Germany: “Have made use of my right to kill my wife”

An original translation by Nash Montana

From Die Welt: A German news site:

A refugee, charged with murder, is facing the court. It is his right to kill his wife, the Iraqi had said to the police. Why he now has to go to prison, he cannot understand.

The 32 year old strangled his wife to death out of jealousy. The refugee delivered no statements about the murder to the court in Regensburg.

According to the prosecution, Jumaah K. was convinced that his 26 year old wife and mother of their three children, had an affair with another man. Therefore last November, the man strangled his wife to death in their bedroom in Laaber, township of Regensburg.

During the murder the three small children were in the house

After the murder, the man went to the police and turned himself in, accompanied by his three year old daughter. A little later the police discovered the body of the woman. An interrogator reported on Monday that the husband had said: “I have made use of my right to kill my wife.” But why he is going to prison, he cannot understand.

The refugee family with three children ages three to eight were housed in Laaber since beginning of September of last year. According to the prosecution, the husband went to the house on November 16th and strangled his wife to death. The children were present in the house during this time. Whether they witnessed the murder of their mother is not clear.

The process is being continued on Wednesday. The verdict is expected to be pronounced on the 22th of July.

  11. Israeli Judge Rules: Chants Of ‘Allahu Akbar’ At Jews On Temple Mount Is Illegal

Cries of “Allahu Akbar” directed at Jews on the Temple Mount are illegal and constitutes disturbing the peace, the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court ruled.

“Israel’s past experience has shown that the chant is often used in contexts outside of prayer. Accompanying riots and occasionally leading to terrorism and violence,” the presiding judge, Shmuel Herbest, told the Hebrew language NRG news site.

The ruling harked back to an incident five years ago in which Sahar Ghazzawi fought a policeman off and broke his radio when he was escorted off the premises for yelling “Allahu Akbar” at a group of Jews on the flashpoint holy site.

Ghazzawi defended himself with the claim that he was not shouting at the Jews, rather he was saying the phrase as part of his religious ritual. He added that he struggled with the policeman because the latter refused his requests to go to the bathroom.

However, a witness testified that Ghazzawi’s chant was not a prayer but a way of goading Jews visiting the site. The report added that Ghazzawi may have been paid by the Islamist group Amarat al-Aqsa to visit the Temple Mount regularly in order to discourage Jews from coming.

  15. Hamas terrorists reveal: Terror tunnels inside moques

    http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/214532

Two terrorists from the Gaza Strip have been arrested for smuggling cash earmarked for Hamas activities in Judea and Samaria – in their shoes.

The two are Faiz Attar (65) of Beit Lahia, and Itallah Sarhan of Jabalia. Both towns are in the Gaza Strip

Attar was arrested last week after it was discovered that he was using his transit permit – issued for work purposes – to act as a courier for cash to fund the terrorism activities of Hamas in Judea and Samaria. The money was hidden in specially designed shoes. He was able to complete the transfer several times, with the total sum of money smuggled amounting to tens of thousands of Euros.

A Shin Bet investigation found that Attar’s family has ties with Hamas, taking part in operations against IDF forces and digging of terror tunnels. Attar’s sons have also hosted Hamas meetings in his house.

The investigation also turned up information regarding tunnel entrances – some of which are located under residential buildings, housing many innocent civilians who have no ties to terror groups, and mosques – and missile launch pads located near residential buildings, endangering the civilian population.
