  1. INTERPOL is supposed to manage cross border, international crime, not tariff wars.
    If Fentanyl is the issue, then notify INTERPOL.

    • I doubt any of those agencies actually do what their mandates describe anymore.

    • Interpol cannot assist much if nobody from the local place is on the ground.
      Justin was not taking of the problem for some reason.

  2. While Trump definitely has a point about fentanyl getting into the US via BC gangs , a far larger question is why have so many Americans become addicted to fentanyl and other hard drugs? That raises a question of US society , but which doesn’t make good political PR.

    The government of China is almost certainly aware of the ties between fentanyl drug gangs in BC and the shipments of fentanyl precursors , but given that the US continually threatens war with China and is trying to destroy the Chinese economy with new tariffs , one can understand the apparent Chinese government indifference to the US fentanyl problem. The US would be no different if the roles were reversed. Look no further than what Great Britain did destroying countries to keep them in line (China included) using the opium wars.

    I support what Trump is attempting to do in the US by taking control of an out of control bureaucracy , but with regard to International finance and power he is merely replicating the same old US dominance theme of the past as the sole world super power , but now there are three super powers , US , Russia and China.

    Currently the US represents roughly 4% of the 8 billion world population , and has roughly 30% of the world population under sanctions , political , financial and military. US has imposed roughly 25,000 sanctions against Russia. BRICS represents about 55% of the world population.

    The US is a declining power but Trump still thinks he can impose through finance or to a lesser degree via military now that the US proxy war in Ukraine is lost. Trump appears to be listening to some of his financial team who have suggested the US could remove income tax by relying on tariffs … so far he has added tariffs to Canada , Europe , Mexico , China , Venezuela in a futile attempt to bring industry back to the US. Manufacturing industry left the US a long time ago and is not returning. The new manufacturing super power is China … not the US and there is nothing Trump or anyone in the US can do about it short of a nuclear war which would destroy us all.
