President-Elect of Brazil Plans to Close Palestinian Embassy

From 5JT.com

In addition to moving his country’s embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Brazilian president-elect Jair Bolsonaro plans to shut down the Palestinian embassy in Brasilia.

“Is Palestine a country? Palestine is not a country, so there should be no embassy here,” said Bolsonaro recently. “You do not negotiate with terrorists.”

Bolsonaro won his national election on Sunday with 55.1 percent of the votes, according to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.

He has stated that his first international trip as president will be to Israel. On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Bolsonaro on his electoral victory and invited him to Israel.

From our Brazilian correspondent at Vlad Tepes:

“The most incredible thing is that the “Embassy of Palestine” is a huge compound in the heart of Brasília, Brazil’s capital. No country should have a base there, not to mention the PLO!!!”

On map 2 you can see the Palestine Embassy, and underlined, the “Palácio do Planalto” (presidential office), “Praça dos Três Poderes” (where the two Houses of the Congresses are) and the “Supremo Tribunal Federal” (the Supreme Court).

What a wonderful and strategic location!!!!

The terrain was donated by President Lula in 2010, and heavily criticized as there is an Embassy Sector in Brasília where the embassies are located.

Thank you jose atento

  1. Great news before bedtime. Sleeping with a smile. I’m looking forward to Bolsonaro’s visit with Trump.
