Many years ago, I read a report on Putin’s Russia in a Stratfor report which was quite interesting. In summary, it claimed that Russia had certain immutable problems due to its geography, and so it was always going to be a similar state be it under the Tzars, the Communists or now under Putin. The conclusion was that the real danger of Russia is its still the same place but it doesn’t have the crappy system of communism today, holding it back.
Today’s interview of Brad Johnson discuses a disturbing proof of this with the mysterious deaths by defenestration of several doctors within Russia.
Also try to avoid Chinese food in the Czech Republic.
I don’t think that anyone capable of rational thought ever thought that Putin was going to be anything but a very nasty power hungry Czar.
The Chinese assassination in the Czech Republic was a very ballsy but incredibly stupid move on their part. a lot of people are going to be very pissed at the Chinese for thinking they control that region of Europe. A lot more of them are going to stand up to China because of this action.
You may have a point. Central Europe is the end of their Silk Road Line. Maybe they want to exert their influence to scare politicos into line. It makes me wonder if Orban is playing the Chinese for what he can get before telling them to get lost, or god forbid they’re getting their claws into Hungary. It’s hard to believe anyone would fall for their b.s., but they’ve bribed their way to success everywhere.
Mr. Orban and Mr. Zeman are the most formidible leaders in the world, despite the relatively petite nations they lead. They will do what they feel is necessary to survive, but they chart their own course.
China knows NOTHING if it doesn’t understand that about these two nations and their citizens. (c.f. Greece)
Bribes are an old story, normal business in some parts of the world. In the USA we call it “lobbying”. But taking a bribe is no assurance that you’ll STAY bribed.
Beware of claws, though. You don’t want your grandchildren craving bat-rat-cat snacks.

Putin will get revenge for the Wuhan. He’s already dumping planeloads of infected Chinese back into China, starting new chains of transmission in cities far from Wuhan. But that’s nothing. He’ll settle the score in his own time.

Putin didn’t dump them in just one city. I think three key cities were gifted with infected Chinese businessmen who had been in Moscow.

Killing the Czech politicians wasn’t the only stupid move Xi made, spreading the Wuhan Flu around the world and then following up by selling defective and infected masks was another incredibly stupid move. These actions are sending mixed signals to the world, either China is about to collapse and Xi is taking the Sampson option or he thinks he has the whip hand on Eastern Europe. I don’t think he has gone totally bonkers so he has some plan that we aren’t seeing.
Talking of stupid moves pissing off Putin was a colossal mistake, Sending the planes of infected Chinese back to China was just the first bite on the apple, Putin is giong to demand much more pain from China. He will pick his time and his place to take his revenge and it is going to be bloody.
Awful lot of poor Russians trying to cope. They were dying like flies of “pneumonia” before anybody bothered testing.
They’re blessed to have their Church back. Over the last years they’ve taken to it mightily. We can be grateful they have such comfort; many other afflicted Europeans have lost it.
The reports I have read say there are 3 different strains of the Wuhan Flu infecting the world, North America has Type A the original strain I don’t remember where the other 2 strains are infecting the population.
