Looking at Google

This is a worthwhile thread. And any reader of Vlad’s for over a few months will recognize many of these events, which helps put us at ease about the veracity of his other observations.

I don’t know how to post an entire thread here, but click through to this one and you should be able to see all, 18 posts in this thread.

If power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, we need a third order of magnitude statement to describe what Google has become.

This article written years ago by an authority on the subject, details how it can be determined that Google does indeed slant its search results in contradiction to its own stated rules of operation.

  1. Type “hydroxychloroquine” into Google and behold just how carefully they control what information you see when you sincerely search for knowledge. Google has managed to turn the internet into the greatest propaganda tool in history. Imagine how happy that would have made Joseph Goebbels and Lavrentiy Beria. People could just look up the word “Jew” and up would come a full description of how they started every war in history and are a plague upon mankind, thank you very much. “Splendid!”, they would exclaim…

What supreme control the internet gives the unscrupulous. I type in, say, “climate change debate” and then up comes a bunch of stuff designed to make me think the way Google wants me to think. They literally have the power to place whatever information they like into our unsuspecting heads and make us think we came to our conclusions on our own. Very clever…

You’re damn right they have to be stopped…!!!

    • They will be stopped, not as quickly or as peacefully as everyone wants but they will be stopped.

  2. …and both attempts to post links vanished into moderation hell. I don’t know why I bother.

Video series that is enlightening on the topic of Google etc.

search in Duckduckgo for exactly this, with quotes:

    “surveillance, inc.” braving ruin

    • It isn’t moderation, its a delay on posts probably due to a DDoS attack.

      Thank you for your post.
