Wow. Unless someone was watching the bankers, they were going to walk away with the country’s gold reserves. May still. Crime of the millennium, I’d say. This gold was not purchased by those private banks but by taxpayers. Incredible. Thank you Eeyore for posting this. Italy is one of the world’s major gold holders. They need this asset to remain sovereign. Is this why, in the VERY FIRST MONTH OF POWER, Trudeau (first time I’ve written his name in months) saw as his priority to sell the remainder of Canada’s gold reserve? Why was this so important? Was it equivalent to Obama’s signal with his Airforce One New York flyover? A proof of fealty to his globalist masters (Soros)?

Sell your gold sell your sovereignty? Is this possible? The only financial asset without counter-party risk? I think this was Dear Leader’s Obama “signal” because it was too little gold to have any other meaning.

Whatever you do , just make sure that the lefts pet-billionaire and super villain extraordinaire George S. doesn’t get his greedy fingers anywhere near the controls of some of that gold .
He’s sent economies tumbling before , speculated currencies into the ground , all for the sake of personal enrichment , not exactly a trustworthy character in my book…
On second thought , “personal enrichment” might be too simple a motive , a couple of paygrades below George , more of a politician thing . Make it “particularly twisted personal entertainment” instead…
If you look at the donations that Soros makes you will discover a very big political motive behind his maneuvering. Like all leftist politicians he wants money not for the wealth and luxury it allows but for the power to order people around that it gives the holder. Soros wants that power but doesn’t want the limelight of being a politician. He wants to play the king maker behind the scenes.
