CBC Changes Headline Three Times, Removes More Than 300 Comments
This is our second public statement on CBC’s coverage of The Epoch Times’ special edition. To read our first statement, please click here.
I would like to give an update on the developments surrounding CBC’s slanderous coverage of The Epoch Times’ special edition on Beijing’s coverup of the virus outbreak which led to a global pandemic.
I would also like to set the record straight that The Epoch Times special edition is in no way “advancing conspiracy” theories or claiming that the virus is “manufactured” as a bioweapon by China as alleged by CBC’s article, as I will make clear later in this statement.
Since the initial publication of its article on April 29, CBC has quietly made substantial changes to its headline three times—all without informing readers of the change or issuing a correction.

Apologies for slipping up on Reader’s Links post for today. I usually make a whole bunch at once to auto-post and sometimes I forget where they end and don’t find out till I wake up and there isn’t one.
Look on the bright side. Now, not only does every cannabis user in the country hate Trudeau’s guts for betraying them and tripling the price for dried-out mediocre weed and destroying a perfectly-working organically-formed industry, but now every duck hunter in Grande Prairie is going to hate him just as much for screwing with his beloved winter-time gun-hobby, which is sitting there with a hot coffee when it’s 40 below outside and the fire is blazing, the dog is farting, and spending the afternoon making bullets and cleaning guns and fiddling with some detail and reading “Duck Hunter’s Weekly”, or whatever.
I know rural Canadians who make their own ammunition and know all the hunting laws and have the right licenses and go to the range to practice. The idea that they are crazy people firing off their six-guns like Pecos Pete is really lame… And as far as I know, we don’t really have a problem with school-shooters with AR-15s and the recent extreme example was done with illegal firearms so the law would have no effect anyway. Trudeau is out of control… Maybe Canadians will wake up and jettison the idiot… Hey, if Michael Moore can wake up than anybody can…
The law would have no effect anyway because its already illegal to go on shooting sprees.
Gun control laws aren’t about controlling guns and preventing crimes of violence, they are about controlling people. When a significant portion of the population is armed you are citizens of the nation, when you have allowed the Government to disarm you you are a subject of the State.
Britain became the center of democracy and freedom because of two things:
1) the old Saxon Law, Let All Free Men Be Armed if you were a peasant you were required to own a knife that could be used in Battle.
2) After William the Conquer successfully invaded Britain others started looking at Britain as a place where they could become a Monarch. William and his successors modified the Saxon Law and required all free men to own and practice with English/Welsh Long Bows. He also required all villi ages to furnish a certain number of bows to the Government every year and a certain number of “cloth yard” arrows every month. Switzerland was the only other feudal nation that allowed the peasants to own weapons that could take an armored knight off his horse.
The above is why Britain became the Mother of Democracy, unfortunately they and the members of their commonwealth have allowed corrupt politicians to disarm the common people turning them into what are in effect serfs to the Government.
Trudeau has delusions that he is a Dictator and we are now waiting to see if the Canadians want to be Citizens or Subjects?
We are seeing the same political power game play out in the Dem controlled States as the Governors start seizing more and more power and start oppressing the people. We are seeing large numbers of people in the Dem States protest the unconstitutional orders and even more engage in civil disobedience. Canada and the rest of the Western Nations are being shown what to do, will they follow our lead and start showing the politicians they are Civil Servents not Civil Masters?
Well said. If we know anything from history it’s that people will always “go wrong” and are not to be trusted: they will try to exploit and control their fellows (if they can get away with it). So the best we can do is to build some sort of system with checks and balances in place to try to prevent specific individuals or groups from gaining too much power (yay USA! Though that last bastion of common sense and freedom is under siege as well). Anyway, an armed populace is certainly one obvious check on the power of the unscrupulous, of evil.
Yeah we are under siege but in the long run we will win, the Dems are believing their own propaganda, they are going up against a whole lot of well trained people who want to remain free. Trudeau is actually making it easier for the States but nasty for the Canadians, with him as a nasty example the useful idiots won’t have as much power as they do right now.
Its going to get wild but in the long run we will win and North America (at least the portion North of hte Rio Grande) will remain free.
