The Montreal Gazette reports that the city of Montreal in light of recent Muslim kill the jews and subjugate the infidels marches has decided to make wearing a face mask illegal during a demonstration mirroring similar laws in New York City. I suspect we may be too far gone for that. The police have neither the resources the will or the instructions to actually represent Canadian or QUebec values when they are facing tens of thousands of mostly non Canadians starting a new intefata. I suppose the one interesting thing for most of us is any questions many of us may have about how Hitler got into power and how the whole thing slid from a strong reasonable proud Germany to the Nazi nut regime and so on will all be answered as we see many normally liberal democracies slide towards theocratic fascistic states. Its quite instructive. It turns out that it is in fact not with a bang but with a whimper.
