MONTREAL — After a week of strong urging from governments that people should keep apart to prevent the spread of COVID-19, provincial leaders — and their police forces — have stopped asking politely.
On Friday, provincial police in Ontario warned that people will face fines for violating orders to close certain businesses and to limit gatherings. Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe suggested citizens who know of anyone not self-isolating after returning from international travel should call police.
In Quebec City, police arrested a woman Friday who was infected with the virus and who was walking around outside after being mandated to stay indoors. The arrest was the first time Quebec City’s public health director issued an order to police under emergency powers granted after Premier Francois Legault declared a public health emergency March 14.
Dr. Horacio Arruda, the province’s chief medical officer, told reporters Saturday that regional health directors across the province “will have no problem” ordering police to make arrests and ensure people carrying the virus are isolated. […]

Teva, the giant Israeli pharmaceutical company, has announced that it will donate more than six million doses of hydroxychloroquine sulfate tablets through wholesalers to hospitals across the United States, starting March 31. Over 10 million tablets are expected to be shipped within a month.

Surgeon Carsten Boos, has warned the German authorities have lost track of hundreds of migrants who may be infected. He warned 40% of TB pathogens are multi drug-resistant.

It looks like there is going to be a lot of illegal immigrants (invaders) dying from the Wuhan Flu, and this is going to allow a lot of the diseases listed to spread. This is just the first of several plagues we will be facing over the next couple of decades.Thankfully after this mess most countries will set up protacals to handle epidemics and pandemics.
Im really not hearing any reports of sickness or death in Africa from this at all.
No we aren’t which is interesting, we hear of the virus in all other tropical locations but not Africa. Is that because of racism on the part of the Propaganda Media or some other cause. There are a lot of Chinese in Africa and some of them went home for New Years and then returned to Africa so why no reports of virus?
The John Hopkins map shows 5 dead for all of Sub Shararan Africa, this may be because it is summer down there and the cool weather hasn’t started. Reports from South America say the infection rate is increasing as the temps drop. Another possible reason is that the dead are listed as having died from a pre existing condition. Given what the map shows of the other countries with similar tems this is the most logical reason for the lack of death. Does any of the regular readers with a medical background know more about what is happening in Africa?
I have also heard that Africans are less prone to getting this for genetic reasons. I think that if this was spreading in Africa, thats all we would hear about.
They might be genetically prone to get the virus, combine that with the anti-Malaria drug and you have an ethnic group that got lucky.
I heard the theory that the reason there isn’t much Wuhan Flu in Africa is because they routinely take the anti malaria drug that kills the flu virus.
