  2. A bit of a tangent here, but this is one of the reasons I am so opposed to the so-called “proportional” voting system. Wingnuts! People who think crazy stuff like the eradication of borders or the giving of sex-change therapy to children. Look, a certain percentage of humans are either crazy, evil or just plain stupid and there’s nothing we can do about that but Lord, don’t devise a system that gives them a guaranteed voice for the rest of time. Let the Silly Parties die as they should and don’t give them oxygen because they are fucking wingnuts…

    Under the proportional system, you will end up with lots of parties and lots of Nazis and Communists and Rhinos and Greens and Feminists and other such insane idiots. Not a good idea…

        • I have one irrefutable argument against the “proportional” voting system. It is too complicated for the average person to understand and therefore is not appropriate for them to use. We can’t have our voting system like the inside of our CPU chips, it has to be simple enough to understand not comprehendible-by-experts-only which the representative system is.

          I would vote for runoff elections in cases of vote-splitting… They do that in Germany and it makes sense to me. Why should a “spoiler” party win just because of a trick of numbers and circumstance…?

    • I have the same objection to the Canadian constitution. Its incomprehensible for the most part, and where it isn’t, it offers things it cannot deliver.

      If it cannot be understood then its useless as a guarantor of rights.

      The US one, despite the increasingly antique language, is infinity better. Anyone with an average IQ that has been well schooled can get it. Especially the Bill of Rights.

  3. Writing civil letters to your MP, tell them your concerns. Know your topic.
    And if you can, join a local group that’s working on something you care about. There’s safety in numbers.
    If you can’t join a local group there are plenty on the internet if you look around.

    One letter to an MP might not count for much, though you never know what effect your words can have, but if they get an avalanche of letters all making sense, then I think they will pay attention. At least they will know that people are holding them to account.

    He finds that the rate of hospitalisation after a suicide attempt is twice as high amongst people who had puberty blockers. Gobsmacking.

    • Sorry, I just realized it’s too late for his daughter. On the positive side, the father is pursuing a new direction in life, one that will bring him great satisfaction in due time. God Bless this man.

  5. Damn them for screwing with the sexuality of a child in the name of their beloved socialism and their Marxist imperative that everyone is the same and that nature and instinct have no value. Lord knows how our sexuality comes together at early puberty and damn anyone who thinks they have the right to mess with children when they don’t really understand what they are doing.
