  1. I didn’t translate the beginning of the video because it refers to the Police P.R. Spokesperson stating that the family said the assailant was under intense physiatric care with serious mental issues and had been institutionalized some years before.

    But nowhere, do we see the family stating such. And no physician or hospital either to corroborate the story. It’s a pretty narrative with no backup.

    Question: If he was so psychiatrically-disturbed, why was he living alone in Paris? We all know the outrageous rental costs in Paris and suburbs. Also, no mention of him working for a living.

    IMHO: I’ve been following France and the Greater-Paris-Area for many years. Never have I read of someone living alone without working, except for single seniors who live meagerly on their pensions.

    P.S.: I was there a few times, only a stopover before a return flight. Back in 2000, it cost $125 US for a 10′ X 10′ cramped hotel room in a medium-class neighborhood. We had to step over our luggage to get to the tiny bathroom.
