1. Virginia increases corrections budget in anticipation of Jailing gun owners
Adopting a ‘religious freedom’ law that opens the door to persecuting a particular faith would normally be seen as a horrifying breach of human rights, but when done to Orthodox Serbs in Montenegro, the West doesn’t seem to mind.
Montenegro’s ruling regime rammed the controversial law through the parliament in the dead of night between Thursday and Friday. Every single amendment of the opposition Democratic Front (DF) – proposed to alleviate concerns that the bill was deliberately targeting the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) – was rejected. When some DF members disrupted the session in protest, all of them were arrested and jailed.

Even though the law, as written, could be used to go after the Roman Catholic Church or the Islamic community, members of the Bosniak (Muslim) and Croat (Catholic) ethnic parties supported it, further demonstrating that its real purpose was to go after the SOC.

New York City’s Jewish community is reeling from a spate of recent attacks believed to be motivated by anti-Semitism as Mayor Bill de Blasio announced beefed-up police forces in affected communities.
Around the city, police have gotten at least six seven reports this week of incidents possibly propelled by anti-Jewish bias.
At around 12:40am on Friday, a woman screamed ‘F*** you, Jews!’ and then slapped three other women in the face and head after encountering them on a Crown Heights corner, police said.
The victims, who range in age from 22 to 31, suffered minor pain, police said.
Tiffany Harris, 30, was arrested on a hate-crime harassment charge.

4. Islamic State in Nigeria ‘beheads Christian hostages’
The Islamic State group has released a video claiming to show the killing of 11 Christians in Nigeria.
IS said it was part of its recently declared campaign to “avenge” the death of its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi during a US raid in Syria in October.
No details were given about the victims, who were all male, but IS says they were “captured in the past weeks” in Nigeria’s north-eastern Borno State.
The 56-second video was produced by the IS “news agency” Amaq.
It was released on 26 December and analysts say it was clearly timed to coincide with Christmas celebrations.
(One can’t help but wonder if maybe we would do better at stopping these sorts of events if we tried something new, like not funding or helping or emboldening jihadis)

7. New York Jailbreak: Illegal Alien Freed After Allegedly Killing Mother of Three on Christmas Eve

A New York state law that allows accused criminals to be freed from prison the same day they are arrested for violent crimes has freed an illegal alien accused of killing a mother of three on Christmas Eve.
Jorge Flores-Villalba, a 27-year-old illegal alien, according to Assemblyman Colin Schmitt, was arrested after he allegedly admitted to hitting and killing mother of three Marie “Rosie” Osai, who was a legal immigrant from Haiti, in a Christmas Eve crash on Long Island, New York.
“I was driving and I did strike a person,” Flores-Villalba allegedly told law enforcement officials. “I didn’t call the police. I was afraid because I don’t have a license.”
After being charged with felony fleeing the scene of a deadly accident, Flores-Villalba was arraigned and then freed without bail on Christmas day — less than 24 hours after Osai was allegedly killed.
Family friend Irene Secone told New York CBS Local that Osai’s friends and relatives are “devastated” while “this man on Christmas day goes home and spends it with his family.”
(So 1. Illegally in US. 2. Driving with no licence. 3. Killing someone with his car. 4. Not calling authorities. They should let him go when he figures out how to bring her back from the dead.)

Back in the 1950s and beyond North America was indeed a land of white supremacy. With rare exceptions, there wasn’t any such as a woman pilot or doctor or lawyer or school principal or TV repairperson or letter carrier and you didn’t see a cop with a turban or any color in his skin. It was a British colony and it definitely favored white people a lot. I remember a man calling me, “White, single, and twenty-one” and I remember that it meant you had the world on a string and all things were possible…
But the thing is that the vast majority of white people from the baby boom thought white supremacy was terribly unfair and they voted to make it illegal to discriminate in favor of white people, not because of the urgings of Maxine Waters or Al Sharpton, but because they were liberal and believed white supremacy was wrong. But today’s left is trying to rewrite history and paint white people as being just like they were back in the fifties as the leftists dream of a day when they all rise up in the middle of the night and slit the white man’s throats and breathe the sweet air of freedom for the first time. Lord, Lord…
Their actions are building the very society they claim to hate.
1 – There are a lot of people saying there won’t be a civil war over the gun control laws in Virginia, the actions of the left say they aren’t going to back off from many of the laws they have pre filed. Despite what we are seeing in all of the articles and videos it is not the right that is driving the push into a civil war, it is the actions of the left and despite all of the evidence to the contrary they think the voters will back them and peacefully allow themselves to be disarmed and in some cases arrested.
The actions of the left has shown a very large number of people that they aren’t going to back off and that they think they can force us to tolerate a totalitarian government. When you look at the other actions of the left you see that they are saying they will continue to impeach Trump no matter how this attempt turns out. And there are two articles (one from Politico) saying they are working to Impeach VP Pence, they think the people will set still and allow them to illegally seize control of the government. Their actions in Virginia are just one more gun control effort but are part of an organized attempt to turn us into a socialist dictatorship.
2 – The Copts (RC) should know they are next on the list but it looks like the historical conflicts are over riding their good sense.
