At least ONE municipal leader has it right. But will he follow through?

There is one word in the translation our translator didn’t get. A commenter at Youtube filled in the blanks:

Si vis pacem, para bellum 1 hour ago (edited)
At 0:08 the word marked unintelligible is “cecchini” = snipers. He is saying that they are placing snipers in Piazza San Marco (the most famous square in Venice and the one which gets the biggest crowds of tourists).

  2. Golly gee willikers, I seem to recall there being some mention made of “snipers” back during the G20 riots in Hamburg. What a coincidence.
