murder his children and take his own life.

    In May of 2010, Lianne Smith admitted to having suffocated her 5 year old daughter, and 11-month-old son in Spain after her long-term partner was arrested on child sex offenses. She probably knew that her boyfriend was a pedophile during their relationship, but she didn’t mind at all. So, when the charges were raised against her boyfriend she decided to just murder her kids!

    In April of 2001, Robert Fisher of Scottsdale, Arizona, killed his wife and his two children, by slitting the throats of the three victims before blowing up his house and fleeing the scene. Investigators would uncover that Robert Fisher was a controlling husband and father, and therefore in danger of being divorced by his wife.

    In June of 2001, we found out that Andrea Yates had drowned her five children, aged between six months and seven years, in the bathtub of her suburban Houston home. She believed that the devil was inside her, and that by killing her children she would save them from hell.

    In October of 1997, Susan Dianne Eubanks of California shot and killed her four children ages 4 to 14 in an execution style at her home. During her trial there were allegations of child abuse and talk of revenge against her ex-husband prior to the murders.

    In June of 1996, Darlie Routier of Texas stabbed and brutally murdered her two sons. Darlie was experiencing financial difficulties, so she killed her sons to collect on a life insurance policy.

    In October of 1994, Susan Smith of South Carolina deliberately rolled her car into a lake to drown her two sons. Smith had been conducting an affair with a man who had no interest in children, so she believed that getting rid of her own kids could rekindle their relationship.

    In December of 1989, Debra Jean Milke asked two acquaintances to kill her 4 year old son, Christopher. According to court records, Debra found the child to be an inconvenience and wanted him to be killed. She dressed the child in his favorite clothes and cowboy boots and told him that he was going to the mall to see Santa Claus. The two men drove Christopher near a desert and shot the boy three times in the back of the head.

    In May of 1983, Diane Downs of Oregon shot her three children and killed them because she had been conducting an affair with a married man named Robert Knickerbocker. Since he did not want children in his life, it is believed that Downs decided to kill her kids so she could continue the affair.

    In March of 1976, William Bradford Bishop of Bethesda, Maryland killed his wife, his mother, and his three sons and burned their bodies before concealing them in a shallow grave in a wooded area. Bishop was an employee of the State Department, and decided to leave work early on March 1 after discovering that he had been passed over for a promotion. It is theorized that this event might have caused him to snap.

    In November of 1971, John List shot his wife and mother at the family’s home, and then shot two of his children after they returned from school. He then went to watch his older son playing in a soccer game at school, before driving him home and shooting him too. List was unemployed and experiencing financial difficulties at the time of the murders, and his family didn’t even know he had lost his job. In his own twisted mind, List believed it was better to send his family to heaven rather than give them a share in his hardships, so he killed them and disappeared to start a new life.

    NONE OF THESE HORRIBLE CRIMES WERE COMMITTED BY THE MUSLIMS!
