Iran has doubled the number of uranium enrichment machines it has in an underground bunker, a UN report said on Thursday, showing Tehran continued to defy western pressure to stop its atomic work.

In the weeks and months when Israeli politicians increased their talk of air strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, the Islamic republic was rapidly increasing the enrichment capacity of its Fordow site, buried deep underground to withstand any such hit.

  1. Israel is not going to be the target of Irans nukes!

    The capital of the Mahdis utopian islamic reign is Jerusalem and therefore the persian fanatics will not dare to fire longrange rockets at such a delicate target. Israel is a very small country and hard to hit without drawing the dreadful ire of the great satan.

    Always remember that the islamic apocalyptic texts are full of expectations of a divinely introduced “firestorm” that will destroy Arabia and Yemen as a sign that the end is neigh and the Mahdi on his way.

    Hitting Israel will not have global consequences, but will only make it very hard for the Mullahcracy to hang on to power, none of their islamic buddies, nor the Russians or the chinese will be able to help them. And the palestinians could be destroyed by mistake.

    Want global chaos??? Want islamic prophecy to come true? Want the Mahdi to reappear? Then hit Saudi Arabia! The hated arab-sunni infidels who fund the murder of the shia-brothers in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

    Saudi Arabia is going down in (nukes+oil) flames!

  2. Pope Urban II you are making the case for Iran to hit Israel, Ahmadinejad wants chaos and hell on earth to bring back the Mahdi, he is a true believer that thinks he was put on earth to bring back the Mahdi.

    Please note Im not saying the Mullahs do not want to destroy Israel. They want that more than anything (establishing the global rule of the Mahdi and so on), but I just think their nukes will be used against Saudi Arabia first.

    Taking down the saudies will bring the entire world into chaos, will disrupt the West and send all of Dar al islam into deep apocalypto-mode. And I think that is what the persians want. Then Israel is next.

    (Its a bit on the overkill-speculative side thats true, but I really think this is going to happen)

You may be right, good strategy would be to hit Israel first but they might hit Saudi, if they do they have to hit Israel at approximately the same time, and the attack on Saudi might bring Pakistan and their nukes into the game. I hope you are right because this might, I repeat might give Israel a better chance of surviving until we can get Obama out of office.

    The big problem is that Israel is going to have to base their decision of when to attack on Iran’s capabilities, not their possible intentions. At times you can gamble on the intentions of the enemy and hold off until they make a major mistake, in this case Israel has too much at stake, they have to try and delay the Iranian nuclear program before it is used against them.
